CONGRATS TO EVERYONE DROPPING THE LBS!!
I buy fresh lemons. the lemon juice I was buying had NO VIT C. well huh? I just cut one up in the morning into segments and squeeze thru the day. YUM. no sweetner for me. I love it staright lemon. and yup I got lemons this morning. so refreshing. low cal. day for me. not hungry (ah the beauty of ketosis) 5 buffalo chicken wings small portion of sautee chicken and broccoi with a bit of alfredo sauce and parm cheese 3 tablespoons of peanut butter. craving that for some reason. don't normally eat it but right off the spoon was delish. skip dinner, maybe something small tonight. I got fingers crossed for another lb. down in the morning. LETS ROCK!

Hey guys, last question on the lemon water (i promise) so do you only use 1 lemon the whole day and mix it with water. Dont want to overdo the lemon
PS wish i had some low cal days like you guys. I feel like in the evening im still hungry alot. I guess i need to let the low carb ways sink abit. |

I exercise too! It sometimes causes me to slow (especially when I'm notably sore), but I LOVE the endorphins and the way it makes me feel. I also know it's helping my clothes fit better even if the scale doesn't always move.

be sure you are keeping your carb very low Focus in the beginning. that way you get into ketosis. and that ketosis is a natural appetite suppressant. Sure you get some hungry days, but most days the ketosis is what is controlling the food, along wtih eating some decadent breakfast. Most days I am 5 bacon and 1 egg and some melted cheese. MAN that kills my appetite for most of the day and if I eat a normal dinner I stay low in cals. and don't want to eat at night.
you will find all the tricks to getting it perfect for you. I can go thru a whole lemon in a day. lemon juice has carbs, but let me tell ya all carbs are not created equal. you will not gain weight on the juice of one lemon. if you ate the same amt of carbs in something more nasty, then it truly will effect your body. Thanks Trigger, i don't have breakfast, i just can't eat first thing in the morning, im the type of person that once i eat something it sets my hunger going and nothing will fill me up. I am definitely going to try the lemon water and see how it goes. Thank you for all your help.
Swimming was soo good last night, and it showed a 2lb loss this morning. So happy. x |

I was the same way. Would never eat breakfast over the last 40 years. When I started low carb I decided to try and change my eating pattern. Now I crave breakfast. Before I would be hungry after when I did a low fat/low cal. type diet......but now being I can have bacon, sausage, omlettes crammed full of yummy stuff, it sets me up not to be hungry. just think about it. because when you eat low fat/low cal. 'skinny diet food' like I did when losing weight before, you starve right after. On a heavier meal for breakfast, I don't starve after. the fatty type meal is satisying and sticks to your ribs. I never in my life thought I would become a morning eater |

Hmmm it makes sense, its just Mon - Fri work days its hard to find time to cook a big breakfast like that. if there was something quick i could do would probably try it.
just random question but how do i add a signature? ive looked in user control, edit option and it mentions show signature but nowhere to actually add one. Do i have to pm admin? anyone know? x |

Decided to start posting my meals to show what LC my way looks like.
yesterday B-coffee w/ 1 TBSP cream and SF maple syrup L-tuna salad(1/2 cup w/ tuna ,mayo,celery,pickle) in 1/2 a LC wrap and cup of veggie and beef soup D-1 cup Taco soup w/ Chicken,Corn and Black Bean with sourcream Unlimited Crystal Lite Snack-handful veggies and TBSP ranch dressing So a few carby items but in very small amts.My carb count was 34 and calories around 1000.Down .8lb this AM Today- B-coffee w/HWC and syrup L-tuna salad w/ 1/2 a pita wrap D-Shepherds Pie-

I'm up 0.6 lbs. today from two days ago.
I made some of those Fantastic Flour muffins last night and had a couple, but I realized I made them with erythritol/stevia blend last night instead of liquid splenda/torani syrup I used last time. I usually don't eat too many sugar alcohols. Last time I lost after making them. Since I don't have any "gastric distress" with erythritol I think my body does digest it. Ooppsss on the carb count for yesterday. I will be avoiding sugar alcohols for a while! Of course my husband lost 2 lbs. this morning after eating the muffins last night, after having been stalled for a while! |

Hi Everyone. I've enjoyed reading through this thread. i'm in. this thread fits me to a tea.
I do try to workout on most days, but I've found out that I need to keep my workouts short and intense. My menu for today: Coffee with truvia and HWC b. small chicken breast fried in CO s. Yogurt, almonds l. smoked turkey legs, green beans, small atkins bar if needed d. more chicken breast fried in co and veggies. I've re-started two days ago and have dropped 1.2 pounds. I'm happy to have found yall. ![]()
