It is good to write out what you eat. then you really see it and account for it and know in your heart of hearts you must put in some real strong effort to cut those carby ties. carbs were screaming my name MANY times just hang on, throw some of your deep down gut power into it and don't give in!!

Thank you Mistizoom for the encouragement!!! I am going to stay away from the scale for a few days and since I noticed my clothing is getting looser, I think I shall do a few measurements. I actually put on a top that was snug and it was big on me...that is a wonderful feeling!
I turn 50 this year and just want to be able to start my new decade weighing less than I did during my 40's!! New decade, new me!

I am lucky I never got to the point of food is nasty, gross or disgusting to me. I still eat, but when I get the not hungry feeling I just eat so much less in a day. But I do always eat.

Your appetite will return. something alot of us go thru. it won't derail you. you stay strong and hang in there!! think of a few decadent delish meals you love. might get you interested. Lobster, crab legs, those would get me smiling and ready to eat big time lol

This is my Favorite Sweet. It does take some prep time though..but is EASY(no bake)-I only have it occassionally though because of the berries.
Strawberry Jello Dessert
Mix 1 block cream cheese with 2 cup whipped cream and 2 pkg splenda until smooth.Spread in bottom of 9 by 13 pan.
Mix 1 lg pkg SF strawberry jello w/ 1 cup hot water until dissolved and add a 12ounce bag frozen strawberries.Stir about additional 2 m.-mixture will start to set.Pour over cream cheese mixtue and refridgerate for at least an hour.Makes 12-16 servings.
Easy treats-
Float-mix sf RB or Orange soda, ice, and cream
Italian Soda-mix Davanci SF Rasberry Syrup,Club soda,Ice,and Cream

Everyone,
Justing lurking for now and trying to decide what I'm going to do, I've been toying with the idea of going back to low carb. Spring is right around the corner and I refuse to let this weight continue to hinder me.

My in laws are in town this weekend and I know I am going to be chowing down. So I'll be starting Monday. I really hope joining a challenge/group will help me on my journey.

Thanks Ladies
No secrets really...I do probably eat at a higher carb level than you allbut what is worrking for me might derail or stall someone else.Idk..
I havent been as diligent as before...been trying to listen to my body.
I eat less overall(calories-probably 1000-1200) but my carbs are higher maybe 40-50 somedays
Usually only 1-2 meals a day(Im not very hungry)
I only eat when Im REALLY hungry-
My meal might contain NON induction foods, strawberries, pita wraps, small amt corn, yogurt, ect
I have one off plan meal weekly(only 1-and only over an hour time)dont let it cause me to go crazy.

40 carbs is still very low anyway off a 'normal' menu...so you are doing good there.

ahhh the calorie limit is key. I noticed I can push fat too far and the calories are too high in a day.

today is a lower calorie day for me. not hungry, combined with eating smaller meals means right now I just am not going to eat alot today. close to dinner time and I have no desire to eat. today my calories will be very low.

Boy it is working for you. I think I will watch my calories very more closely now. I got lazy tracking. I think I will do that again just for a bit to get my portion sizes more normal and not go overboard.

thanks Kim...that gave me some ideas to help myself.
