Not sure if this helps but first congrats on your loss I find that the weight loss for me never went in a straight line. Perhaps you need just a little more food to mix it up and add some fat.

Welcome jazzyv57 and bickbch!!

Jazzyv57 you have done amazingly well, can i ask how long it took you to lose all that weight? i would like to be a much lower number by the summer. March was the only month i didnt lose but gained weight but not going to let it put me off course.

Bickbch 25lbs is wonderful result, you will keep losing weight just need to be persistent!! Do you count carbs or calories or anything?

I am starting to watch my carb count, I have noticed when i eat 30g of carbs or less i tend to lose weight, anymore and i either stall or gain. Should i make sure i eat a certain amount of calories too?
It took me about 3 years. I probably could have done better but kept starting and stopping.

That is confusing. I kept starting and stopping, gaining and losing. Everytime I came back to the lowcarb forum I would update (probably wrongly) where I was when I came back.

I will update accurately - Thanks

The only thing I've tried so far is the LC mocha mix by Big Train, and it is delicious! The items I ordered got very good reviews, so that's why I ordered them. Had some of the strawberry preserves on my toast this morning (Sara Lee 45 and Delightful), 1 piece of toast, 1 tsp peanut butter, and 1 tsp preserves for an 8 net carb breakfast. Was delicious! I want to order some pizza and bagel flour so I can make my own pizza - got very good reviews on there for that also.

Welcome Bickbch - I agree that you are maybe not eating enough. I tend to not lose when I do not eat much, and I get that way also so have to force myself to eat.

There is a formula that tells you how many calories you should be eating in relation to how many carbs you are eating and how much protein and fat. I will look for the link for anyone who is interested.

I have made a few things with it (muffins, "donut holes", pancakes) and it is tasty and doesn't cause stalls, though I only eat it maybe once a week. There are tons of recipes in the thread in the recipe forum but for the most part you can use it like regular flour. I use coconut flour in mine so sometimes it does require extra liquid. I don't think you can use it for yeast bread, but for quick bread type applications it works very well.

I forgot the best thing I made - yellow cupcakes (recipe in the thread is for yellow cake but I made it into cupcakes). I think the reason they tasted so good was because I bought Lorann Butter Vanilla bakery emulsion to flavor it. They don't carry it on netrition as far as I now, though. No stalls, no cravings, and they tasted great.

I just checked Netrition for the Lorann Oils. They have a lot of flavors. I ordered Mocha and Almond

Those should work and I'm sure they taste good. The bakery emulsion isn't a pure oil, so can't be used for candy making, but it sounds like all the flavors should be fine for baking.

HI to the new people on the thread!!!

I just got back. 4 days beach trip. had a blast. change of scenery a good thing and had sunshine. bit of chill in the wind but nice. did good on eating but had some stuff but not much. ate a ton of crab legs YUM

will hit the scale tomorrow morning. probably up about 2 lbs only. I can tell I didn't go overboard.

OK new focus for me. April and May have to be big losing months for me. end of may is big FL. beach trip. I want to be thinner.

tomorrow is very lc and back on my foods that I know I lose. trip to grocery store early tomorrow to get some key things I need. lemons. I haven't had lemon water in a few days. miss it

hope everyone is ok and on track and doing well!!

Adou, where are ya? how is the scale treating you? I know I will be 203/204 in the morning. will drop some of that fast. rest I gotta shoot for and diet hard now.
So interested to hear how you are doing with OUR 199 goal?

OK Adou
re-commit starting first thing tomorrow morning. key for me is get rid of the few lbs. I gained on vacation, then hitting past the 199 mark.

lets go!!!!!!!

rest of April is our time to shine with lower scale numbers !!

I am a go for take off with a 'tiny' bit less restrictive induction. but definitely cleaning up my foods.

rock on!

Hey Trigger, Adoug glad you both had a nice break.

Yesterday had a big night out for friends leaving drinks, up 1.75lb all due to alcohol. Hopefully 100% clean today will lose that and more. Sick of being in the same 5lbs from 290 - 295 i really want to see the eighties!!

You guys can do it!! How exciting to finally see Onederland - cannot wait to get there myself!

I finally have a loss this week after my Easter cheat day and am down 2.5! I still have a couple of days to go before weigh-in, so hopefully will make my goal of 235 for April soon - might change the goal to 230!

Kim, I saw in another thread that you are successfully using 750 mg magnesium a night to help you "go", so I finally tried it last night. I had been taking 250-500 mg with no luck. So I tried 750 mg last night and success! Hopefully it keeps working for me.

Down to 256.something this morning (256.6 scale, 256.2 Wii fit). The Wii Fit says I've lost 3.1 lbs. since last week! Yea! Would love to do that again for the next two weeks and be down to 250ish by the middle of April - that would be 50 lbs. in 5 months. If not I'll take 250 any time in April!

Yesterday
B - Atkins Advantage Shake
L - #16 unwich at Jimmy John's (turkey bacon club lettuce wrap), most of a large pickle, diet coke
D - Mexican restaurant - beef creamy fajitas (has a cheese sauce), no beans, no rice, no tortillas! But I did have a few chips and salsa, oops.
S - can't remember if I had anything, I don't think so.

Today
Saturday - I need to get a plan!

I pigged out a bit last night. stupid vacation got me eating again

so I have chicken in the oven right now. haven't eaten but am drinking tons of water.

so meals are:

big old chicken leg quarter for lunch

dinner is TONS of veggies in some alfredo sauce with parm cheese (this fills me up so much that it will sure help me today to stay off nibbling)

mindset is back on track. todays weather is nice and sunny and getting warmer. OH BOY it is kicking me into gear to lose more weight. I want thinner as it gets warmer outside!!!

hang in there guys. and Misti 3.1 down is great!!!

time for me to get some lbs off for real and get into gear. I am just stagnating for some reason. bleck. OK Karen---get it together and get down that scale!!!!!!! there I told myself off HAHA

Our weather if finally warmer here today as well! I definitely need to start an exercise plan, maybe walking outdoors, soon.

I cleaned out a whole bunch of clothes that were hanging in my son's closet today to dontate (i.e., I haven't worn most of them in a long time). Mostly size 4x-5X, size 32-34 (my highest weight was 327, haven't been that high in several years though). This is the first time I have felt like it will be ok to get rid of my "big" clothes - that I am not afraid of regaining. I really feel like I can and will stick to this WOE for the long term.
