Danni, hows your day going so far? I used to do WWers too. They push the carbs and fruits and veggies O points. But, when you eat them, the body craves more. I cant do it anymore.

thanks guys. I need the encouragement for sure.
just still flirting with the 2 lbs to hit stupid 199. well hubby goes back to work tomorrow and kid at school. 4 days of quiet means eating lean and light. I decided RIGHT HERE AND NOW, THIS MORNING, that in a few days 199 will be on the scale. a few days. a few days to commit to move the scale a bit down. I can do it. big ribeye tonight for dinner with a bit of veggies and no more food for the day. salad for lunch. hang in there everyone. we can make the changes if we put in some effort.

Reta: Ive been doing good so far. Day 5 and no weight loss.....is it because Im eating nuts? I also eat SF jello but in the past its never hurt me before. I got in to ketosis the first day and have been there since....and Im having a really bad mood swing today but I have heard that is normal? |

man when I saw the 'lost 2 lbs. at least 15 times' it was an eye opener for me. you are right. I should be about 30 lbs down by now HAHA ok---that woke me up. how many times can I lose 2 lbs? I don't want to know so I best just lose them and get it over with I am bouncing around, not eating like I normally do---just off the routine a bit. back to routine. no weigh today. 2-3 days eating my old way. copying old food days. that should help me get my old routine back. I will see what goes down. AND CONGRATS to the losers! ya'll are in the zone. keep rockin' it!!! |

sf jello won't hurt ya.
nuts can hurt ya only because for me a few doesn't do it. I eat ALOT of them. Had to give them up for a while to get the weight loss going. |

Reta, my DDs and UDs focus on calorie counts primarily, with carbs secondary. I have a wheat allergy, so I avoid all wheat products for the most part anyhow, which eliminates a large portion of carbs. I do eat sugar though on my UDs.

Trigger I weigh in with the trainer on her "official" scale Sunday. I'm so ready to see the numbers. I've missed the last two weeks. I have seen 202 on my scale, and here's weighs 2-3 lbs lighter, so fingers crossed!

OH KIM. that is funny. I took that wrong LOL
either way I came far which is good and you are right. 199 shouldn't derail me or me to self sabotage or something. but also I am tired of losing the same 2 lbs over and over again man I gotta find some way to work this out HAHA back to basics for me. BIG BREAKFAST. it works best for me. if I eat a big breakfast then I am not searching for food thru the day at all. eat light. when I skip the big breakfast I 'graze' thru the day and can easily overeat. weird. breafast hater here and usually never eat before 12-1pm but since low carbing breakfast is my best meal of the day to set me up ok thru the day and I got away from it. so going back to what worked for me. I think I got tired of the scale. The losing. The food prep. All of it. I had my little break, now it is time to really get the weight moving off again. after all the warm weather is coming and I want thinner FINGERS CROSSED for you Adou. hope you see that number!!!! |

Alot of the girls actually just fast,some have a potato day eating 2-3 potatoes(with just salt and pepper).What I eat varies.I'm not a breakfast eater so its just coffee.Here is a few of my DDs
B- coffee black and water L-Wendys small Chili 210cc side salad 20cc and lc dressing 40 cc D- Raw veggie plate w/ lc dressing 100cc and water B- coffee L-medium potato-diced and steamed(pan fried in water) w/ salt and pepper D-same B-coffee L-veg. soup and sf jello 150 cc S- 5 saltines w/ TBSP pb -130 cc D-same 150 cc

I NEED HELP!
Ive never had problems with Atkins, losing like 8-10lbs the first week! Ive been very strict and have only lost 1lb. How do I start fresh and how long do i go off the diet to get back on track? |

Hey there! How's everyone doing? Got my official trainer weigh-in tomorrow morning and I'm excited! I better see a big drop since it's been 2 weeks. Last weigh in there was 204.something, so I'm hoping for at least 201 which would mean 1 lb a week. JUDDDing is totally working well for me. I don't struggle with the DDs like I expected. I love the freedom of the UDs, sometimes too much

I got my fingers crossed for you big time Adou.
well I am back on track. whew. I went very very low calorie for a few days here and my mind is good, food cravings etc. are gone. scale dropped the bloat OK now 2 stupid lbs to 199. WEEEeeee I am in a good place. got the bugs out of me and feel like I can easily hit 199 in a very few short days. fingers crossed for myself also lol went shopping with kiddo today, she needed a few school things. but I was looking around and realized I want smaller clothes. No way I am buying at this weight so I gotta get my butt in gear and get smaller NOW. I want sexy summer clothes OK everyone hang in there!!!!! it is a battle we will win |

Cut it out and lost easier. maybe too much fatty meats, too much butter, too much cream and cheese? all that has to be limited so I would track calories and just get an idea of what amt. you are eating. might help ya. espeically if you are a shorter gal and such. hang in there. tweaking is needed for everyone to find their sweet spot to lose weight |

Read this thread with interest, I guess thinking about it I low carb my way too. I managed to stick to atkins but almost immediately had to add in yogurt and berries, just rebelled against the ladder thing
I have read a lot of different books and taken inspiration from all of them, and most important before I fell off the wagon...I lost 40lb in three months doing it my way |

I have also decided not to weigh myself every single day as i really struggle when i see the scales not moving. Last time i weighed on Thursday morning i was 290.75. Not weighed in since then and dont plan to until 12th April.
