you know the almond cookies were 'just ok' but I could taste that weird fake sweetner and it kinda just threw them off for me. kid loved them

the sugar free chocolate chips are good. they say they are great straight out of the bag but hmmm...I ate a few and they are good but then that wonky taste kinda kicks in.
good for baking definitely.

the almond flour I can handle. I think baking with it will be good. I also got coconut flour. not sure what to do with that yet LOL

Hi,
made my 169 goal for March yesterday.Back up to 171 today with the JUDDD bounce.Hope to plant firmly in the 160s tomorrow.Still fighting sinus crud...ugh.Today was a
DD -coffee,water,and a helping of SF choc pudding.Get to EAT tomorrow.Planning on gyros.Have a good night ladies.

Well I def enjoyed my UD today. Curious to see how I bounce.

On my DDs I have decaffeinated tea for breakfast (gave up caffeine for lent), a shake for lunch, and an egg with egg beaters for dinner. I've been able to stay around my DD cals each day. I try and keep busy DD evenings to avoid temptations.

So far I'm sold, let's hope tomorrow doesn't freak me out. Lol.

Ok, so I weighed in this morning and was down .2 from yesterday. Which is fabulous considering I'd expected a big bounce from my UD! Wonder if I'll see it tomorrow. SO SO SO close to onederland. I can't WAIT!

I got the crud also. head clogged. sinus a mess. ears clogged up. head weighs 500 lbs. bend over and get woozey to the max. coughing cause all the junk running down the back of my throat. taking all kinds of meds, nothing helping. had to give my daughter meds last night around 1 am. she was hacking junk also. We both got it.

feel great if I could cut off my head HAHA


ok---Saturday is my 198. I know I can hit 199 tomorrow. I can drop 1.5 today cause will be eating light. not hitting the 198 is fine....hitting the 199 tomorrow is important. fingers crossed BIG TIME!!!! hope the scale responds is best I can hope for now.


so close....some of us are so close hope we make it soon!!!!!

congrat all you losers, you are doing amazingly!!

This is the longest ive stuck with low carb, its become habit now. I love everything i get to eat and when i do eat off plan it doesnt give me any pleasure at all.

Want to try out some new recipes so i dont get bored. Currently cooking big mac in a bowl. Smells yummy, cant wait to eat it x

Just measured my waist, biggest part of me lol and i have lost 7.5inches since 1st Jan. So happy with that. Last time i measured in Feb it was 5inches lost so ive lost extra 2.5 inches. Amazing!! Even though the scales havent changed much my body has x

Posting from my hotel room about a small victory yesterday...didn't have to use a seat belt extender on either flight yesterday for the first time in a long time. Makes me realize I really want to keep at this and not go backwards ever again!

Thanks Mistizoom!! I am really happy with my results. Weighed this morning and at my lowest weight yet of 289.75. I havent seen 80s in ages.

Well done with the seat belt extender. I have to take a flight in June and i really hope i slim down enough so i dont need to ask for one too. That is definitely a goal of mine. Well done you, thats really fantastic!! x

Hey, Yall, I'm back from induction. I lost a few pounds, but really cannot continue. Im stopped up and it's just not worth it. I need to return to LC my way.

I was on plan, but decided to have some cake and icecream at a party yest. Small portions and it didnt affect me on the scale this morning.

I got to bed at 12 last night. Back up at 5:30. I had a food hangover this morning. But, still don't regret indulging a little. My boxing workout was awsome this morning. And i plan to walk a few miles on the dreadmill after dinner. Not, running, just a walk.

I'm determined to make LC and exercise work to my good.

Food today:
coffee, black
b. 2 eggs, sausage scrabbled in CO (3)
s. Atkins bar (3)
l. salad, dressing, rotissere chicken (7)
s. atkins bar (3)
d. LC lasagna, veggie. (6)

If I were following WWers, this is an on Point food day especially since I worked out and still only 22 carbs

i see my LC our way Shero (Kimberlil) is still rocking and rolling. I hope to be rocking and rolling soon as well.

Up Day Mania! So I've gotten good at my down days on JUDDD, now I'm working on controlling my up days. I'm up a few pounds today, but looking at my weight data for last week, this was a similar pattern. Lets hope for a drop tomorrow!

I was 200.2, then it was moms b-day (she is 85, good health) and I overate on LC stuff and had a big old honking chunk of Carvel Ice Cream cake. OMG! SO GOOD.

Trying to have a clean day today. Had home made soup, might have too much salt in it, so anything i might gain will be water weight. Going swimming tomo to hopefully burn some extra calories off. x

Hi Everyone,

Posted this in my lcing journal but thought i would share it with you all too incase it helped anyone else:

I was struggling this morning. Was thinking i wanted to go off plan. All started when i weighed this morning and i am up 1lb from yesterday! I feel like i am never going to hit the 28lbs mark. Which is one of the goals i really wanted to see.

As i thought about it more, my mind started changing. What would i eat if i went off plan.

For breakfast i could imagine having sausage or bacon toastie. (two slices of toast with either the bacon or sausage inside like a sandwich) but i thought about how it would taste. Soggy bread with the meat inside. What was the thing that made it taste nice? it was the sausage or bacon. Which i could have anyway, so why eat soggy bread which i wouldnt enjoy.

If i fancied a burger, the bun was just a carrier, something to hold the meat and lettuce together. I could easily make a big mac salad bowl. I made it the other night and it was the big thing i had eaten new in a long time. So why would i cheat on that?

Then i thought about pizza, the best thing about the pizza is the topping. The cheese, pepperonis and vegetables. The crust is normally just left untouched. Again i can eat the topping now, why cheat on that when i can actually eat it now on plan?

The last thing i thought about was fries. Now i havent found a subsitute for this yet. Although turnip fries have come close in the past, however have gone off them abit. However i remembered the last time i ate fries and remembered how they tasted to me. They tasted really potatoey, like when mcdonalds fries have gone cold and they tasted horrible. I am now seriously questioning why i even had these crazy thoughts of eating off plan. I couldnt see anything that i could gain from doing this except more lbs.

After all that I have got myself back into the right frame of mind. I talked and thought my way back to not cheating. x

Hello all. Im not new to the site, but I just started Atkins back up. Ive never lasted more than a week on this but Im tired of WW! My weakness is carbs, which also my problem. I eat nothing but sugar and bread! I have no motivation but only to fit back in my scrubs that I paid alot of money for! Im a mother of three and currently going to school for nursing.

Start: March 14-197lbs
Goal: June 22nd-170lbs
August 1st-150lbs

Thats seriously what ive been thinking lately as well, focus83! Like for instance, I loveeeee burritos. The only thing different to use would be white tortillas instead of low-carb ones, and I actually like the low-carb tortillas! Or your burger example, its just a carrier. Really.
Awesome post, it helped me remember why Im on LC!
BTW, what is JUDDD?

focus----I hear ya on that. I thought about going off plan also and thought about the foods I used to eat. My mind said, geez I just can't bother to eat bread again. I don't like it enough to get the bloated tummy. the other foods I can sub. going back to old eating just isn't going to happen.

I sure know what you mean tho.!! hang in there. we are all flirting with losing a few more lbs to make us happy to hit a goal. LETS GO HARD NOW!!!

Danni, JUDDD is Johnson's Up Day Down Day Diet. Is basically calorie cycling. Although I watch carbs still too.

Danni, hows your day going so far? I used to do WWers too. They push the carbs and fruits and veggies O points. But, when you eat them, the body craves more. I cant do it anymore.
