Good number Reta-Ya know,I think thats part of it too.I recently read an article that said that dieters that aim high instead of setting small goals actually lose more.I been feeling like im aiming high and im getting better results than I even imagined.5lbs OVER Februarys goal.

I am in ketosis again. I am hardly hungry. I am staying put this time and not going overboard for a while. I want lbs. gone.

eating lighter now.

brunch....atkins meal

nothing else


dinner I have a few pork chops cooking now.


we are doing some kitchen remodeling stuff and hubby is home from work and I have to use him best I can while I got him. after pork chops back to store to return some things that were wrong and buy new stuff ugh. any projects stink. never easy


cals. will be super low today. I know a drop on that scale is coming, if not tomorrow then the next day.

I am in the zone

Today, my weight is up a bit. TOM. I hate this TOM but it's a necessary part of life. It won't last long and I will continue eating on plan like normal.

coffee with truvia, cream and co
b. 2 eggs with cheese cooking in butter
l. 1/3 lb burger, celery, a few porkrinds
d. not sure (I've got some major running around - Im sure it will be another burger)

I should be able to get a workout in before we head out to yard sales.

Happy Saturday all!

The weekend has finally arrived. Scale finally dropped a bit this morning, so I'm feeling better. I'll be eating more today than usual, but I won't weigh myself again till Monday morning. Hopefully Sunday will be a good day and the scale won't be too upset about today's eating!

Going to boot camp this morning just for official weigh in. I worked out 4 times this week and that's enough. Have to give this old body a break! His Saturday workouts are usually killer and I'm just not up for it today.

Good morning everyone!!



dropped .5
not stellar but it means I am in the zone and scale going to go down for me in the near future

in ketosis. hunger is gone. no cravings. I like this spot and am going to stay right here.

199 is very close now. I want in the 100s and then cement it down and get lower fast to KNOW I AM there. no playing around.

I got 195 on my mind as soon as possible.


hope we all lose and lose fast.

I am southern and it is snowing outside. YUCK. hate snow. I like warm weather. I was dreaming about opening up our pool the other day. NOT. haha. stupid snow. won't amt. to much but still makes everything sloppy and best is it melts in the same day most times. I like that.


off to do things.

today was 4 bacon for me---pancakes and bacon for everyone else. no biggie. I can easily cook for them and not eat.

we were shopping late last night and hubby was hungry. Taco Bell. I just don't like it. he woofed 3 tacos and said, get a salad etc etc. Nope. I can't bring myself to eat that stuff. I had unsweet tea. I tell ya fast food is so unappealing now. I just can't bring myself to eat that stuff anymore, which probaby is a good thing.

Woke up to a tiny loss this morning of 3 ounces but it all adds up,right?Still having bathroom issues and a nasty chest/head cold Still have a HUGE house full of family.Bday party for youngest Dd today.We are going to grill steaks,chicken,salmon,and then add salads.So plenty for me to eat.Will have strawberries and whip cream for my "cake".
B-coffee and maybe eggs
L/D-Grilled Meat,sauteed green beans,salad,4 strawberries w/ whipping cream and coffee

Kim, what scale do you have that it is accurate to 3 ounces? I'm getting very frustrated with mine as both me and DH can get readings within seconds of each other that vary by several pounds. Sorry you aren't feeling well but it sounds like you are having a good time with family.

Idk it weighs in lbs and ounces and ive TRIED to get a different reading a few times...lol..but it seems to know me Always exactly the same no matter if I jump on 5 times.They will read wacky on carpet??Is yours on a smooth level surface?

Ok-I've moved past common cold to ughI am soooo miserably sick today.Cant breathe,head hurts,coughing until I throwup,Didnt do great today food wise,stayed home from activities and just whined.

Menu today
B- coffee and scrambled egg(didnt stay down)
L-nothing
D-felt weak and ate bowl of cereal and bread
tea w/ honey,cold meds,tons of water.not looking to be a good scale day tomorrow. but im so sick Im not really caring that much
Just praying I feel better soon

FINALLY!

dropped 1lb.

knocking right at the door of 199!

I can do this. finally get out of the 2s. 2 more days and I should be solid in the 199-198 area. I can not wait. no more going back for me anymore. forward down that scale.


Kim, boy you sound like you got it rough. so far people are sick around us, but we haven't fallen yet. kiddo has stuffy nose. got that from school I am sure. hope you get better soon.

The scale is on a tile floor, but I try to have each "foot" of the scale in the middle of a tile. It might not be perfectly level though. Sometimes I move it to the wood floor and it's not any better there either. I think we'll get a new one soon. I'm hovering around 264 right now. I would like to get down to 261 in the next week so I don't lose my online dietbet!

Congrats on the losses Lori, Trigger, Reta, Adoug4ho, and focus83, and anyone else I missed! Sorry you aren't feeling well focus. Maybe Kim gave it to you?!?!

Good morning! Scale was kind to me this morning, down to a new low of 261.6. I got the same reading twice in a row so I stopped there. Very happy with that, over 5 lbs. since last week! Glad I didn't snack last night while watching "Worst Cooks in Amercia" - though their food was not very appetizing and I was not hungry it made me "snacky" but I restisted. Have a great week everyone!

ick. I went on a chocolate craze last night. I ate tons of it. Plus a heavier lc dinner.



why the chocolate extra? I mean I have 76% choco. squares. I have atkins bars


but at some point I want 'other' chocolate. lol

ugh

self sabotage? just being stupid? hormones?

what is it?

Scale not moving but not too suprised...been a bad few days....and feel like a bloated mess.Eating pretty good(when im eating) but lots of meds,lots of congestion,ugh.

My scale moved, but in the wrong direction! Up a pound! I'm hoping to see a downward trend later this week. Dang that elusive onederland!

Got up at 3:30AM thanks to a growling belly & a snoring husband. He doesn't usually snore, but the last 3 nights or so....yikes! Spent some time on the computer and drank a cup of coffee before 5:45AM boot camp. Had a good workout and now I'm at work wishing I could go home and back to bed! Can you say, LONG DAY?

Lori and Trigger, how frustrating but just keep at it! You are both so close to onederland! I hope to join you in about 6 months or so!

Hey, Yall I've been seeing a lot of posts about exercising causing stalls. I think I will forego exercise this week and see what the scale says. But, TOM should be gone by Tueday, so that experiment might not be accurate.

What do yall think? I know working out provides great moods from the endorphines. But, I might just go ahead and give it up for now because I've been working out strenuous for years and I'm still over weight.

I think exercise can slow loss, but it does so much for changing our bodies. I personally love the endorphin rush. I think there's a saying that diet is what we do to look good in our clothes and exercise is what we do to look good without our clothes!
