well, wendy, you can't stay away forever either. *cry*.


we are working on a virtual coffee date, by the way. trying to figure out a day time that will work for as many as possible so we can come and chat like the old days. we need some wit fun!

work was good today. only had 3 boys in class. tomorrow will be more since I already saw 3 new kids come in to the pod before I left today.

Hi all!!! Doing okay tonight. I'm up a bit today to 176. Not surprised cause I lost so much quickly. Just need to stay focused and it will come back off.

One more night of work and I have three nights off. Yeah!!!

Meeting went pretty good. Lost 2lbs according to their scale.

I used to weigh once a week so I'd know how much I lost in one week. Now I tend to weigh two - sometimes three - times a week. I think I like seeing it move down all week. Although, I also miss seeing the bigger number. I dunno. I am never happy. LOL

Jackie - That is how I was feeling. Except mine was 220's - not 120's. LOL

lol Amy. I can't help but think of every 10 pounds as a new decade


got my weight workout in. probably could have done just a little more but being the first time going through this particular work out I needed to make sure not to overdo it and bring on bad back issues tomorrow. if I feel reasonable tomorrow I'll adjust a little the next time I do the leg work out. don't get me wrong, I worked hard but didn't push quite as hard as I normally would if I knew how I was going to feel the next day.

now I'm showered and jammied.

anyone have anything going on tomorrow? after work dd22 and I are going to do something. probably take her to lunch. no other plans, really. dh works graveyard tomorrow.

Morning ladies!!!

I didn't sleep good last night. Just tossed and turned. Oh...and that big guy who is my BF was hogging the darn bed!! LOL

Stews ~ Good job on exercising. I was doing good........and now.........well, I just don't. I just can't get myself motivated to do it. I keep saying "next week", and then next week comes. LOL

Peskie ~ Yeah, I read from my phone sometimes too. But its too hard to respond. A tablet would be awesome! My birthday is in LESS than two weeks - who wants to buy me one?

Nothing up today while Sara is in school. But after school she has to come home, do her homework and then change into her pjs for a thing at school. Its book fair week - so they have a few things going on. Tonight the principal will be reading them a story. And then we will go and visit the book fair and probably get a few books.

Morning. I didn't weight. I feel puffy anyways so it's probably good.

Stella had a better night but these 2-3 hour feedings are getting old quick! I think Kyle was sleeping 6 hours by now

Kyle has a nice cold. Again. We had silly snacks and story time this morning but we are going to skip it. I want him to try to relax a bit. Later we have Stella's 2 month checkup! I'm anxious to see she's gaining weight. I've kind of stopped doing what the doctors suggested and just following my instincts and she's acting better, I just hope she's gaining. And then her shots of course

Good job on the weight Amy I'm usually a daily weigher but I'm trying to cut back. Have fun tonight.

Awww... Your kids getting shots is the worst. Sara was so brave for her flu shot this year. She cried, but held still and got it done.

Let us know how Stella's appointment goes. Poor Kyle... Kids with colds is rough. Is he tired, etc? Or acting ok?

Amy, if you have to start small do that. tell yourself you can stop after 15 min. (or whatever time is reasonable to get you in but not make it overwhelming). once you are going you may find your groove and go past the min. time but don't be afraid to start small if you need to. honestly, that's why I chose another short weight routine (3 to 4 exercises a day) from my collection of jackie routines. because sometimes that is how I'm getting myself in there still. by reminding myself that it won't take long once I start. or another way is to watch something on tv and do something during commercials. whether its running in place, jumping jacks, sit ups, lunges, whatever. just move... you can do it, friend! if I can....anyone can *blush*. I can't wait till I feel in the zone, though and have the confidence that I will keep going. although, I've been pretty consistent for 5 or 6 weeks now I don't FEEL it yet always and have to talk myself into getting in there often.

jackie, I will be looking to hear how Stella is doing. don't worry about not doing exactly what the doc said and following your instincts. as long as you are watching her and paying attnetion you can always adjust again if needed. you're a good mom. hope she starts sleeping better for you soon. also hope Kyle feels better quick.

my only set plans are lunch with dd22. as of now she chose red lobster (I was surprised..she usually chooses a sushi place. yuck, lol. (I don't mind going there, I just don't get sushi and get something else instead). anyway, I did tell her if she changes her mind she can let me know. we are going to meet about 1:30 after I get off work. I am hoping I can do cardio tonight after dh leaves for work about 6. not sure if I'll be able to or not yet. my toe is still sore but we'll see if I can do something even if its shorter than normal or not as intense.


and can I say, its been nice having a little more activity in here! thanks witsters! I love that we have email and use it but I've missed this too for ongoing chats. if I'm on my computer it so much easier to follow than the email threads sometimes. but I'm thankful for both, lol.

Yeah... I mean I don't really have an excuse. We have a treadmill IN our living room. LOL I really should start. Especially where I have no job. I have NO excuse.

I SO wish we had a Red Lobster here. The closest one to us is in CT - 60 miles away.

I will make an effort to come in here in the morning and then during the day from time to time. I think I got so used to not being able to come in here (due to work) that it wasn't habit anymore. KWIM?? I'll try to make it a habit to come in. Especially where I'm home most days - all day.

Randomness for the day: Our local store (Hannaford's) where I buy cases of water - their store brand - WHY do they fill it up to the top? It NEVER fails. Every. Single. Time. I open one, I spill it. Usually on myself.

to start, Amy, I challenge you to make a game out of it or something. watch a show and do treadmill during commercials. or do a certain amount of time (short time) and then give yourself a small reward (not food, lol) or rest or whatever). kind of like the 15:15 for housework. find what will work for you to get yourself on there even for short periods of time.

I am not on much during the day right now because of work, but I am usually on in the afternoon some. I haven't been as much as I could lately, because nobody has been around. a post here and there but most the time I come check and there is no posts so I've been watching movies instead, lol. I'll try to check sooner most days after work to see if anyone is around too. I want to do my part to get this place going again. I want it to be a place others see as a good support group and want to join too. we are always there for each other but there could be others that could use our support if they saw us being active..or somewhat active, at least.


LOL @ spilling the water on yourself. that sounds like something I'd do. I don't learn quick with some things bwahahaha

Wahhhh... Do I HAVE to exercise Stews? LOL I don't wanna.
