Debbie - I hope those work!

I'm so stuffy I've become a mouth breather.
Any suggestions?

Cindy - snowy here, but not sticking!

Thanks MK for the beautiful SNOW you're sending me!!! :-P. I am sooooo ready for spring but I think I've heard everyone say this before????

So, I gained 2.4 this week. 2.4 stupid pounds! Had a better day today, just have the stupid munchies non stop! And the cough med didn't help! Excuses! Anyway, next week will be a loss if I have to cut my arm off to get it!

Gotta go home, just got the girls from brad.

Bought Black and Tan flats. No sandals.

Went to Talbots and found a navy cotton knit dress and 6 shirts. Tops are buy one half off second. I think I have plenty. I love 3/4 length sleeve shirts in the spring late winter but also got two shirt sleeve cotton tees.

Tomorrow I have a list of things to do. I need a manicure for one thing.

I haven't run since Sunday. Foot still a bit painful. Cancelled doctors appt because it will get better in time. Would like to try to run tomorrow but may take 2-3 more days off hoping to get rid of the pain.

Went to calling hours for my running friends husband. I feel horrible for her. It was very crowded. Her oldest daughter seemed to be doing well. She is the one my husband gave a job a few summers ago.

Going to read and fall asleep. A lot to do tomorrow. Hope I can get myself up at a decent time. All depends how well I sleep.

Becky, you will lose the weight. Stick to Jenny food.

No snow here. Rain over too. Supposed to get cold when I am in sunny California.

MK, do you take decongestants like Sudafed? It has to be the real stuff. I agree with Kaye that the cool mist vaporizer helps too. Sudafed keeps me awake so I take it early in the day. I never use long acting decongestants either. They make my heart race.

To all you busy shorties who haven't posted in a while I am thinking of you and hope it is good busy keeping you away.

Hi!
Here; just busy!

Had dress appt last night - my fabric is gorg! The style very retro. Now on a mission to find shoes.

DH and I off to "Spank" - a 50 Shades parody tonight.

Sad about your friend's husband Debbie - that's my age!

DH brought some home yesterday - the real stuff!
Though I wish I'd read your comment about it keeping you awake!

I did get a whole book read last night!

It did finally clear up my nose though and I'll take another one this morning about 9 and hope I won't need anything tonight!

So sorry about your friend!! My dad died at 52 and I thought it was old at the time . . . now it's so young!

Becky - Spring will come . . . someday!

Having my friends husband die so young makes me worry. If something happened to Don I would be forced to work full time for benefits. He doesn't have enough life insurance. I would have his retirement but we need to save a ton more. Yes I could work more but I would be a mess for a long time. Mary told me to hold on to my husband. Her kids are younger. It is so sad.

Trying to get everything ready to pack. Need it to fit in one big suitcase. Cutting back some. I am really only there for 4 days. Two are travel jeans days.

I have delayed my errands and need to go.

I just got a call from my doctor to schedule an appt. need to go do that.
I called to refill my thyroid med.

I need to make opthamology appt too.

Better get to it!!

I am afraid it will be over weight. I am carrying on a backpack and can put shoes in it if needed.

It all fits but this suitcase is heavy to begin with. Extra shirts shouldn't weigh too much.
I am a terrible over packer.

Got a gel French manicure. It should last longer and it dries really fast.

Think I am done for the day. Made my appointments. Got my med refill. Now I just have to go to the bank and work tomorrow. I will be up at 4am with my ride coming at 5am. I need to pack a lunch for the plane.

Made DS and his GF a baked ziti for tonight. I will have something like an omelete.

Getting excited for my trip!!!

Debbie - I over-pack too! It's so hard to know what I'll want to wear!
I heard gel manicures last for a few weeks!

Popping in to say hi!

The B&G banquet was super! Lots of fun!

Recuperating and trying to clean my wreck of a house.

Had to go get the van inspected today!

Now just have to have Padraic finish up a few things...he has one or two requirements to finish on four different activity badges and he will have earned all twenty activity badges, his third compass point, a special badge, and a certificate. It's pretty impressive A few of the other boys in his den have gotten it and I think a few more will be getting it at bridge over. We visited three different Boy Scout Troops and he has picked the one he wants to join. They are having a spaghetti supper next Saturday (the 9th) that he will have to and help out at.

Anyhow, I think I've babbled enough!

Oh! If anyone is interested...the Thirty-one customer special for March is...for every $31 you spend, you can get the Cindy tote, Retro Metro tote, Cinch Sac, Retro Metro Weekender, Inside out bag, Easy Breezy tote, or the Lil' Expressions tote for 50% off! I have an order going in Sunday, next Friday, and the 17th right now, so if you want anything, just let me know!

I was confused because my first post came back with a message saying my post had to be approved! Guess it was because of my play name?

Anyway, went out for dinner, then the play.
All I can say is; we left at intermission.
Very low budget - although funny - was quite cheesy.
Should have gone with women but DH insisted he go......I warned him - he didn't get a thing. Ran into some girls from work -they thought the same.

Deb - let me know about the gel manicure - since my nails are off - I need to do something - the tips are all that need to grow out but soft and peeling.

Jenn, you are a good mom. Get a mani/pedi you deserve it!

Cindy, they say it can last three weeks. My manicures barely make it 5-6 days without chipping.

DH flying to LA now. I should have taken tomorrow off. The convention starts Sunday. It ends Wednesday.we come home Thursday.
