I'm finally over whatever that creeping crud was that I had. Just working so much, they finally hired our new boss but not sure when he will start. Ready for some downtime.. we are going to Ryan's for Easter. I always have it at my house but no way this year. I told them it was Ryans or sandwiches. . Hope you have a great weekend..... be in here ready to fire it up on Monday!!!

my motivation is standing in the bathroom looking in the mirror naked and picturing me in a swimsuit on the beach in 40+ days. Downright discouraging! and SCARY!!!

My knee is healing so I am back spinning which the cardio really helps. Now, if I could just stop eating carbs -

Ok - I did terrible this weekend - can not even begin.............

But I am on strict Atkins starting today - not getting on scale until Friday. I am really skeerrred

Getting dressed this am, I am like so over it. My gut is so gross and I am sooo uncomfortable.

Easter turned into a week...

So...Not proud to say that my Easter cheat day turned into an Easter cheat week - and 5 pounds.

Yuck. On a good note, I sent all the candy back to college with my daughter and her boyfriend! I couldn't have it sitting around. It's hard enough to not eat what the two year old eats. I was battling the two year old, the 16 year old, and the 18 year old. But everyone is back in school, except the littlest monster, who will eat what I eat for the most part.
It's 60 degrees here today. 80 and 90 are coming fast, and it would at least be nice to fit into last year's summer clothes! So, here we go again!

I didn't get on the scale either, but the last time I did, last week one day, it was at 222.5

Today, very strict Atkins. I worked in the yard Saturday and yesterday. It was low seventies, beautiful outside. Saturday I didn't feel the heat as bad because we had like 10-30 mile an hour winds, no kidding, so kept the heat really down to a dull roar. I worked my butt off for 2 hours, and had to stop. Yesterday, hands even sore, I did a little more, but was HOT. I told dh last night that I cannot go through another summer miserable. CANNOT! Even as it is now, if I were to lose like I normally do, I would only be down to like 195 before we left for Alabama. Really makes me mad at myself. I had a chart created for where I would be now if I had stuck to this. I should have been at 179 right now. Makes me want to .

So fat, I hate looking at myself in the mirror at all the rolls and bumps and bulges. Just pure disgust.

However. I told dh last night, do not bring me meals, do not make me anything that you know I cannot have, is very sweet for you to think of me, but no more. Don't bring me home cookies from Subway, or anything. I have to do this and have to learn to start saying NO!

Who is onboard with me???? I am going to start weighing on Fridays, so won't be a full week this Friday, but that's what I'm gonna do. Going to post my weekly goal, my menu's etc. If you guys see anything I need to tweak, feel free to speak out!!

My goal through this Friday is to drink more water, stop the diet soda fetish and begin a walking program again.

Today

B: peach tea
L: salad(lettuce,eggs,bacon,cucumber,cauliflower,gold en italian dressing)
D: cornish hen, green beans

water water water

Going to tan today, then will walk 30 minutes on the treadmill tonight.

Tasha - I am so with you!!!! My sugar is high, I am such a miserable mess but yet, here I sit starving!! I am going to stick to it really strict this week and will also weigh on Friday.

B - 2 hb eggs, 3 slices turkey bacon
L - piece of leftover steak and one turkey sausage
D - same as lunch
S - string cheese

You know, my biggest issue? I have no energy. I don't mind going to the gym and love to work out but lately I have no energy. Going home and laying on the couch sounds so much more fun. For my health, I have to stop this. STOP THE INSANITY!!

I don't either Cheryl. I don't feel like doing anything but sitting. I know it is the crap I am putting into my body. I read an article also on the affects of Aspertame in your system and how it is poisoning people, they have been diagnosed incorrectly with MS among other things, and it isn't that, it's the affects of drinking too much diet soda, or anything with Aspertame in it. I have to get away from it.

I had to literally MAKE myself go outside Saturday and Sunday, but then I was back in the recliner watching the ACM awards.

good morning!!!

made it through day 1!! I didn't get to walk though, we got company last night and I didn't get to stop and tan either Maybe tonight. I did get on the scale this morning and was at 222.5 BOO

can't believe I'm here again.

L: salad
D: cornish hen with green beans or asparagus
snack, slice of cheese, sugar free jello

hoping to get in 30 minutes of walking today!

I also made it thru with just one bad step - handful of popcorn, ugh!!

BUT, my motivation is better today so here's to day two - still not going near scale until Friday which will be my official weigh in for our new challenge? - We are starting a new challenge?

B - 2 hb eggs
2 round turkey sausages

L - piece of steak, some green beans and cauliflower

S - LC shake

D - turkey burger or an omelette - not sure

COME ON TASHA!! Wouldn't it be nice after all these years, if we finally did it?

yup....new challenge underway!

I need to boil some eggs for breakfast. I think I will have time in the morning and I never do....I can just grab one or two and go. Need to fry up some sausage too, I love cold sausage.

YES!! it would be sweeeeet! to finally do it! It's all I seem to think about now. Picture myself being thin....how nice it would be to get dressed without worrying someone will notice how big I am(duh), and how many rolls are visible through my clothing. Sick of that!

I am tired of all the tugging and pulling when I get out of a chair

I could make a list a mile long to the benefits of losing even just 20 lbs.

But my short list:

1. More energy
2. Clothes fit better
3. Doctor's appt end of May - want good numbers!
4. When I see myself in a mirror or store window - I don't gasp in horror!

My appointment is the 6th of May and last my doctor heard I had lost 6 pounds and was doing well...don't want to disappoint her.

These are mine:
1.More Energy
2.Clothes Fit Better
3.Get off of maintenance meds I am able to
4.Not being the only fat one in every group of friends/family
and yeah the gasping in horror thing also!!!

Long term....health benefits, stop wondering whose horribly bumpy butt that is in the mirror when I turn around !!!

yeah, I get up at about 5. I'm just not a big breakfast eater unless it is later in the morning, kinda makes me a little nauseous to eat breakfast early like that. I don't eat lunch until 1pm or later sometimes

Ok - another day.............I ate a granola bar last night. Did good all day

My stomach still feels huge so I am sure Friday weigh in will not be pretty.

I really suck at this dang it.

I'll look at the three Cheryl, maybe it will give me some motivation. I start off doing really well, got one day down, half of another and lunch was brought to me again, so then last night and all today was down hill.

I have a spin class at 5 pm so cardio will do me good - I had to go to a meeting outside Office and every time I get out of my car, I have to straighten out the waist on my jeans cause it rolls over, fix my shirt, - NOT A PRETTY SIGHT......................

I'm telling you, I totally suck at this.

I guess tomorrow is starting over again day. At this rate, I'm gonna be on the beach at the stupid weight I am at right now dang it.
