After talking about how much energy I had yesterday morning, I pretty much it a wall yesterday around noon and nothing seemed to help. I had some 2T CO w/ 1T peanut butter around 3 and then dinner. I'm going to ride it out for a few days and see how it goes.

Oh nooo Tami! I hope you feel better today I really hate losing that energy after feeling so good. Really hoping that the energy returns for you so you can carry on! My scale should be here mid-week.. I am praying praying praying that it doesn't weigh me a ton more

It better be a good scale! lol Hard to tell on the energy this morning, woke up to a kicked breaker switch and half of our house not having power and hubby getting all flustered in trying to figure out what the problem was. We're all crabby and ready to climb back in bed! lol

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm happy to report that the scale is moving again. I think IF really agrees with me. I'm down 3 pounds from last Monday's weigh in and finally 1 pound under my pre-Christmas weight. Please let this continue!

Boy, wouldn't that be nice?!? From your fingertips to the woosh fairy's ears The weight really is coming off so slowly this time. IF I get to 80 pounds total by Feb 15, my one year anniversary, it results in an average loss of just under 7 pounds per month. In times past I've easily dropped that in a week to 10 days. Hopefully getting back to my roots of only eating when I'm hungry and NO MORE CHEATS will get things moving a little quicker!

Good luck pulling in the reigns... I know it's not easy...

Lynne - it is fun stuff. I used to be a consultant....but I bought to much from myself! honestly, I didn't have time for all the parties. Instead, I will just host one for myself, get what I want and be done!

Tami - I hear you on the budget! That is why I only bought my Daughter a new lunch tote (she has had her 31 lunch tote and used it for 2 years) and agreed to host. January is DOUBLE hostess earnings. So far, I have gotten a HUGE response from people "saying" they are coming. NOw , hopefully they do!

D - how are you feeling today??? Girl, maybe a trip to the DR would help. You were so sick not that long ago!

volleyball (3:45 - 5:15), Middle School CPO (parent organization) at 5:30 and I was at the clinic with Haven by 7:00 and Tristan had guitar at 7:00 - 8:00. I truly didnt' get home for the day till 8:45! the CPO meeting was HORRIFIC. Ever felt like wheels spinning miles out of control, yet, not going anywhere? That describes how I felt after that meeting. 1 hour 15 minutes and still NOTHING! I have emailed the President to share my frustrations. Not sure staying in that organization is wise for me. We will see. ADD to all this my DH had a church meeting from 6-9:30 so he wasn't available to help shuttle at all! GRRR I hate nights/days like that!

TODAY will be better....only sleep wasn't for me. I woke at 3:45 a.m. and have been up since. I will go to bed early tonight, then 3:45 won't be so bad!

Ugh! I so remember those crazy days! Have to be honest and say for the most part I'm glad they're over & done! Miss the drives with the kids, but definitely do not miss the parent organizations, athletic boards, etc. Even though I volunteered in the kids classes twice a week, helped teach their art program, always helped on their sports teams and served on two different athletic boards, I could not handle the PTA here. I felt exactly the same as you. 2 hour meetings where nothing was accomplished. I decided my time was better spent elsewhere. It sounds like you're actively involved in other aspects of their lives. I wouldn't sweat the parent group.

Great job on your DD, though!!!

I'm down another pound to 206 today, though I *swear* I saw 204, then hubby walked in the bathroom and his footsteps behind me made the scale bounce upward and I couldn't get it to read 204 again! lol It's all his fault! lol Maybe 199 won't be too far off after all? Hmmm....

I have already bowed out of my Daughters school organization. They got a new crop of Mom's in there and it was a MESS! I had spent 8 years helping with things, it was time for me to move on for sure. I think this school, it won't take 8, 2 and I'm about done!

Hola!

Monica~ Like Tami, gotta say I'm glad that time is done. I paid my dues! I did PTO for 2 years when the kids were in elementary school in N. Cali and it was ok...tried it for a year here in AZ for middle school..took everything out of me not to go screaming running from the building. :P Never again. I did plenty as they grew up though, more specifically in class rooms and helped with fund raisers, etc..so I never felt bad about giving up the PTO

...as for the hecticness of when they're smaller...it's only gotten worse as they've grown up. Imagine that!

Tami~ yanno it's really 204, right? 199 is right around the corner, I feel it!

Feeling soooo much better today. Yesterday I actually looked like death Scariness at its finest, I tell ya!!
There is something to be said for absolute bedrest..it worked wonders for me. Thankful that hubby was off and able to just take over everything. I did wake early morning with a horrid sore throat and thought, uh oh...but I forced myself back to sleep and woke feeling alot better without the sore throat. Hoping this is all a good sign!

DD today. Little bit hungry and I think it's cause I didn't eat all of my UD calories yesterday. Funny how that works, huh?

New scale coming today. I'll use it and the old one in the morning and hope they're relatively close..or dare I say, the new one weighs me less?!

I may be done with this organization after this school year. I am right now trying to contact the vice pricipal on things I needed him to tell me on Monday (but he skipped the meeting!) ...

Slept like CRAPola again last night... Tonight, I better sleep like a WALRUS in the afternoon SUN! If not, I will call my DR tomorrow and merely say ...


My up day yesterday was fairly low. I am sure that is why I could eat my DESK today! So far, I am managing!

Man lack of sleep really sucks. The lack of sleep could also be a reason you're feeling more hungry

Well, my scale has decided to pause at 206 for now, so I guess that really was the correct weight yesterday... for the most part I'm enjoying Fast Five-ish eating, but I've noticed the last two nights I've been starving and probably overate as a result. I suppose it's not a huge deal when it's the only meal you're eating, but hope that resolves soon!

Feeling okay today. Not as chipper today as I was yesterday.. dang coughing kept me up. I never thought I'd be so relieved to be sneezing my head off today but I am because it's relieving all the pressure I had in my head!

Scale! Put 10lb barbells on it, it weighs .2 lighter so I have to ADD .2 to whatever weight I get. I like that it weighs the exact same every single time someone gets on it. Not one fluctuation. Bummer thing; it weighed me 2.8 heavier than my old one. The old one weighed me 231 again today for the third day in a row....the new one was at 233.8.. While it's not exhorbitant in a gain, it still blows. I think I can handle it though.. I'm kinda wondering what's going on with the old scale..either it's correct and I'm due for a whoosh, or it realized it was gonna have competition and decided to hold it's breathe and hope I don't notice it's still here.

Another thing...in the booklet that came with the scale it said not to use it on any soft flooring such as pergo or any type of laminate flooring and capet (duh!)...that concrete or a 12x12 ceramic tile was "best".... well the only place I've got concrete is in my garage! I sure as hell ain't trudging downstairs in the freezing cold to go stand on a scale in my garage.. I say this of course...but in the back of my head what i'm dying to know is; does it REALLY make that much of a difference??? Am I possibly jipping myself out of a lower weight? Or what if it's actually higher? See! I told you guys I'm neurotic!!

Monica~ I'm so sorry you had bad sleep again. I feel ya, I get like that too. Hoping tonight is a better night for you!

Tami~ I think if you stick to the fast 5 style you're body will regulate and you won't feel as hungry to overeat.. I found even with JUDDD the first few weeks I overate quite a bit even on my UD's.. then suddenly it just stopped. You're body's prolly trying to figure out wth is going on!

I'm sittin here waiting for my new bed to come. I'm so freakin excited!
Next is shopping for new bedding...this should be interesting with DH....

Ooops! Gotta go! My bacon is ringing in the oven BBL!
