Good morning-

DS19 leaves tomorrow on the red eye flight back to camp. His visit has been too short, but it has been a good mix of family/friends/work.
He told us he's going to have to find another summer job. (second one, he's keeping the first one too). His boss told them after January everyone will be limited to 19 hours a week & all extra hours will be covered by the 2 salaried employees. (it was previously 29/week with occasionally more-even OT occasionally-depending on their rental groups). They'll hire additional employees to avoid pushing into that regularly. Not a huge deal for DS19 since he's just working for spending money, but I feel really bad for the people that are paying their bills with this job.

MK, I hit the wall yesterday afternoon too. I didn't nap but did lie down for a while because I had a head ache. Probably just the junk leaving after a few days of eating better. Of course staying up late makes a difference too.

Becky, you can do this! Starting is the hardest part! Keep up the good work.

Debbie, she is so adorable! Enjoy all the time you get to spend with her!

Big to everyone else. I'm sure Cindy is having a great time!

At work. 3 more hours. Getting a break now after 9 hours.

Redskins lost boo ho but honestly I won't get upset. There are far more important things to upset me.

Oh and Ravens won so still have a local team to root for.

So many sick people here!! Staff and patients. Not just flu.

Morning!!

Welcome back Cindy!
Did you get to do any shopping in Nashville?
How was the flight?

Finally back to a normal day!

RIP class, library, lunch with the ladies and then finish putting away Christmas..
Tonight I'm going to start making another T-shirt quilt. This one is for DS23.

Stayed in bed late but up early. Not a lot of sleep but feel fine.

DH has a meeting after work so I will beat him home.

Praying for a good Monday. There is so much flu, bronchitis and just plain sick people. The hospital has been crazy. A lot of staff calling out sick too. I pray I stay well. I usually get one or two colds a year but rarely get really sick. People have been really sick.

Better dry my hair eat breakfast, make lunch and get on the road.

Good morning-
Its back to school for DS15 today & DS19 leaves tonight. I want another week with both of them at home...

Debbie, hope you don't catch it. I stayed up late/got up early too. (I'm tired though!)

MK, sounds like a busy day. I started a crossfit at home workout, along with walking and I'm going to do better about making it to yoga at least once a week, but twice would be better.

Cindy, glad Nashville was fun!

Becky, you are doing so great! Keep it up!

Hello Ladies!

Sorry to have been absent for so long! Life has been very hectic! Besides all the school stuff leading up to the holidays, there were the holidays themselves, kids being home, and to top everything off, my FIL had another heart attack right before New Year's. He just came home yesterday. He needs his valve replaced, but since he just had surgery this past June, they want to wait to do surgery again.

Debbie-I apologize profusely for your package going out so late! I hope you've received it by now!

Cindy-I haven't opened yours yet! Waiting for Debbie! Glad you had such a good time!

Becky-Are you doing WW?

MK-You sound busy too!

Kelly-good luck with your work out! I start, but can never seem to stick to anything!

Pinewood Derby is this weekend for the boys, so they are busy getting their cars together. I need to go to the bank and the grocery store but I don't feel like doing anything. lol. Oh, and Girl Scout Cookie sales start Saturday! Let me know if you want any I think I can send you a website so Millie gets credit...

Need to take down the tree too!

No package came but let me make sure it wasn't hidden behind a bush.

My washer is making a funny noise hope it is OK because I have to leave.

DA28 called saying he is sick but at work. He has chills and thinks he has a fever and stomach cramps. This is not the flu we are seeing so worries me some. Of course he is an alarmist and I overreact.

Gotta go!

I started to post but got interupted. DS19 is at the airport for his overnight flight. He's my chatty kid, I forgot how nice it is to just listen. (I'm the other chatty family member)
I'm sure DS19 will need cookies at camp.
Hopefully, I can stay motivated with both diet and exercise. Its a lot more fun to just not worry about it, at least until your pants won't zip anymore anyway.

Becky, you are doing great! Keep up the good work!

Debbie, hope your washer is okay. I'm sure you all are swamped at work right now and you aren't getting any sit down time except to chart. Hope your DS isn't too sick!

Morning-

DS19 sent me a text this morning, he is back at camp. He only has afternoon classes so he can finish up the last little bit on his paper that's due today and (maybe) nap if he needs to before his first class at 2 this afternoon.

My plan for the day is yoga, cleaning, follow up phone calls (for a fundraiser that should have been wrapped up in Nov.), grocery store, dry cleaners, & farmers market.

Doing nothing. Reading, watching Today show. Should buy some groceries I need and need to do some cooking to have food available. Not sure what to make. Thinking of Crack Slaw. Have to make a list.

I run tonight and the weather has warmed up. Wish it would last!!

MK, I need to clean too. Everything needs dusting. I sweep, wipe up, vacume but haven't dusted anything in a few weeks or more.

Kelly, did your son fly a red eye flight? I never sleep well on a plane.

Debbie, he was on the red eye, with 2 connections and almost 5 hours in combined layovers, a little over 2 hours at LAX last night where he grabbed a 4x4 from In N Out (that's 4 meat pattie & 4 pieces of cheese on a bun along with all the other stuff they put on it, its his normal order) and finished the last of his HW. (LAX is huge and he also had to get from the commuter terminal to the other one, so just over 2 hours was probably about right) He had the long part of his flight from there to Cleveland where he had another just over 2 hour layover to finish whatever homework was left and then a puddle jumper flight (30 minutes or so) from there.

He actually says he likes the red eye because he can sleep pretty much anywhere and he got back to school a little before he would have gotten up this morning. Plus, he doesn't feel like he's missing meals flying overnight since he wouldn't be eating anyway.

Jenn, hope you are doing something fun as a MS volunteer this morning.

MK, I need to clean too. I haven't done much while DS19 has been home since I've had kids in and out throughout the day.

I called and asked for a 920 appt tomorrow instead of 1020 for my weigh in. I haven't been this excited for a king time. Kinda node.

Guinie is still about the same, maybe a little weaker.

Gotta get Alyssa in about 45 minutes. I have Gracie with me now.

I'm excited too cuz my first Mary Alan order has been shipped. Lol. My director said I should have it by Friday, I'm hoping since they shipped it early that I might be here on Thursday.

Sorry Guinie still isn't feeling great.
Have fun with the girls and I'm sure your Mary Alan order will be there soon. (Its fun to wait on stuff to come.)
