Day #3 on Jenny. I'm feeling so much better physically and mentally, I can't wait to see what I lose this week.

I have a 920 doc appt, then meeting my director at noon to go over some things for Mary Alan (I did that this time. Lol) and then meeting a friend for a late lunch or early dinner, however I do it at 3 at Applebees. I'll get either the under 500 calories or one of the WW entrees. Going to look now on he website cuz I don't remember what they have.

Good morning-
I'm happy to have my car back today! DS19 likes to go thrift store shopping so we may do that today. He is still trying to hit all of his favorite foods and keeping the fridge clear of leftovers.
We had a nice bike ride yesterday to the local Irish pub so he could get a patty melt and fries/gravy. (today I think its Mexican again)

Debbie, my DH likes to cook too. Fortunately, he's supportive with whatever eating plans I come up with. Last night neither of us felt like cooking so we just went out. (DS19 was working, we brought home a box of my extra food since my roasted chicken was half a chicken, he was happy to finish that off for me when he got home)

I decided to skip yoga today since the boys go back to school next week. DS19 gets up fairly early (for a college kid anyway) he always has, but I think coming from the east coast for break makes a difference too.

I'm just not using my credit cards in January. They all need a break!

He's in Belize for 10 days - he'll be home on January 12 and leave for school on January 13 and classes start January 14!

DD28 likes thrift stores too! I find so many childhood memories there - both mine and the kids!

We're going to a friend's tonight for "wine and conversation" but since I'm not drinking, I found a fizzy lemony drink to take for me, and DH doesn't like wine, so he'll have beer . . .

ecture from Dr. Colin Young is scheduled in the morning at 10:30am in
the education center at CBS, as Bermudian Landing Village where CBS is
located is his hometown. He will touch on protected areas and
conservation in Belize, his work in that area, and a brief history of CBS,
with his father
 Mid-day meal with Ms. Edna Baptist, Creole style prepared over the fire
hearth and served at her backyard café.
 Natural History museum tour, presentation on history of CBS
 Guided tour of sanctuary forest edges to view Black howler monkeys in
the wild with onsite lectures
 Return to Monkey Bay for dinner and over night
 Evening Lecture Pine savannahs and discussion of days activities

Day #3 down... I'm feeling pretty good about this WOE. I met a friend for dinner that I use to work with at Kindercare and I got something on the under 550 menu and it was 500 calories. So I actually stayed on program AND went out!

Kelly, *I* LOVE thrift shopping...always treasure to unearth. Funny thing, Oldest DD hates 'junk' shopping, but youngest adores it! How did I raise such opposites??

Slogged through work the last couple days, don't think I've caught up on my rest yet and fear I might have a bit of a bug...head and stomach 'off'...Glad it's not my weekend to work as I need a break!
Tomorrow morning should wrap up the holiday festivities as we're meeting with two sets of friends that were too busy to meet up the past couple weeks. Two birds one stone.
Have most of the Christmas stuff put away, but haven't gotten all the outside stuff yet because it's been so cold! Left a few strings of lights up in here just because they're pretty!

Haven't quite jumped fully back on plan as there just seemed to be too many leftover goodies just sitting out screaming 'eat me so I'm gone and can't tempt you anymore'......I figured it was a kindness to those sad, last cookies.

Though I AM very motivated to drop off these new pounds since all my pants are uncomfortable!
*gets duct tape to put over mouth*

Good morning-

DH is out for his Saturday morning run, the boys are still sleeping and its quiet here!

I know DS19 wants to go back to their favorite "retro video game" store before he goes to work this afternoon. He bought a game there just after Christmas and it doesn't work with our hybrid old system, so he wants them to test it and if it works, then he wants to try to find an NES so he can play NES MarioKart. (we have a 3 in one system that plays old games, but not all of the old games are compatible)
He has one more food stop he wants to make and that's "Tacos El Gordo" for cheap Mexican street food. That will be tomorrow since its the opposite direction from the video game place.

Kaye, both of my boys love "treasure hunting" (that's what they call thrift store shopping) They always find some real "treasures" DS19 has bought quite a few Hawaiian shirts there. Yesterday's trip got us a picture frame (me) to replace one that I broke, 2 VHS movies, a book, a cute penguin coffee mug (DS15) AND a new "poker night" shirt for DS19, which has to be just about the ugliest shirt I've ever seen. Its a Hawaiian Christmas shirt that has Santa drinking with his elves on it. DS19 is such a goofball.

I'm having a lazy day ~ played on the computer, watched Homeland, read part of a book, napped (I never nap!!) ~ it's been great!!!

Lemon fizzy and conversation was fun. I wanted to leave at 9:00, but it was after 11:00.

Day 4 under my belt. I really want to lose this weight. I'm so tired if not having stylish clothes and shop next Christmas for pretty things. I saw so many pretty things when I was Christmas shopping. And I want to get appliances cuz I want them and not cuz I don't want to have to return things cuz they don't fit and have to admit that it's too small.

Took a long nap and Bella over. Her mom and dad went to dinner and movie.

She is eating again and watching Thomas over and over. Thank goodness for on demand.

MK, we all need lazy days. I had half a lazy day. Did run and grocery shop, bank and fill my tank. Other then making dinner and folding laundry it has been very quiet here.

We will be up late. I don't expect them back till around 11.

My oldest son used to shop resale stores. Youngest likes them but not for clothes. Sarah his GF bought some Christmas decorations. He likes to look but I don't think he buys much.

Hope Cindy is having a good time.

Kaye, who can resist cookies? Do you have heated area for the chickens?

Off to watch more Thomas. DH puts it on every TV and the computer. She is back on the computer.
