Hey ladies! Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!

Scale is looking good, but I'm forcing myself to not post or log or divulge my weight anywhere daily, ONLY here each Friday. I'm still allowing myself to weigh daily (because it's a habit when I am on plan and I am a nut) but the only number that COUNTS is my Friday weigh in with you lovely ladies

I ordered a cheapy elliptical trainer online over the weekend, it was like $100 including shipping lol, so I know it's probably a POS, but I'm putting it right smack in the middle of the living room (sorry DBF! lol) and am DETERMINED to use it 30mins AT LEAST 3xs a week and to use my 7lbs dumbells to do some arm stuff a couple times a week too!

OK, back to work I go, have a great day everyone!!!

ETA- OMG I am in heaven!!!!!!!!!! I got the Stawberry Almond Atkins bars over the weekend and just tried one... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, also, i just won an auction with a TON of $1 off Atkins coupons and they expire 3/31- I will use the bar and the frozen meal ones, but does anyone want some of the shake ones? I got 20 and I'll probably use 5 tops, let me know!!

Love your post siggie. NOW is the time. I personally have to stop making excuses and make some realistic goals. Working on this now. Doing it for myself. I deserve it!!

And yesssss BL!!! And that Dolvett!!! *drools*
Dolvett is SEXY! I was talking to him on the TV last night like he could hear me. LOL.

Hope y'all's weeks have started well...Day 3 of training down. I am pretty much working on my own already, so I think I'm picking up most stuff so far.

I need to start tracking my meals again...thinking of joining WW so I can do meetings. We shall see.

Girls you are all doing great, so proud of you all!!!! Watch BL I find it very motivating, it is funny how everyone needs a push in a different way, see I like the yelling at me, others like Bob's soft approach, my trainer now isnt mean enough, LOL

So far so good, eating some rump roast I cooked and roasted veggies, turnips, fennel and onions, it smells delish!!!! I shoved no sugar or flour in my trap that is always a good thing, especially when my boss has candy everywhere!!!!!!

Jayce I joined WW for the accountability with weigh ins, food logging skillls and to learn to be able to trade off foods and make things work in the real world. I still eat fairly strictly anyway since I don't do sugar or wheat but I like the discipline...otherwise I don't have any.

I've never been a BL watcher, and I definitely don't need to be yelled at. I would fall apart.

Amber I love love roasted veggies!

Hi Sara, Portia and Janet!!

Been a long work day for me. I have a mexican feast planned for dinner with turkey taco meat, refrieds and fixins'. And a 5oz glass of pinot noir. All I have to do is hold off til dinner otherwise my 5oz may triple in size.

Sorry - I was so bad last night. We showed our autistic son (5'8" 108 lbs) how to make brownies from a mix. He was so proud of himself for making the recipe mostly by himself. I was proud of him too...

Unfortunately I had 2 large brownies, which he insisted that I eat. Back to square 1. Sorry about that. Was good today though.

Wow the weekend flew by...hope everyone had a good Monday. Today was busy busy. Back to the routine for us but my girls were so tired they begged dh to tuck them in bed before it was even 8pm. I've been doing good eating on plan. Today I even packed a lunch for myself to take to ballet. We stay after and have a picnic with the other homeschooling families. One of the moms was so shocked because she never sees me with anything but a diet soda. I made turkey and cheese lettuce wraps

Skatermom- that sounds like you needed to eat a brownie!!! No apologies you just get back on track!!!!

Beebug- sounds like you are doing well!!!

So what is everyone up to? I have been bad with getting up for the gym it is so cold and frosty, but need to just do it, I got spoiled with my little hiatus!

Small microwave fire this morning, good grief! I found these paperplates and I guess they had foil decoration in so my son was heating sausage and the plate caught in on fire, now I am having trouble getting the soot out of the microwave, I said that is what scares me about leaving him alone, he was sort of just standing there, I said dude you have to act! So we had a lecture and so on this morning, although I guess I should not have put those plates out!

Good morning everyone! Made it through the weekend and the pounds are dropping (I'm addicted to the scale). Always do so well the first week and then the challenge begins. Started "no wheat" on Friday and haven't had too hard of a time, but probably cause I'm still eating the sugar. Trying to coordinate it all within my WW points. Gonna have to work and find the right balance here for me...something that will work long term.

My favorite meal last night....salmon, sweet potato and roasted asparagus. I could eat that every night of the week. Amber, your veggie combo sounds delish.

Blonde...see you're incorporating WW and no wheat also. I've done so many different plans over the years that I get myself confused! Still trying to find the magic combination!

Have a good week all and looking forward to this week's weigh in.

Good morning, lovelies...hope your Tuesdays are going well. I'm on my own today b/c my trainer's kids are sick, so hopefully nothing major comes up since I've only had 2 days of training. LOL! I usually end up getting thrown to the wolves with minimal training in the last few jobs I've had, for some reason.

Weight is going down, thank goodness. I am still trying to work on water intake...that's always one of the hardest habits for me.

I don't know how you do it! I live in SoCal and I think I'm freezing in the morning...

Microwave fire is no way to keep warm... Glad it worked out okay!

We have a lot in common. I went wheat free well over a month ago (maybe more like two months) It was really hard for me. AND I love Salmon and sweet potatoes. I've been on a million plans. Someone I really respect told me me that I needed to find the 'sweet spot" in order to succeed. There's no magic. So I'm in search of the sweet spot and using WW to help me find it.

Good Morning, All-

Weight not starting to come off yet but I am eating right and exercising. My hamstrings and glutes (sp?) have been sore for about a week now. I'm ready for that to be gone.

I've eaten salad for the past two days and am not sure if I can do it again today. I may eat one of those Atkins frozen meals for lunch and then get back on salad for dinner. ( I made a HUGE salad Sunday.)

Carry On!

Cool! I just had the chicken pot pie one. It was good...just needs more meat!

Blonde...didn't realize you are so-cal like me I agree...it has been SO cold here. Much colder this year than last! I haven't bought myself much in the way of long sleeved things and the layering sweaters I thought would help me extend all of my summer tops just aren't warm enough. I wear them, but I just feel chilly all day long.

Witty- good to see you again, sorry about hubby glad he is doing better though!

OK I cant type on my phone I try to read at lunch and I cant see and cant type! So had the meatloaf, OMG it was so good but I was starving later, that ticks me off, I shoved in one Ritz cracker and said oh no I am not doing this!! So I had an atkins bar I love the peanut roll one that tastes like a payday!

Made taco salad meat tonight over salad, man nothing more delicious than that, packed an area that scared Tony more shoes in the laundry room, 4 containers, LOL So he will be surprised when he sees I did that, and now the laundry room door opens the whole way, LOL

So onward!!!!

Hi Ladies,
2f2f- WTG! Jillian is TOUGH!

Colleen- glad your hubby is doing better

Janice- Keep it up - that weight will move soon

Sk8ermom- Haven't you heard? Food made by kids has ZERO carbs!

Sounds like everyone is staying on track. I'm doing well with the workouts, did 1 hr elliptical then some sprint intervals on the treadmill tonight. Still recovering from my teeth- my mouth is really swollen inside and I can't chew. I've given up on being strict lc until I am able to eat meat again lol. Breakfast was yogurt, lunch was eggs and dinner was mashed potatoes.

Cindy- good luck with your surgery I forgot to mention that, I am sure you will have much relief after that, are you getting a uterine ablation as well? That should help with bleeding!

Wednesday yeah, hump day already this week is moving which is a good thing! Looking forward to the weekend, we are kid free, this happens once a month! So plan is to get lots done and meeting friends for dinner, he was going to cook, but I knew it would involve delicious stuff I cant eat so we are meeting at a restaurant that has a killer ceasar salad for me!

Oh, me too! I especially love salmon trout - similar to Arctic Char. We get it regularly here on Long Island and it has the salmon taste with a bit of a flakier texture. It's never farmed either, and is usually not insanely $$$. I could eat it every day.

Kirstyn - sorry about your mouth. It would be tricky to be strict LC when your teefs hurt! Hang in there.

Amber - what is it about Cesar salad? It just always does the trick when I am out and want something yummy and on plan. The crispy romaine, the tang of the dressing. So, so good. I think it's because it's one of those foods that's really hard to get "just right" at home. I could eat that every day, with my salmon, lol.

I had the Atkin's pot pie yeaterday and it was really good. I was so hungry two hours later though and need to start planning snacks if I eat those during the day.

I appreciate you guys sharing your opinions on the Atkins frozen dinners. I have three in my office freezer and plan on having one for lunch today. I'll share my thoughts on it.
