Had a great time at the Farmer's Market yesterday, even though I lost my stepper. Feeling lots of stress right now .... weather isn't looking very good for my outside event today. Calling for rain which will really effect the numbers. (Personally, I wouldn't go to a walk-a-thon in the rain.)

Amber ~ My whoosh fairy must be on holidays

Janice

Frankie

Danielle ~ Ouch, I hope you are feeling better soon

Hi Cindy! I LOVE walking in the rain... I'd do it if I was there!! DH and I have walked miles in the rain, it's fun. I hope lots of people feel the same way and show up for your lovely event.

Feeling somewhat better this morning after an entire day off my feet.. however, the day is just really starting so we'll see. DH was so sweet, he got up early to go to the grocery for me so I didn't have to hobble along

Finished the Chris Powell book and I am waaayyy overwhelmed by all the choices of foods and how this program works exactly.. spending today with my feet up and and an attempt at putting this thing together so i can get going with it this week.

Happy Monday and feeling extremely grateful that it didn't rain during my event and there was some sunshine

The actual number of "walkers" were done but the amount of money raised was up

Oh and a friend had an extra stepper that I can use while I am figuring out what one I want to buy.

Danielle ~ Do you sing while walking in the rain? Your DH sounds absolutely amazing and I'm glad that you are feeling better.

Amber ~ I'm looking forward to both of you sharing your knowledge for the rest of the team

Good Morning Ladies

Cindy- I'm so glad your walkathon was a success. I'm with Danielle - I love the rain too - especially on a hot day

Danielle- Awww, what a nice hubby. Hope you're feeling back to normal soon My dream is to run a marathon too. I was hoping to do a full one this fall but I think it will have to wait till next year. I do have a half marathon planned for Oct. and possibly another in Sept.

Frankie- I'm sorry about your bf's mom and that all the stress falls to you.

Blonde- Congrats on the loss

Jayce- Nice loss! What a great motivation to keep going

Amber- WTG on the loss! You will feel much better once you are able to take the time for yourself at the gym.

I'm down 1.6 this week. I think the changes to my diet are what helped me feeling better. Around the time I started feeling crappy I had changed my vitamins, protein shake brand and started using chia seeds. As soon as I changed it all back I noticed a radical difference. I will slowly add these things back in to see if I notice any changes.

Krystin~ Right now I would love to just be able to walk 5 miles But the definite goal is to run..even a half would be amazing.. SO proud of you with all your running so far, it's amazing!

Cindy~ I'm soooo glad that the event went well!!! Singing in the rain is the best! My hubby is total amazeballs. He spoils me absolutely rotten

Amber~ crazy how a few food lists can cause chaos in my head I'll figure it out..it can't be that hard, right?

-------------

My back is feeling better thank goodness...about to lose my head if I had to lay around another whole day! So much to get done that didn't this past weekend..behind on everything--laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning.. UGH!

Anywho, hoping everyone is off to a wonderful start to the week! Let's do it, girls!

Happy Tuesday, all...

Just ate some cottage cheese with pineapple chunks. That's becoming one of my favorite new snacks and lots of protein!

Hope your weeks have started well!

Haven't posted on here in ages, although I do come in and catch up on everyone's progress once in a while. I have been doing several plans now and then, sticking to nothing and actually weigh 3lb MORE than I did in January when you started this Amber!

I have been reading Chris Powell's book also (his first one) and actually started today with a low carb day. It takes some planning and preparation and a lot of figuring to get the calorie counts right, but I'm sure once you get into a routine it will become easier. Any hints anyone has to help would be appreciated!! I did post on the Chris Powell thread but don't know if there's many people there. Danielle...good luck with your start this week!

Amber....so glad your house wait looks like it's approaching the end. Can't even imagine all the stress you've been through with it all and your grandmother too. So glad she's home and doing better.

Hello, ladies! Hope you're all having a GREAT Friday. I, for one, am ecstatic that the weekend is almost here -- long week.

Cindy, the Bon Jovi concert sounds fun! He certainly has aged well, huh?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...mc&usp=sharing This should be the correct link...

I'm up a bit from last Friday, but I think TOM's here -- my body's been acting weird this week.

I'm up a bit this week
I've decided to start HCG - loading this weekend since it will be party after party and my 1st 500cal day will be Monday. I'm committing for 2 weeks in the hopes it will somehow reset my metabolism.
I also did my first spinning class ever on Thursday - it was spinning and weight lifting combined and kicked my a$$! It still hurts to sit

Have a great weekend ladies!

Kristyn~ Good luck with the hcg..I'll be interested to see how you do. I believe my metabolism is very messed up, what with perimenopause issues and all the yo-yo'ing I've done with dieting AWESOME about the spin class!

Cindy~ my stats are deplorable, so you're not alone sister friend! The concert sounds like fun!!!

Happy Saturday ~ Just finished volunteering for a few hours and I'm off to work (selling 50/50) .... good day other than a fight with DH but I'm not going to eat, it really won't help.

Kristyn ~ I hope the HCG works well for you.

Danielle ~ How are things with your new plan?

Hey girls, busy weekend, still trying to figure out this plan, not following it perfectly but watching what I am eating and exercising. It is tough to follow and eat every 3 hours at my job, I cant eat a salad in like a minute so sticking to a shake for breakfast and a big salad with chicken for lunch then some Greek yogurt or fruit for a snack, still have not lost any weight but was scared to weigh today!

Good morning, Honey Badgers! Hope you had a restful weekend.

Still a little bloated this way (lol) -- planning on drinking water all day and hitting the gym after work.

Danielle- Thanks for the encouragement! I'm excited to see your progress too. I Chris!

Cindy- WTG for not turning to food when you were stressed! Did you have a good weekend?

Amber- That would be hard to do at work. Maybe try bringing sliced veggies for snacks?

I'm down to 201.2 which is weird since I loaded -AKA binged - all weekend. I was stupid and went for a long run in the heat/humidity yesterday and probably lost 10lbs of water along the way (So I guess I still gained from loading lol). If hcg will plant me firmly back in onederland I will count it as a success

Ugh, so not going to be able to handle that new plan. I'm going to do what I know I love..going back to JUDDD. Implementing portions of Chris' plan, acceptable food list and the ideas behind exercise.. I just can't eat 5x a day..and I am so not a -in-the-kitchen-at-all-hours kinda girl..even if it is just a coupla times a week..

So now the focus will just be to get off as much as I can by October..my ideal woulda been 199 by then, but I don't know that that will happen..not with how slowly I lose.. I'll settle for anything remotely away from where i'm at now!

Danielle,
I'm with you on doing what you know. For me, LC is the one. I have to have a plan that I can use the rest of my life and LC is a pretty healthy one. Good Luck!

Hello Ladies!

After weeks of hem-hawing around I too am going back to what I know and what worked for me. I'm joining Danielle in JUDDDing. I will now call my down days "HEALING DAYS', for a more positive spin and reminder why I'm doing this. I hope you all are having a good start to the week.

You know, I once decided that since I can't seem to last on any WOE for longer than a week, my diet would be to change plans every week!
Don't ask me how it turned out, cause I couldn't stick to that one either!!

Girls, you made me laugh!

Lately my worst problem foodwise has been waiting until I am ravished to eat- My willpower just goes out the door. Drinking a cup of coffee w/ HWC seems to help sometimes but when the Devil whispers in my ear that eating something HC just this one time won't hurt (especially when I've had a little weight loss that day), I keep listening to him.

Have a good one!
