Hello all. I am home and getting back in the groove although today is my funk day with trying to get sleep sorted out. Have been quite hungry so I am eating but staying on plan. I did not gain during the weeks I was gone which is a success for me as I typically gain when I travel.

Cindy- Glad you had fun at the concert. Maybe this is the last of the snow for you.

Kristyn-Good to see you back. You'll shed those pounds fast with your workouts.

Jayce- That is great that the WW is working for you and helping you feel in control.

Amber- I hope all went well with the home inspection.

Yesterday was very spring like .... today is snowing like crazy.
Heart is on my concert bucket list glad you enjoyed it.

Frankie: That's awesome that you didn't gain weight while traveling -- that's something to proud of!

Yes, the WW app I'm using is helping me be more aware of portion sizes, etc. I did eat off plan last night b/c 3 sales reps took my coworkers & I out for drinks & dinner...we ate at this amazing Italian place called Bravo!. I had a creamy pasta b/c I probably won't go there any time soon...expensive! Glad I didn't have to foot the bill...lol!

Very frustrating that I can go up 2 pounds just looking at food and it takes weeks to lose it

Particularily when I've been exercising lots. Yesterday was 12,245 steps + 1 mile walking tape.

Home Frankie and that is so awesome that you didn't gain while away.

Jayce ~ Your dinner last night sounds

202.8 - down almost 3 since Mon.

Frankie- Sounds like your trip was a success! WTG

Cindy- I know it's frustrating, but keep it up! I know I tend to hold on to the weight more when I work out. Don't give up! Your body is just adjusting to more exercise - it will be worth it in the end.

Blonde- LOL @ scale swimming!

Jayce- Dinner sounds yummy - yay for not having to pay!

192.4 today. I will be refocusing on Sunday and pushing to have a good couple of weeks to drop some serious pounds by the end of the month.

Hey girls I will be MIA for a bit, my Nan fell on Fri, she is in the hopspital, broken hip and wrist at 91 she came through surgery though defying everyone, so I am asking for prayers, I know all of you that know me, know that my Nan is #1, so every minute has been at the hopsital with her, and will now be after work, etc! So maybe one of you can post the chart, in case I forget!!!!

Amber- So sorry to hear about your Nan. I am wishing her a speedy recovery. At her age it is difficult to be in the hospital so I know she will appreciate every minute you are there. It is also great to have a family member present as much as possible to advocate for the elderly and just to know and see what is going on. The nurses will give her extra special care knowing she is important to her family.

Welcome Glenda!

KT- I was at 199 when I left so I lost about 7lbs which is unusual for me as I ate a lot more than normal and I usually gain when I travel. I guess I got some exercise running around shopping and organizing the house.

Here's a pic of me working hanging artwork:

This is the first body shot taken of me since I have lost weight.

Back on the wagon ~ not weighing until Friday and I guess we will see how much damage I did this time. Good news is that I was only off the wagon for 1 1/2 days and I kept up the exercise.

Amber ~

Frankie ~ YOU look fabulous

I have been eating nice and clean this week. I have also exercised, yep, me EXERCISING. I had a small argument with my BF and I was emotional afterward which typically is bad trigger for me to eat a lot of off plan carby foods. So after feeling this way for a while I decided to do the opposite of what my emotions wanted and I went to the lake to walk. I also joined a Zumba class and went on Tuesday. Wow that was great exercise. I bought a pedometer and I made 10,200 steps that day. I am planning on doing the Zumba 3 days a week.

Thanks for the compliments on the photo. I hate having my pic taken and shy away from the camera as it usually tells the ugly truth that I don't want to see. Posting here is a nice soft spot to test out people seeing my body getting smaller. I can see the loss in that photo but still cannot see it in the mirror.

Cindy- Glad you came back after being off the wagon. It is hard but so often for me the mistake is not falling off the wagon, it is not coming right back and getting back on plan. I can blink and be off plan eating poorly for 6 months. Glad you are back at it. Never give up!

Amber- I hope your Nan is feeling a little better. Let us know how things are going for ya.

Phranique,
Thank you for posting about alternative solutions on emo-eating as that has been one of my downfalls too! I will try to head for the eliptical machine instead of the cupboard instead. Sure is hard to break old habits tho
