Good morning ladies. Checking in - 203 this morning; down 10 pounds in 11 days on the potato hack. No hunger! I can really see it in my face and waist (wish the hips would go down, they never seem to, LOL). People are noticing.
I registered for Ray Cronise's hypothermics blog, where I think the potato hack started. I'll read more, but I can't tonight. I'm going to crack in to the 100s soon!!! Last edited by Key Tones; 01-30-2013 at 08:53 AM.. |

![]() Sara & Janice - Sorry you're struggling Keep checking in, we all know it keeps us honest ![]() Frankie- Glad bf's mom is doing better. Still praying for you all. The scale has been moving for me too, despite the huge stress I'm facing again this week. I've been good with my workouts- Zumba on Mon and 1hr elliptical last night. |

Mama and Ceecee, thanks for your encouragement. I'm so used to the scales moving in a positive direction when I stay on plan but they are not cooperating this time. Trying to stay the course.
Frankie, glad for the encouraging news. Janice |

I am hanging in today, barely. Someone at the hospital dialed the phone for the BF's mom starting at 6am and she kept calling talking crazy and in Spanish yelling at me that I have done something to her son. Then the neighbor's dog bit me on the leg. Luckily I had on jeans so it only bled a little and it's just sore and bruised now. Now at the hospital the BF's mom is telling people she killed her husband because he cheated on her and told the young male phlebotomist that she was looking for a new boyfriend to do "stuff" with. She is also telling people we have abandoned her and nobody has been to see her in 5 days (I have been here 12 and 14 hours a day). Oy vey, what a day!
Amber- WTG with the trainer. Sounds like you found a great one who is really going to help you. If you are exercising that much you might not lose right away, take your measurements, I bet you'll be losing inches. You must be really firm to be in a size 12! KT- Amazing loss! I am thrilled for your loss and that you and other people can see the results. Hoping you get to onederland soon. Krystin- That is great that you are losing in spite of stress. I think stress is one of the hardest things to manage. Great job on keeping up with your exercise too. Janice- I know how hard it is to be on plan and not lose. I do find that my body does this for about a week a month. Hopefully you are in a pause where the inches are coming off and the scale will start moving soon.

I like potatoes, but plain they aren't so great. I do feel really good, though. Comfortable, not hungry. It is such a relief. THe ladies in teh JUDDD forum are posting recipes to make the potatoes palatable. One slices them and browns them on both sides then puts pizza sauce on them. I'm kind of afraid of trying that, but I might eventually. THe free the animal blogger shreds them then puts them in a waffle maker to make hash browns with just a brush of butter or something to keep them from sticking, then uses a little low sugar ketchup I think. THat actually looks good. I tried to do that with my George Foreman grill but it just doesn't get that hot. Someone else does it with one of those panini sandwich makers. THere are also oven fries. I haven't done that either, but i have done the microwave potato chips. I will probably try it all at some point. Anyway, thanks!!!

Thanks!
I just slice thin and put on a plate, microwave on high, 3 or 4 minutes, turn them over, then watch until they turn brown. Someone said to put them in the oven or microwave; I have no patience for the oven! |

Weigh in kids!!! Had upper arm blast with the trainer this morning, she didn't realize I was such an animal, LOL I said we don't need 5 or 10 pound weights!!! So a whopping 3 pounds lost in a month, geez I dont know what I gotta do to move that scale, but I am trying to not let it depress me, as long as I keep working out and running I guess things will keep getting tighter!
Have a good weekend, they accepted the offer on the new house, now to sit and wait again! Cindy- good luck on your surgery!!!! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...JY2lTNmc#gid=0

Great Morning HB's
286.4 I need more sleep.Down 4lbs for the month. About to rev up my IF for Febuary. And try to do a smaller eating window. By the afternoon(2pm) I am so stuffed so I think I am eating too much as well. So far I have been doing 6:18 but I want to make it a 4:20 over time. Good morning everyone! 268.2 this morning and I will take it, because this week it was my 30th birthday, and I wasnt so good that day, so I am surprised I lost anything!
This makes 15lbs lost in 4 weeks and I am so happy since this means I am actually sticking with it, exercising and not giving up like I did ALL.LAST.YEAR! Still gone to the gym most everyday (I am also studying for my nursing boards in less than 2 weeks, so that is taking precedence though!) and even though the scale may not be catching up with me, I have lost 2 freaking sizes!!! I tried on an old pair of 18s from Old Navy yesterday and the both ZIPPED and BUTTONED! I was so excited!! I havent fit in them since 2011 and it felt great! I barely took them off all day Good luck to everyone! The scale has barely creeped for me in 2 weeks so I understand the frustration! Way to go to all the losers!!

Happy Friday, everyone! I didn't weigh this morning -- will need to get scale to keep at my bf's house. I know my weight wasn't good the other morning.
I joined Planet Fitness yesterday evening, so I'm planning on going sometime after work. I'm restarting Couch to 5K training! |

I am down 3.2 lbs this week and 18 lbs for the month. Feeling like I can stay with the same routine for this month and see how it goes.
Amber- Congrats on the offer on the new house. Getting the house you want is so exciting. Fingers crossed all goes well. Sannie- Get back in here every day so we can support you! Chelsey- WYG on the 15lbs and dropping 2 sizes. That is fantastic! Kristyn- Wow, half a marathon in three weeks? That is a serious run. Good luck with with your planning. I will be interested in hearing all about it. Melanie- Great loss this week! Jayce- I am looking at starting the C25K when I hit 199. Let me know how you like it. |
