Day 4 no weight loss tomorrow is the last day of induction so 11 lbs total wouldn't be all bad

Hi,
I made a couple cauliflower crust pizzas for dinner tonight and they turned out pretty yummy but my crust needed work too. The recipe I used was from One Good Thing but it definitely needed to cook longer, probably on a rack, to dry out more. I ended up cooking the slices in a dry skillet and it helped but next time I'll try baking it on a rack after the first bake/cool before adding toppings.

My first week back to lc has been pretty good. I lost a bit over 7 pounds and feel great. It's wonderful to feel free of the carb beast. I'm going to visit my mom tomorrow for a long weekend so this will be a test for me because when I was struggling with staying lc last year I would always falter at my mom's house and end up binging on all the sugary goodies in her pantry. I feel invincible to temptation right now though so I know I'll make good choices... Will just go grocery shopping when I get there.

What are you all doing this weekend?

I think mine needed either more mozzarella or another egg it was very good but definitely needed a fork. No way was I able to pick that up. Perhaps just longer cooking time ...
Weekend plans include seeing my mom too. Saturday night out with friends. Always a challenge but if I am designated driver I can avoid overheating. Works well for all involved

Day 10 for me and only down a little over a lb. But I'll take it. I'm back going to the gym and home exercises when I can't and that some time slows my loss until my body adjusts. WTG all you losers, looks like everyone is off to great start for the new year. I can't believe all the diet and exercise plans that they've been showing on tv.

Hi all!
Really disappointed with the scale. Gained a pound 2 days ago and lost nothing yesterday and this morning lost the pound, so essentially lost nothing for a couple days now. Haven't been eating anything I shouldnt so not really sure what's going on. Still going to keep at it. I havent been eating as much as i should be. In the morning I am happy with just coffee, so I don't eat until after 11. Going to try to make myself eat breakfast. Had 4 slices of bacon this morning. Lunch is a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, chicken and bleu cheese.

I haven't said too much about my weight loss at work (I work with mostly men), and it was so funny when I was leaving work yesterday. This kid I work with was asking me if I've done something with my hair and wouldn't believe me when I said no. He kept telling me I look different. I didn't say anything, but I kept thinking "well, maybe it's the 27 pounds I've lost since October".

Still going good here. Things are crazy busy. I am down 5 pounds for the week though!!! Yeah! I am a daily weigher and I keep track of it in my phone.....every day. I am hoping that for the days that I do happen to gain a pound for whatever reason *we all know it happens* that I can look back and look at overall loss for the week.

Great Job Ladies! Lets keep the motivation going!!1

I weigh daily also! And today I weigh 147.8 because yesterday I ate too many "low carb" calories. And can not lose weight unless I keep my calories under 1000. I went back over my week (Friday-Friday) and saw the fluctuation of caloric intake and BAM! yesterday was a calories laden day over 1600!

I'm a daily weigher too. Actually I have a daily weigher thread on here that I started over 3 years ago. It keeps me so accountable. Well finally down to 133.3 this morning. So happy that the weight is finally coming off again.

Susan I like weighing in daily and I keep a written journal to find out what caused my gain. I don't count calories but I do find certain foods that cause a gain. Especially if it's high in sodium.

Mommy wtg that's a nice loss. KUTGW

Snow 27lbs is a big difference, I'm sure someman will finally get it. It takes them awhile.

Lory what's a cream cheese cloud, I love cream cheese.

Happy Friday Everyone! One week into Low carbing and I feel much better! Don't have huge "cravings" anymore, so that's a relief! I went to the gym yesterday and am on my way there in a few....however it is my TOM and I am feeling bloated and a little sluggish...and two days of not losing weight. I'm hoping it is because of my TOM and "this too shall pass". I'm reading the book "Wheat Belly" by Dr. William Davis, a cardiologist. It is very enlightening and sure explains lots of symptoms I've been having. Hoping I can keep on losing! My dd's wedding is the end of May and I really would like to look and feel so much better. Have to go dress shopping too, and I can't put that off til May. Not looking forward to that until I start losing more weight though. Hope everyone has a great weekend and hoping to keep losing weight. I'm hoping going to the gym will help get things on the move again!

I'm visiting my mom and in the past I would always go way off the lc wagon at her carb- laden house. This time that will not happen but what has amazed me is the sudden waves of temptation that have hit me out of nowhere while here. The moment I first walked in the door it hit me and again when I first woke up this morning... this sneaky internal voice that I barely recognize telling me to go to the kitchen and eat every bit of sugar and carbs there NOW NOW NOW! I'm so grateful that I've read Brain Over Binge and can recognize that lower brain animalistic voice that is simply the result of some wiring in my noggin that resulted from my past behavior of binging at my mom's house. And since I know what's happening, it's suddenly easy to ignore the prompting of that very loud voice and dismiss it like junk mail. Wow. It's kinda trippy actually and I'm amazed that I can so effortlessly not binge. I know it's got a lot to do with being in ketosis. I feel like if I never take the first sugary bite then I never have to fight the real battle with temptation.

Finally losing again. Down 2 lbs this morning, definitely put me in a good mood today. Went out with friends last night and had a chicken Caesar salad and a couple of raspberry vodkas with club soda. And i picked all of the croutons out of the salad. Hubby just started weight watchers so he's now watching what he eats too, which helps.
Keep it up ladies!

Hi all!

I'm just checking in. Still hanging on! . Been going to the gym and my food has been really good. I'm not getting on the scale because its TOM and I know I'm bloated.

Keep on keeping on!

Checking in, the scale is finally but very slowly moving. I love to see a nice drop but I'll take it slow and steady if need be. Was down to 132.3 today. I so like to get to the 120's by Feb 1st.
