Bit of a rough weekend Sat night went out with some friends who I have not seen in over 10 years, had 2 drinks, and a bit of popcorn. I never drink so I had no idea what to order, but definitely not beer. I had 2 of a drink called orange creamscicle. The scale was down this morning, but it could catch up with me, so wait and see. Today I was EXHAUSTED all day, I did not eat off plan, but I do feel I ate TOO much. I made a low carb casserole and I just kept eating. It is TOM and I was feeling tired and stressed and that is definitely a past trigger where I would eat a bag of chips. So I see an improvement in myself, but still need to do some work. Tomorrow is a new week! Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Mind if I join you ladies, I sure need support and accountability this new year. I finally found a plan that was really working for me and went down to 124 after months of not losing at all. Then last month I went back up to 135. So frustrated with myself on regaining. I live on a beautiful lake and would love to wear the new bathing suit that I bought last year, and still haven't worn. Read back from the beginning of the thread and it looks like your all doing great and very supportive.

Doin Okay I guess last Monday I weight 161 but tuesday I went to 160. Guess What I weight today--160!! That sounds about right, I have been losing around 1/2 a week or bouncing back!! Keeping fingers crossed that the scale will keep goind down. Anyhow workout today was the firm-total muscle shaping 50 min, and eating has been good.
ALso I watche Biggest Loser last night, that is inspiration for me. I know the show is tough but if they can do it so can I, just a different way!! I think they do low fat/low cal-not for me!! |

![]() I had a bad workout this morning, and I went into it knowing it was a bad idea. I had a doctors appt this morning and had to have blood drawn, so it was a fasting appointment. That was at 8:30, then went to the gym. I managed to get in a back and bicep workout but lasted less than 10 minutes on the treadmill. I was HUNGRY!! So i had some food and feel much better I felt so icky when i left the gym, i almost went through a drive-thru just to get some food in me.The doctor was super pleased that I managed to lose weight over the holidays/death of my stepdad, he said he would have given me a pass if i put a couple pounds on But, weight is going down, blood pressure is down and we'll find out about cholesterol and blood sugar tomorrow. Have a good day everybody! |

I was doing ok but today was almost an issue. TIRED and when I got home I was tempted
I forgot to bring my supplements with me too work AND forgot to take my first dose this morning That might have been the issue. I didn't indulge but wow how easy it was for my brain to momentarily flip into that frame of mind. UGH! |

Hi ladies!
I love Biggest Loser. It makes me motivated and I always cry when I watch because I know how the contestants feel. Love Bob! I would definitely want him to be my trainer. This morning weight check was down 2 ozs. Not what i wanted but at least its a loss. I was so motivated today that I went for a walk with my boys, ages 7 and 3, before I made dinner. It was really cold, but felt great. I'm going to try and take walks as much as I can, and the boys love it too. Had a hardboiled egg and coffee with half n half. That was around 11 so I wasn't hungry for lunch. Dinner I made broccoli cheddar soup, and i used half and half and a cup of milk so that had more carbs than i wanted. Still under my daily limit though. Keep up all the good work! |

Hi all Monday was okay I spent from 8:30-1:30 volunteering at a local cat rescue. I was there by myself and I did a LOT of work, there is about 80-100 cats there and it's a ton of cleaning!!! I also schlepped a ton of carriers, laundry, and litter boxes down stairs. Anyway that was my activity for the day, it's a lot of work!
Eating was okay, except I should have had some protein before leaving this morning. As it is I only had a coffee then came home at 1:45 and had a few pieces of chicken and a fat bomb. I made some bacon later on, spent $6 for 12 oz of uncured, organic bacon...oh my so delicious wish it wasn't so $$. So I ate some bacon and for dinner I made a hamburger, onion, cabbage stirfry with some soy sauce. I made sure not to over eat and have a nice big container of left overs! Tomorrow I am volunteering again, but other people will be there so it won't be so long. I am going to make sure to eat some breakfast before I go. I weighed this morning, but I honestly don't remember what it was!!! I will drink lots of water tonight, because dinner was a little salty. Hope everyone is good. For pizza fix I make pizza topping casserole, just sauce on bottom of casserole dish, then layer cheese and toppings and bake until bubbly and browned, so GOOD! |

I do not normally drink much after 7pm, this might be what contributed to my upswing today. I think it could be the salty taco meat also. Or just my body saying ENOUGH FOR NOW. I had the carb flu yesterday. Felt nauseous, lethargic, dull. Family got chinese on a whim, and I indulged. I've been so good for the last three months (minus Christmas and Turkey Day), and my body can't process all that crap. No more. I felt so much better today eating back on plan. 20 lbs or bust by April 18th, and no more chinese take-out.

Luca - I do feel better. I try to stay positive, because I get frustrated that I run so SLOW. And I am doing the C25K program to build up to actually running continuously. But it is nice to be running again and I hope to maintain the workouts to complete the program. My son wants me to run a 5K with him in Feb. I'm hoping to to do that, even if I do run the intervals and not run continuously throughout the entire 5K!
Snodancer - I HATE the carb flu...blech! I am glad you are back with determination! Garden - Congrats on the loss! I like the idea of evening walks. Also, I try not to eat after about 6 or 6:30 pm anything, not just snacks. Jan 2: 185.2 (SW) Jan 3: 183.6 run intervals 1.8 miles Jan 4: 182.2 Jan 5: 181.2 run intervals 2 miles Jan 6: 180.0 Jan 7: 179.6 run intervals 2 miles Jan 8: 180.4 Jan 9: 180.2 (run scheduled for tonight - date with the treadmill) Menu Yesterday: B: Coffee, HWC, CO & Splenda, L: 12 medium wings w/ 2 1/2 oz ranch D: 2/3 of OMM and 2 T cream cheese S: 3 (whole) devilled eggs 10 8oz cups water - I did cut back on the water consumption after 6PM, but I think the extra food (read wings ) sabotaged a bigger weight loss. I'll take .2 though Goals: 155 by May 24 (Sexy for Memorial day weekend) 145 by July 26 (Sexier for week off in July/Aug) Last edited by LoriAS; 01-09-2013 at 05:40 AM.. |
