Didn't weight this morning. Yesterday I was 175, but I hadn't eaten hardly anything the day before-wasn't feeling well. So yesterday I ate like a hog. All I wanted was fat, fat, and more fat. Maybe it's the weather too. It's been way below zero every morning. Gotta try to stay out of the fridge today. I'm making hardboiled eggs right now, and I'm going to make egg salad and eat it while the eggs are still warm for breaky. Maybe roast a chicken for dinner. I've got cauliflower that needs to be steamed too.

biochic congrats on the 10lb weight loss..good incentive to keep up the good work.

i was just typing a reply and i dont know where it went or what happened..so i will attempt again...i feel like crap today. dont know if its real flu or induction flu. leaning toward real since i have a cough and sneezing..body aches and tired...i am going to up my vitamin c and get some cold eezz..
dont know what i will eat today yet..some chicken broth for sure..will post later..

Hi all!

Went to the gym this morning and did 35 minutes on the treadmill. Also weighed myself. 323.8. I'll take it considering it was 328 on monday

I went on a total carb bender yesterday morning, but cleaned it up the rest of the day. So far today I've had coffee with hwc and I've got a hamburger party (typo and it stays!) And a salad in the works right now.

I am trying to remain positive too and just be happy that if nothing else my eating is under control and I am feeling so much better.

Hello all! Today was a big day, my little girl London turned 1 today! We had a little party with pizza and wings and chips and a veggie tray. I stayed on plan and had no pizza. Only ate the wings. Had 4 and I was full. Also had some cucumber slices and celery with a little blue cheese. Had coffee throught the day with just half and half.
My only bad thing today was eating 2 bites of birthday cake. I made her a banana pudding poke cake and I was great all day, but when it came time to clean up, I ate the last 2 bites off of a plate. But at least that little taste was enough and I stopped after that.

This morning is was down another pound, at 232. That's keeping me motivated! Keep up the good work everyone!

I realized today I'm getting complacent about my eating. This always happens. I'm halfway through to goal,and I start nibbling here and there, thinking "just a little won't hurt". I was thinking this today while I was eating Chipotle chips and salsa. I've got to buckle down and get back on track or I'm going to start sliding backwards instead of towards goal.

This is the end of my 3rd day of Low Carbing! I didn't weigh myself the first day....I was afraid that the shock of how much I weigh would make me feel hopeless instead of determined and then I'd postpone starting. But between the 2nd and 3rd day, I lost 2.2 lbs. I know it's water weight and I notice the decrease of edema in my lower legs, but I'm happy about that! Just need to keep on moving forward and losing more and more weight.
I think I'm going to start a food journal. I know that when I have good (weight loss) days, I'll want to remember what I ate - and when I have disappointing days, I'll want to remember what might have jeopardized my weight loss. Anyone else keep a journal?

Michelle- it definitely helps to keep a food journal.
Lori- awesome job! I really need to drink more water. I'm only drinking maybe 5-6 8oz glasses a day, with about 4 cups of coffee a day. I know I need more water.
Susan- excellent! A brisk walk on a cold day really gets the blood moving.

Weighed this morning and down another pound. Looks like I'm losing a pound a day. Love that.

Michelle I started a journal on this site. It really is helpful. Not only do I track my food but I can track my mood, motivatin, hunger etc.

Hello evrybody I did not weigh this morning, will in the morning (Monday is my tracking day in my personal journal anyway). Like most I have a food/weight journal in my kitchen by the fridge/mircowave-when I think about eating off plan I try to remind myself not to by the journal. Any way I did yoga/pilates/fusion this morning-Barefoot Cardio with Ellen Barrett 45 min-I feel so engerized/relaxed/streched after this type of workout. Eating has been pretty good.

Busymomma-great job staying away from that Pizza, My sons Bday was in December we had a pizza party and he wanted me to make him a REAL red velet cake like I use to (in his words) NOT LC> LOL. I too stayed away from the pizza and cake but boy did it smell/look good!!LOL!!

LC is the ONLY thing that ever gets my bingeing under control so I'm starting fresh today - my husband is leaving for 8 weeks today and I figured it's a perfect opportunity for me to spend some time focusing on myself and getting myself healthy. I think some do everyday and some do weekly. I weigh most days but just post/journal weekly. But you could probably do whichever!!

I weigh daily. Old habits die hard.

Welcome healthy wife!! 8 weeks?? Yikes

Nikixie. How do you feel?? you go girl!!!

I've made an executive decision and I've narrowed my challenge thread to 2 down from 3. Binge free and sexy by summer are my goals so these work great for me!!

Day 10 no additional loss for me.
