Today was okay, I spent the morning at the cat rescue I volunteer at so that was my excercise, I cleaned cages, mopped floors, washed dishes, etc. etc. Before I left I had my coffee but I wasn't too hungry because my stomach was a bit sick last night. I am on antibiotics and they are starting to kick me in the gut, I have started taking some Culturelle
When I came home I colored my hair and then had lunch which was one of Linda's recipes that I had made last night and I had 2 meatballs that I also made last night. That was good to eat. Later on I had another coffee (I make my coffee with Stevia and LC) an antibiotic and a slice of deli ham. But then my stomach was a bit sick again from the antibiotic. Not sure that I will have much for dinner but maybe a couple meatballs with some Parm sprinkled on top and definitely some water, my gut is hating me right now. I was down 1.6 pounds on the scale this morning I was 244.4 that is a new "low" for me in this journey. I weigh every day so I know it fluctuates, but I always get a little excited when I see a new low number I haven't seen yet! I had previously gotten down to about 200 about 5 years ago so I am looking forward to that again! Carry on!
Oh I also have a little personal goal of hitting 239 by Jan 21st which is my 34th b-day so I'm working on that too )))

Great job Em. I love new low numbers too. We work hard for them

Susan- I know how frustrating it can be and I'm sorry you stumbled. Tomorrow is another day! Can you get that stuff out of the house or do other people eat it with no problem? What about changing where the snacks are kept? Years ago my dad quit smoking using a program called "Smoke Enders". The first thing they told people to do was to change the place they kept their cigarettes so that they had to think about actually reaching for them
I know I go on autopilot when heading for the snacks. Maybe try making them a little less accessible?

hello all...i also struggle with junk food in the house...i have stopped buying as much as possible. however my husband and 2 adult children 24 and 22 do not do low carb..so they end up bringing in things that i no longer purchase..like the chinese food last night..my kids try to eat somewhat healthy..dd came home with 3 different kashi cereals since i am no longer buying it..i do buy bread for them to have sandwiches.. bread does not bother me..its the tortilla chips and chocolate mostly..none of that in the house right now thank goodness.

I've haven't been measuring inches, so I will start doing that. My weight now is 135.

Posting my menu per request!

B: Jay Robb Protein Shake made with one scoop, 2 tablespoons HWC, water, ice, 1/2 tablespoon cocoa (could that be stalling me?)

L: Ground beef meatballs (homemade) with 2 tablespoons of also homemade tomato sauce, sprinkled with parmesan, broccoli and lettuce

D: Hamburger no bun, asparagus (or other green veggie)

I use a little SF Heinz ketchup with it. No more than a tablespoon ever. 1g carb per tablespoon.

Dessert: Tiny bit of HWC whipped with sweetz-free (0 carb sucralose)

Thanks everyone! Feel free to critique it

May I join? I accomplished my holiday goal to get to 180, which was a loss of 22 lbs since October 1st. Now I've set a goal of another 20 lbs before my birthday on April 18th. BTW, love the name of the thread!

Hi all so far so good, stomach is better today (knock on wood) had 2 eggs with some real bacon bits added cooked in 1/2 tsp of coconut oil and coffee for breakfast, about to go find something for lunch I'm thinking tuna and have a london broil in the crockpot for dinner, I will make some broccoli to go with. The scale was at 243.6 today another low for me, so I'm completely happy. Going to get in at least a couple bottles of water this afternoon, I feel DRY from the winter! Hope everyone has a good FRIDAY!

Yay Susan! Those outdoor walks in brisk weather do wonders! I am in MD. too and haven't been out to walk today, but hubby and I got a nice long one in yesterday. I don't mind the cold that is invigorating, but the wind is a no-go for me.

Wow good memory, Frederick is right. We have had snowfalls of just 3-4 inches twice this year. Enough for me I hate it!

Hi everyone. I am not in MD. . Freezing my butt off up in NY.
Day 8 of induction and down 10 lbs. I know the weight loss is going to slow down the second week but I am enjoying seeing the scale move!

Biochic: I'm in NY too, upstate by Albany. Absolutely cold right now with about 8 inches of snow on the ground. I woldnt mind taking a walk and my kids enjoy that, but its just a little too cold for my infant daughter .
Weighed this morning, down another pound. 4.5 lbs since Tuesday. I'll take it.
Had coffee this morning with half n half.
Couple slices of deli ham rolled up and a cheese stick.
Lunch i had tuna with mayo and chopped celery.
Dinner was pepperoni and cheddar slices.
Snack was a small bowl of cottage cheese with splenda and vanilla.

I cant seem to drink enough water throughout the day, then by the time I finish dinner I'm so thirsty i gulp down 2 glasses standing at the sink!

Momma-I'm just outside of NYC but still a really cold week here. Warming up for the coming week though thank god.

J- I'm still on induction so the weight is flying off. I'm sure things will slow down this 2nd week. But I do love seeing the scale move. Really helps keep me motivated!!

Have a great day everyone
