Got hit by the binge monster in the grocery store yesterday and had some stupid things in my cart but ditched them before check out and had a reasonable substitution when I got home so finished the day okay.

I felt a binge twinge after my supper of tilapia (sauted in butter so I don't get it, usually if I have butter I am ok) this evening.
I made a little HWC and strawberries.

AND THEN I STOPPED. There is more HWC and more berries. BUT I STOPPED.
So glad for this challenge.

Tomorrow will be day one.
but I am starting NOW.
The same thing got me that has gotten me during the past when eating low carb.
RECIPES
I know I have to stick to meat, eggs, veggies, cheese, butter.
I know that every single time I think I am on my way and commited and strong I start to believe that I can be like many others and eat 'carbalikes', treats, sweet tasting things. I can not I can not
This time it was Cream Cheese Clouds.
I promised myself that if they became a problem I would pitch them.
They did
I didn't.

Just joined

Hi, I've been on low carb meals for about 2 years. Lost some 40 pounds and just seemed to stop losing but holding my own, but now I am slowly and surely gaining it back. Besides when I started this eating plan I wanted to lose some 50 pounds so I never even made my goal! Anyway, I want to get back in the saddle again before things get out of control so I'd love to join in with this challenge. I've never joined a support group like this so it will probably take me a while to get with the swing of things. Don't hesitate to share some guidelines with me because I'm very open to suggestions.

Well, I blew it last night...bad! We had friends over and I had a plan to stay on my plan, but I didn't do it. I got into all kinds of sweets that are always my downfall. I couldn't even weigh myself this morning. BUT, I am back on plan with a JUDDD DD today. I'm not starting over till my 30 days are up. So for me:

Sun, 1/27 - 27 of 30 days binge free (for first 28 days of challenge).

Binge opportunity forgone

I have to share that I went to the Melting Pot last night (my besties and I do it annually as a holiday treat) and did NOT overindulge. I'm so proud of this because that's kind of "what you do" at the Melting Pot. Obviously I knew in advance we were going so I prepped. In years past I always worked out intensely and tried not to eat all day. THIS year, I had my normal coffee with HWC and chicken salad over lettuce for lunch. I truly think this helped me to eat well at dinner. Now don't get me wrong, I had a yummy martini, a few dips of bread in the cheese, and some of the dessert course, but it was all controlled! We actually left behind about half of our dessert dippers! I also left not feeling like a stuffed animal What's probably most important though, is that I hopped back on plan this AM. This WOE def works for my portion control.
