Trying hard to get back at it today. Have only eaten meat & eggs so far. I will have a small 1 cup salad tonight with dinner per Atkins 72.

I do not keep the binge foods in the house, I drive to get them. I went to the store today and bought 2 small memo flip page books and plan to write out all my motivations/reasons for needing to lose weight and not binge. I will carry a set with me at all times. I got this idea from the Beck diet workbook which is a six week plan that I hope to incorporate fully soon, but right now I will just make the cards.

I don't really know what works anymore, but I do know that the only time I was successful in not binging for 6 months was when I ate very little carbs. I don't know why it stopped working, I just remember getting very depressed and one binge led to another and now here I am again trying to stop the craziness. I don't understand myself what I want more than anything is to retire and travel with my DH in good health, but yet I seem to fail miserably at making any lasting changes. I am hoping that the cards I am working on will help.

I was binge-free for 2 weeks and completely blew it today. I have to stop JUDDD. I tried 3 times to do JUDD in past 14 months and each time my body rebels with binging

A lot of ED people have trouble with IF, includimg myself. Insanity keeps sending me back to try again. That is what I was doing when I blew it. Dont beat yourself up. Marika.

We have all heard the definition of insanity...doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Based on that definition, I have been insane around food for amgood part of my life. Today I do the same thing over and over and expect the same results because this works for me. I am in the maintenance mode, staying right around -55 day in and day out, so long as I don't binge, or pick up the first compulsive bite or eat off my foodplan today. It is a gift that I thank God for every day. I feel blessed that I am a compulsive overeater and food addict or I would not have found the peace I have today.

Feeling pretty restless. Not centered- work, home- no restful place for the last few days. This feeling is a trigger for me. I am staying strong but the urge to medicate with food is very strong😞

It never goes away completely. It just lies in wait for a moment of weakness and vulnerability....

Pfffft... had been binge free for 3 weeks but a bit of good news yesterday and I was buying Doritos and chocolate and sat munching away thinking WTH????

Feel absolutely rubbish about it and what's more I vowed I'd confine in my OH if I binged again but can't bring myself to tell him :'( x

Since last report I have shelved the struggle so to speak. No restricting, no binging, no plotting, planning or obsessing at all. Just wanted to see what would happen if I just let go of the battle with all things food related. Have not even checked the scales. So I am not counting anything either. Will use my pants to decide if I need to stop the experiment.

B yogurt and strawberries
Mid morning shrimp skewers
Lunch strawberry feta salad
Mid afternoon snack kielbasa , yogurt

Ugh.... Not a binge but way more food than I have had in a long time. Planned clams for dinner. No room left
