Today had a tenative start as I was just sooo hungry after a pretty low cal day yesterday. I basically grazed, but chose all on plan foods, instead of eating a separate breakfast and lunch. I stopped at 12:30 with fully half my daily calories left for dinner. I think I needed the nutrition and am happy with the way it turned out but realize it could have been a binge if I chose different foods. 14 down. Today on the way.

Great to hear Marika! That is the attitude I am striving for a little bit of an indulgence does not need to lead to a binge, or the feeling that I have failed for the day.

Finishing out day 8 here.

I have to admit I am getting hungry but am afraid to change anything at this point.

Well done Marika, I ate a whole tube of Pringles today - not my best move but like you wont call it a binge because I was fully aware of what I was doing and that was all I had.. didn't have lunch so that will probably fit in with my calorie goal for todays UD x

The last binge I had was July 9, 2011. I just finished the most exhausting week from hell emotionally. But I kept saying to myself the Serenity Prayer and to remind myself, I eat 3 meals a day with nothing in between. I eat what I plan. The problems I had this week will be solved eventually and eating over them will not make them better. If I ate after all was said and done, I would have two problems, the initial problem and I would feel like crap for having eaten off my plan. In AA they say, No matter what, don't drink, so that is what I say, no matter what, I won't eat what I don't plan to eat. My life depends on it.

I blew it too, Jeanie. Have had pizza cravings fir a couple days but actually ate 14 brazil nuts and 2c rice with butter for lunch. Knew it was a binge while eating the second cup rice and finished it off.

Man I couldn't feel any lower. Milkshakes, cookies, cupcakes, ice cream. I feel ill and so sad. Gonna try Atkins 72 tomorrow.

Sorry to hear this sweetie Definitely try the 72 version. I am feeling much better eating VLC. Despite of having Wednesday as my carb-up day I was back to protein only yesterday. In the evening I was again eyeing the chocolate DH was eating but was able to pass. I feel that the longer I stay low carb the easier it gets for me.

Cici, this would never qualify as a binge in my dictionary
I go by the mental state. I was stffed, kneww I was overeating and just kept eating until I felt sick and guilty. It was gluttony and a binge. Another time or anorher person the same amount of food might be okay.
