So glad we didn't get all the snow they were calling for last night. But it so windy and cold. Going to make today a cleaning day. Already made nice little shepards pies for dinner. Just love a nice warm dinner on a cold day. Doing mine with sweet potatoes instead of regular.

Laura how you feeling today, hope your throat is better.

Deb I think when you pick out your reader, it is a good idea to check and see what it intails. My 1st kindle was just a reader and couldn't do anything else. My new kindle is kinda like a mini comp. So it really depends on what L/B wants to use it for.

Cheryl have fun working, I got another day off Sounds like a fun day with your Mom on Thursday. Did they finally getting all the things fixed?

Pat wish our gym had challenges, it would get me motived to go on cold days. Put a friend just gave me a bunch of different exercise DVD and I've been trying those on days I don't go to the gym. Did yoga for 3 days and now I'm going to try the pilates. Is there a big differnce between the 2?

Hi,I didn't go missing things have just been nutty! :Saturday I got sick with the stomach flu from Hell that is going around and could barely keep water down. By Monday I was better only to get to work to find out most of my staff were sick too. All my cooks were down for the count so I spent all day yesterday revamping my cooking skills and feeding the hospital. I forgot how hard work that is, not use to moving for 8 hours straight plus it was a busy day as well. Today came in and only had 1 staff here , no cook and missing one aid. But we did get a Cook on days off to come it finally and things worked out. It just seems like one thing after the other! Its -50 windchill out, the truck if frozen up, the skidooes are frozen up and I feel like I am frozen up. This has been going on for awhile now and its not suppose to break until the weekend. I can't wait!!! Cheryl yes I am a pretty yellow now Hope your all having a better time of it then I am. Flordia has never looked so good

Jo flu is all around here too. Glad your feeling a little better. But with all the staff sick you must be exhausted. The wind has been horrid today too. I'm even running my faucet just to make sure it doesn't freeze up. We've had that happen alot. And takes forever to thaw.

Deb gl on a cleanse, I'm with Cheryl no cleanse for me either. yikes.

Cheryl my neighbor thinks she still has some John Standford Prey books so going to go over to see before I start ordering them. Can't wait. Do you order reg. books or down load them to a form of tablet.

Jo I hope things calm down. You're having one rough weekyellow huh? At least your colorful while your sick. I hope you can relax once you get home. It sounds miserable cold. We are mostly in the 40-50 range lately with an occasional dip into 30's. very nice for Jan. Do you bring food home for dinner ? You have earned Florida!

Deb everyone I know with a Kindle loves it. Especially if you get wifi one.

Misty I have a Sony reader I can't find. But I have a Tablet too. I may just start using it. I get a lot of my real books at second hand stores. I have one I hit when we go to Texas that bundles 5-6 together and charge $3-4. Another one in Tulsa that marks a lot of them down 75% or they give you a bag to fill for about $5. I stock up when we go to either of those.

We are health thank goodness. We all got our flu shots and I haven't had a cold or stomach bug this year

I caught the tail end of BL. They have been replaying on the weekend . We were at Moms putting in a new Thermostat. While we were there she mentioned the igniter on her new gas stove is only working part timethe alarm company will be there tomorrow to get the security system up and running again.

Misty it sounds miserable cold there too. Deb what's it like there?

Girls!! Sorry I've been MIA!! I took a break from the whole "diet" thing and the online time absorber.

I'm up to 157 (actually that's down from this weekend's indulging!!) and back at the gym at least 3 times a week. I'm tyring JUDDD and hope it'll help me back into the 140's.

I miss you guys, and am glad you're carrying on and doing so well!! I'll try to be back on more often .

It depends what she needs. She is wanting to look at some more furniture so we will probably hit those stores. We use to do the Mall but her leg won't put up with that anymore. Before the tornado we spent one day a week just running around and hitting the sales and eating out. One of the things I miss. Now we go in much shorter bursts. Otherwise she hurts too much or gets too tired.

Do you have yoga pants? what type of yoga are you doing?

Wow we are in a deep freeze. Got up this morning and it was -16 and it's still -5. Can't wait until next week, the say it's going to be warmer.

Julie glad your back, we missed you too. Sometimes we just need a break to reajust and get things going again. Did that plenty of times. I hear alot on here saying great things about Judd. Hope it works for you too.

Cheryl the word taxes makes me start to think spring New furniture for your Mom sounds nice. Sounds like maybe she going to start enjoying making her new home hers. Remember when we were talking about how I got my floors. Well my printer quit and DH was going to go get a new one and then my neighbor said you can have mine it's brand new still in the box, oh ya happy me. Bring it over today can't wait to see it.

Deb we carry Nike everywhere. You better tell L/B when you go to get more that you need at least 2 new ones

Good for you!! I'm trying to get an external CDRom so I can load the turbotax disk I bought!! Not working, or fun, so far!!

I had our puppy neutered today. Poor little guy!! He's pretty peppy now though. He wants to eat!! I have to be careful and only give him a little at a time. Hope he heals quickly!

everyone! I've been missing, too! Just superbusy plus fighting allergies!

Hope everyone up there stays warm. It's getting up to 80F here in South Texas today. Nice now, but we pay for it in the summer!

I had a personal trainer session at the healthcenter today. Learned how to use some new equipment -- including kettlebells! And I managed 3 chinups on the tower! The first time I tried that a few months ago, I couldn't do a single one!

Gotta run get ready to leave for an appreciation and awards dinner tonight -- it's about 150 miles from here and we need to get there early to set up a display table. Y'all have a great weekend!

Girls I had to drop in and say Happy TGIF, this week has been crazy and its still colder then -40 out there. The weather is totally zapping my energy. But on a good note I have had a great eating week and I am hoping for a loss tomorrow, time will tell. Julie and Texas good to see you back, it just seems like life is so busy right now. Hopefully things will get calmer for all of us. Deb I love yoga clothes DH bought me a few yoga tops and pants for Christmas! Misty I hope things warm up for you , I am so looking forward to Florida!! Laura , hope life is treating you well. Cheryl I am colorful sick or well I love bright colors always have but its nice to have to match my colors up to my skin!! No I cook at home for family, our food is good at the hospital but way to carby for me although we do have salads and homemade soups. I really do enjoy cooking for DH and the boys and they all enjoy eating!! Its not often I have to cook at work and it was kinda fun but I was so tired. Hope you had fun shopping with your mom, I am sure she enjoyed it. My mother goes to Sarasota in the winter so she will be there when we are. It will be nice to see her, havent since the summer. Have a great week girls and stay warm...Texas you can send some of the heat my way , 80 is about my favorite temp

Jo brrrr. We were cold yesterday 20-30. But we are going to pop up to 70 next week. Out weather is very changeable. I'm not much of a cook. DH and I differ on what's good tastingso I just keep it fast and simple.

Misty has it warmed up there? Or not until spring? Can I borrow your friend?

TC did you do your Pilates demo? How did it go?

Julie how is the pup? Ours always do great. Nothing seems to get them down long. We used Turbo tax once but it was too time consuming. Too much with rental properties and everything. It was easier to dump it all at the CPA and let him take care of it. We have simplified our life now so it might be something to look into again. Let me know how it goes.

Deb is fake n bake a spray tan place? I have done that when we are going to a beach. Are you going on a trip?

We are off to the lake surprise surprise. I hope we can get started on the flooring this week or next. At least we are back in the living room instead crammed into the kitchen
