Well I gained 2 # on IF so switched to South Beach. I lost that plus a couple more so I think I found my WOE.

It's warmer today and 50's this weekend! We will be off to work at the LH.

They fixed Moms microwave. They are supposed to fix the washer today. The security system washer damaged than they thought and the alarm Cosby won't let the electric company fix it. So it will be a couple weeks until they can get to it.

ok had to work yesterday because of all the snow we got the kids of the familys I work for all came in to go skiing.

Deb I just got the new kindle fire hd. Had the old one but could only read books and play some games. The new one I can do everything read books, watch movies, play games and go on the web, also I check my e-mail, take pics and scipe (sp). Almost like a little computer.And it's all touch screen. But i'm still working on all the other things I can do with it.

Cheryl yup got alot more snow than they said. It's really cold today and there saying a 7 day cold spread. Mystery reader here too. And that's the kinda movies I like to watch.

Jo wow you really get the cold, don't think I'll compain anymore. Are worse problem is the really strong winds. It'll shake my whole house. Glad your healing up.

Mary keep checking in, Mushrooms are ok. Actually I love to buy the big portabella mushrooms and put sause and mozzarella cheese on the for kinds like a pizza. It's so good for a quick meal or snack.

I have never seen that show!WTG sounds like South Beach might just be the right choice for you. Its good that your mom is finally getting her stuff fixed. She sure has been through alot. I am feeling better today just tired, not sure why but its been a long week and I am looking forward to the weekend. Still -40 here today and I can't wait till the weather gets back to normal I hate not getting outside to walk or snowshoe. I think thats whats making me lazy!! I hope my weigh in tomorrow is ok. Made some coconut bark last night, haven't had it since before Christmas and now I have to get use to it again but its Have fun at the lake house

Cheryl our post crossed, I love hazel. My speaker for my comp. quit. I wish I could of wtched the you tube on hazel. Are you going to the lake this weekend. Great that mom is getting this fixed, it really sounds like she had some kind of power surge. I had that 2 years ago and it blew out alot of my things.

Misty we do get the cold, but until the last few days its been a nice winter. We can only hope it changes again soon. But I know you get cold weather as well. I can handle winter pretty good until these sort of days.

I read all the Prey series plus others. I also like Kay Hooper, iris Johanson, Greg Iles and more. I love a good book.

Jo I lived in North Dakota for a year and we had those wicked -20-40 plus wind chills. I didn't like it. Wimpy

Yep off to the lake tonight. Mom just called and the washer is fixed. She was so happy.

Afternoon Laura and I was reading and walking, not eating! My treadmill has a place to hold a book but I never had tried it before but I enjoyed it and the time flew by. Cheryl not liking this weather is smart not wimpy I am hoping it warms up a bit this weekend so we can get out. Once were in the bush is warmer or feels like it. The windchill is the killer! I skiied alot when I was younger but had a bad fall go figure! Hurt my knee bad at the time and never liked it as much after that. I think I might like cross country skiing but I decided on snowshoes this year instead. Enjoy yourself at the LH

I had a great weekend too. Just me and DH spending time together without company. Did lots of cooking. Another snow storm coming today and then they just said that we're getting a northeaster on Friday but that's still along ways off so maybe it'll change.

Laura right now I've been reading alot of James Patterson. I start reading on mystery writer for awhile and switch to someone else. Going to have to try John Sanford. Now that I got my new kindle for xmas, I 've been downloading alot of different books.

Cheryl glad moms got here washer running. No never tryed skiing, I'm too afraid I'd fall and break something important Wow you got alot done at the lakehouse.What kind of flooring are you putting in. We're putting new flooring in too. I already have it, just waiting for DS to get laid off from work so he can do it. He did his whole house last winter.

Jo I bring my book to the gym and read while I'm on the treadmill too. It makes it go by so fast. Last winter I did cross county skiing with a friend, she had the ski and I loved it. If she were around more often I'd probably get some of my own, but don't know anyone else around here that does it and no fun by myself.

Deb I haven't had indian food is so long, I love it. I looked up the Sony, are you just getting the reader or the one that does everything?

I love James Patterson Alex Cross! I am an avid reader. Sounds like you are getting nasty weather! We are going to put in a laminate floor with the pad attached. That way if we have another frozen pipe episode we can easily replace sections. Are you getting your books on Amazon?

Cheryl we're putting in laminate flooring too, in my kitchen. My floor takes a beating living on the lake and everyone running in and out in the summer. Especialy the kids with there wet bathing suits. I really got lucky, one of my clients was putting it in here family room and changer her mind and wanted to know if I wanted what she hadn't layed down yet. So I only have order 36 boxes and I love the color. Yes I order my books on amazon now that I just download it onto my kindle. Plus my friend has given me bookes of mysteries. So I'm reading those too. Just looked up the Prey series, sounds like something I'd love to read. How many books in the series?

I also read Richard North Patterson. I use to get them all mixed up. The authors- James and Richard North. Then the characters- JD had Alex Cross, RNP had Alex Davenport and John Sanford had Lucas Davenport. I would think I was buying one story line and end up with something different
