Had to work today, and some tomorrow. They say we're getting a snow storm starting around midnight. Hope it's not as much as they're saying.

Deb did you watch BL last night. I did. Not sure I'm going to like this one. Didn't really hold my interest and I've watched every show since it 1st started. Today I through some ribs in the crock with bbq sauce and just made a batch of cold slaw. DH had his FD meeting, so quick easy dinner.

Jo how you feeling today, hope all the brusies are healing but I know it takes awhile. Just take it easy. Hope your enjoying your you time. I am, with a nice glass of wine and then going to relax and watch tv or read.

Cheryl your dinner sounds so good. That's one meat that I love but always over cook it.

I haven't really bonded with any of the contestants yet. And they aren't showing much of the caring side of Jillian. But it's early yet

They had everybody out to Moms on Monday to figure out what took out appliances and alarm system. The electric company ended up with the blame and they are going to fix everything. So far they have had trouble finding parts for the microwave and washer because they are so new. They finally found them but it will be 6 more days before they are in. Mom is doing wash in the tub. I offered to bring it home and do it but she is so dang independent!

Misty is your snow the one came thru here a couple days ago? We still have snow and ice but the roads are good because the ground was warm from a couple days of nice weather.

Hi girls everyone is getting "weather" we are going a deep freeze cold brrrrrrr don't want to go out there today. Thanks for your concern but I am feeling better today, a black and blue mess but better. Had a totally quiet day yesterday with everyone any. Did an hour slowly on treadmill in the morning and an hour of yoga to streach it all all in the afternoon. Other then that read a book I got for Christmas, cook myself a prime rib steak for supper and talked on the phone with my mom and boys and best friend. Totally relaxed now back to work. Cheryl I am so glad they are finally getting your mother storted out that had a be hard on her. Misty build a snowman!! Deb chicken ceasar salads always work when your stuck!I was going to watch BL but my book won out and not having the tv on is a wonderful sound that doesn't happen here alot. Now everyone have a great day out there!

Didn't bother to go to work today because it's been snowing like crazy. Making baked ham for dinner, with sm bakes sweet potato and creamed spinach.

Cheryl not sure if it the same storm. But our ground is really frozen as well as the lake, so what ever we get really sticks. But not really cold today, which is nice.

Jo glad your feeling better, black and blues are bad enough, but I hate it when the start to heal and turn that yucky yellow. Last night I did almost the same thing as you. Talked to my sis for a long time. Then pjs and poured a nice glass of wine and read my book. I read mysterys. What kind of books do you read?

Deb when you going for the ribs? Using a coupon even makes it taste better.

Howdy Everyone!
Is Wed. our weigh in day?
No loss to report here! In fact I'm up 1.6#! Grrr! I had way too much sodium yesterday!
28 day Cleanse starts tonight. Have a meeting about it tonight.
30 day Yoga challenge started Mon.

Jo~SS about your fall! Where are your bruises?

Misty~I love my Kindle! I have an older one. Bought one when they first came out. Checking out books from the library started grossing me out! I'm sort of a Germ phobe. My DH finally bought one too! I got tired of having to return his books for him! He loves having to download his books!

CJ~Hear ya on older folks trying to keep their independence.

Deb~I can just see you falling Upstairs!

Shelby~How's your back. Mine was aching a bit yesterday. Don't know why it was. Good goal plan.

Skied yesterday & did some yoga @ home. It was cold & windy...but, had to go to meet up with the Girls. Apres ski was fun.
Off to Yoga in a bit.
Hope I can get thru this 28 day cleanse! It should really help to clean up some of my bad food habits. I really have to stop eating Tater Chips & other processed food that is just full of bad Stuff!

Jo glad you are feeling better for you to talk about it being cold it must really be cold!

Misty Is it snowing bad? Hope you don't get the ice we did

Pat what is Après skiing?

Deb we love BBQ around here especially ribs

I love reading too. And mysteries. I have a Sony reader around here somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. I put it in a "safe and easily remembered place" when Mom moved in. After she got her new home I started looking for it. Been 6 months and I still can't find it.

Nice.

Kindle and Sony are like tablets but smaller. You can carry them easy. Download books online or from your library and read them. It is easier to hold than books. And you don't have to store a bunch of books

Misty its still black and blue no pretty shades of yellow yet! But its darn cold here today -50 and they closed the schools???? Really can't figure that out the school are heated, I am thinking any excuse. But the boys are loving it! Pat bruises are on forearm, elbow, shoulder and leg all on my right side. Its getting better but back hurts when I sit to long. Worked a half day yesterday and we will see today, but I think I am on the mend. Good luck with your cleanse and yoga challenge. How does your cleanse work? Hi Laura have a good day at work. Deb happy you enjoyed your yoga sounds like you are back at it hard. I am sure the few pounds you gained will fall off of you. I have never heard of this Eric guy either I will have to have a listen. Cheryl it is cold but best part is it can't get any colder. But it does put a halt to my snowshoeing until it warms up so walked 1 1/2 hours on my treadmill yesterday will reading. I have to admit I am a romance reader and I tend to read books in hardcover. DH got me one of those gagets a could of years ago but I could never change over love the feel of books. I know I am old fashion and out of date but thats just me! Bet you will find it when you are not looking that happens to me all the time. I think we should write down when we hide things in a safe place the problem with safe is its safe from us as well.

I need to check in more! I had no loss the second week, but the clothes are definitely fitting better. I'm wearing pants that I couldn't get by the thighs. I did have mushrooms with my beef. Will that hold me back?

Wow Jo that is cold!! You can walk and read I am not that coordinated I read mysteries. I usually give my books to Mom or my brother. He trades them in for credit on more books. You can't do that with a reader.

Bsy- clothes tell a better story than the scale a lot of times. Mushrooms should be fine. Sounds like you are doing well

More melting going on today. Doing Hazels.

Not all are free. You can download from libraries if your library is up to date. Lots of freebies but most recent and popular books you have to pay for.
