Sounds like Sooz has had a lot on her plate.

I'm just jealous of everybody taking off for warmer parts in the near future. I want a vacation ! Lol.

TC sounds like you had yourself a nice retreat on the Pilates demo restrictions.

Cat I haven't tried Beach Body. I did try Jillian Michael and it was too much for me !!

G Jo. How much new snow? The trails sound beautiful.

Misty I can't take long walks with LD. His 2" legs wear outRocco looks good. How are you ? SB working?

Mary sounds like you doing great!

Pat are you sling?

Julie back on track?

The parts for the furnace are due in Thursday. DH has been staying at the LH nights to keep it warm with space heaters. But we are are having warmer temps now so he is back home.

Still struggling with what to do to lose weight. Thinking about intermittent fasting. I just can't get it going with low carb for now. Mentally. Or I'm just mental.

I feel greatI felt so crappy after December but after being back on plan and strict as well as getting in regular excerise I feel so good and sooooo Me! Sunday we snowshoed for 2 hours and I did an hour of yoga. Monday I did stairs at morning break at work for 15 min , 15 min of weights and hour of yoga. Yesterday an hour of yoga and hour of snowshoeing. This morning 15 min of stair climbing again (real stairs) at break and its snowing , supper is in the slow cooker and as soon as I am off today I am heading out on snowshoes then yoga. I will lose 15 lbs before March first or at least be in great shape Your welcome Mary and I hope it works for you, stay with us you can do this Texas when I saw storm I though snow right away. Storms to me are always snow and lots of fun!! Way to go with all your exercise and how proud you must feel to be asked to help demonstrating Pilates Were proud of you Your doing great girl! Get you on the happy baby position Deb I will join Cheryl You will do it your always do and I am really enjoying Yoga I use to think it was for sissy's boy was I in for a suprise but its a blast! Sound like a nice grill! Cheryl we are getting tons of snow it hasn't stopped in a couple of days and its warm just below freezing loving it!! Hate the working part or I would be out for hours. Cheryl you will figure out what works for you now. Pick a plan and stick with it for a couple of weeks. Give it your all and it will get easier. Hardest part is getting back on a plan after even a week when you are feeling so much better you wonder what the fuss was all about. Your not mental its just hard thinking about the first few days and how hard they are but think beyond those days. You can do this I'm with Deb I wish Sooz was around more but then I miss alot of people, havent seen Laura around for awhile either. Hope everyone has a great day I know I am

Jo, you are such an inspiration to us! If I were surrounded by all that cold and snow, I think I would just snuggle under down comforters and hibernate all winter! And be as big as a bear, too!

I like you idea "I will lose 15 lbs before March first or at least be in great shape" and am going to adopt it for my mini-goal too! Our storm was BLESSED RAIN, the answer to lots of around here. And it's still coming down!

Cheryl, glad dh is back from the lh and the furnace will be fixed soon.

Cheryl and Mary, here's my plan: Set myself some mini-goals (even just for a week to start) and decide which plan will help me get there. Once I start achieving the mini-goals, maybe I'll get inspired to keep going. You know what they say, starting is the hard part for doing anything!

Lisa, I googled Marco Island. It sounds beautiful! What a great trip that will be!

Misty, that corned beef and cabbage the other night sounded so good! I have a gf and a regular (flat) electric griddle/grill. We grilled tilapia the other night on the flat one.

Cathy, good going with your dvd workouts! I have a yoga and some
Richard Simmons (I know, he's very old school, but he's fun!) dance dvds for when I can't get out of the house. -- Like today with our rain!

Good for you, Julieboo, on planning ahead so much. The farthest I can envision right now is Sept. when we go back to the New Mexico mountains again, but I would like to be at goal by Mothers' Day! I've told dh I want a ziplining adventure for Mothers' Day and I want to look great zipping down those cables. He's ready to do it with me, but ddil and dgs think the old lady is off her rocker. Ds just shrugs like, "Mom's at it again!"

Cryssi, You're doing great! 6 pounds already! You should be proud!

to all, and especially any I haven't mentioned yet, but the rain is starting again and I may lose connection!

OK Jo I will give IF a 2 week run. It seems doable. What did you have in the crockpot? I don't see how you can have an extra ounce on you as active as you are.

TC still raining? When do you get to do your Pilates poses? I will try a mini goal of 3# for the month

I need you all or ya'll to keep after me. I am doing 2-3 exercises/day. So far no pain furnace parts are supposed to be here Thursday. Good thing. Big Cold on the way. Not Jo cold but freezing and below.

Mom is still without her alarm system, washer and microwave. Supposedly they will be there Friday to check things out. Electric company couldn't get a hold of the builder. Surprise ( sarcasm). They opened a restaurant downtown are even harder to reach now.

Day 1 IF ok. I am doing an 8 hour open window to eat. At least to start.

Deb how much snow did you get? Why window inspections.

my phone has rung off the wall and my door knocked on every which way

im tired
infact L/B is going to work tomorrow so i can have a day off

so i plan on bow-flexing..out for fresh mushrooms so i can make speggetti sauce..then home to cook and read the book wheat belly i bought a couple of weeks ago

Cheryl, the rain is over for a few days. We had 5-5 1/2 inches!

The health fair with our Pilates class is Saturday morning. Can't believe I'm going to do that in public!

Deb, today I exercised here at home -- 30 minutes on the treadclimber and 15 on the cardioglide. It's a thing that a person sits on, pulls the handlebars and presses on foot pedals. This raises the seat so the person comes to almost a standing position - uses their own body weight against them. Was going to use the BF too, but as usual, there was too much "stuff" on and around it.

Ok did I tell you how much I hate the wind we get on the lake in the winter. It was so bad yesterday and last night. It even blew my gutters of the corner of my house. Darn I hate wind. But making a nice pork roast today for comfort food.

Sooz love your new avi of your GDs they are so cute. Hope all news is good news. Oh yes it's been really cold here. DH was snowblowing yesterday and his beard and mustach were frozen, but he loves the cold, I on the other hand watch him and Rocco from the window. But before his transplant he worked out in the cold all the time.

Cheryl did your parts come in for your heat. Hope they get your moms house straighten out soon, you think that would be priority right now. It's now her fault. Do you think it could of been a power surge that caused all the problems? Don't know if you remember when that happen to me and alot of damage. Yes sticking with SB. I really wish they would of written a better book. It took me alot of reading to understand how it works. I almost like portion control with whole healthy foods. But NO junk food.

Checking in with my weekly weigh in... down 2.6 lbs this week. I've been feeling really good and even though I haven't been doing much in the way of working out, I have been busy and keeping moving. I have a spare room that has been used as a store room and I've been trying to clean it out and get it organized so I can paint it and make it look decent. I'm trying to get out of my funk of coming home, eating dinner, and then spending the rest of the evening on the couch.

Howdy, Everyone!
I posted yesterday to say that I'm sorry for being MIA!
But, where is my post?

I've been playing catch up w/all of U! Good going to all of you LOSERS!

No weight change here yet. Things might change though as I experiment w/a 30 day Yoga challenge & a 28 day Whole Foods Cleanse that I signed up for @ Yoga place.
Yoga challenge starts Mon. 14th & cleanse starts on Wed. 16th. I've never done a cleanse. But, this one might work for me?
