How many peeps were @ the SB party. Where's lunch w/the girls this week? I would likey a new Kindle fire...but, my old one still works great...so...will be keeping it for a while. I've been practicing yoga consistently for about 3.5yrs or so. Must see a pic of U ice skating!

Deb~How's the Tummy/back today? That Mex Cass sounds Good...but, doesn't look 2 purdy on a plate!

Show us new purse! Hope U get something Shiney! I just want some flowers.

Laura~Yep...it is purdy over there! Hope U get to make a snow ball or two.

Funny...your tired of being in The Tahoe & I'm in Tahoe.

About that interview...some reporter guy is writing a Business article about the place where I do Yoga & he interviewed the Studio manager & me (the client) for his article. He asked why I started doing yoga, why I continue to doing it, & what have I benefited from doing yoga etc.
Speaking of Yoga...off to yoga in a bit. It's my 23rd day of the 30 day challenge.

y'all! I know I've been scarce around here, but I've been busy with gymming and an online course I'm taking, and then today we had a storm that knocked out the power for hours! But we had rain!!!

Laura, I'm pretty sure you got it at your place too. It was a fairly massive line of rain! Enjoy Ruidoso! It's so beautiful there! And that hot tub will be great for your back.

Misty, you asked what we do with the land. The two pastures have native grasses that can be mowed for hay. We have three veggie gardens -- 7 4x8 foot raised beds, a plowed row garden and the melon patch for cantaloupes, honeydews and watermelons, and a meditation garden -- that's my Secret Garden. We have a hot tub, a pool with outdoor kitchen on the deck, an outdoor shower room, a fire pit, a greenhouse, a shooting range, an archery range, and an astronomical observatory. We have plans to build a chicken coop and a garden railroad. It sounds like a lot, but dh has built most of it himself -- whenever I give him a new idea. We have a lot of fun playing out here.

And no neighbors and no bats - yet!

Rbenz - I'd love to try skiing but probably would break something!

All I have ever had a chance to do is waterskiing, but that's fun too.

I used to water ski in that Dirty Rio Colorado in Tejas. It was fun though.

It's snowing rt. now. We might get half a foot or so by the AM. Not much considering it's Feb.!

Pat, maybe Texas is the only place where people water-ski in creeks and rivers if they don't have a lake around?

And then there is pasture-skiing -- it includes skis, a rope, a pickup truck, a yell, "Hey, y'all, watch this!" and often a trip to the ER!

My nephew was parked on the street at Moms. Hit and run. They heard a thud and his car alarm go off. By the time they got out there all the saw was tail lights

On the ER note. I just fell into the floor register hole and got my foot stuck and twisted. Not worthy of a visit but you get the picture. Klutz and senior moments

They hit the far hard enough there is a partial license plate # imprinted. Maybe they will find them.

Good morning, well we ended up getting a little over 2 feet of snow. School is still canceled for today because alot of the side roads still haven't been completely plowered out. But main roads are fine. Now it's snowing again and going to change into freezing rain. DH shoveled the roof of yesterday so hoping we don't get any leaks. Ok I'm so ready for spring. Just glad I don't have to go out in this mess. Be back to catch up.

Your nephews car look so awful, the person who hit must of really be traveling fast or drinking to take off like that. Hows your floors look were you able to get them in after you got hurt.

Tex your land sounds so fantastic, you have everything. I'd never leave home.DH and my boys would love to have a shooting range and archery. They had to join a club so they can go.

Pat doesn't seem like your getting half the snow you usually get. Last year all the ski resorts around here took a beating because of so little snow. Now they're lovin it. I love my Kindles too. Last year DS bought me the kindle reader and loved it. Then this year for xmas DH got me the Kindle Fire HD and I love it, like my own mini computor. I was almost going to bring it back until I saw all the things I can do with it. I'm even hooked on some of the games. Nice when I lose power.

Deb nice gift from L/B and I bet he loves his kindle. Did you know if you go on ereaderlove.com they have free books in all catagories everyday. Plus I get alot on Amazon too.

Laura are you back to work now? How much snow did you get to play in? So nice to get a nice vacation.

Deb are you still watching BL, I keep forgeting because it's on Mon. But going to watch it tonight. Is Family Day just for the building or is it national holiday. Sounds nice to have roof space to relax on. Just think of the great tan you can get.
