Lazy Sunday afternoon here. 75F but I think we could spare some of the heat for you both, Jo and Misty. Cheryl, yes, we did our Pilates demo @ the megasupermarket in town. It was fun. The guy who cuts up so much in class got us giggling so much I fell over twice during our "Pigeon" stretches! And the healthcenter gave us "bucks" to be used in the pro shop, deli or, my favorite, for massages!

Deb, fingers crossed for a great V-Day surprise. Chesney is a favorite singer of mine, too. Laura, hope your back is much better and you are feeling better. Where did our sunshine go?

Julie, dh uses Turbo and likes it, even with extra income and deductions to account for. I just sign where he points.

We got the flooring for the LH but it had to acclimate for 48 hours so we didn't get it in. Next weekend we may take off and spend it in Tulsa. Time for a break.

Cheryl-that is some variet in temps. Hope the lake was nice! We're simple now w. taxes, just 1 W2, a few deductions. No more CPA for me . The pup is great! He's healing quickly and back to his normal, semi-hyper little furry self! He's making big progress in potty training now that I've remembered to get him a piece to cheese to celebrate his victories. Tough to get the treat to him quickly!

I'm JUDDDing. Not crazy about he UDs or the not losing weight so far. But I'm back to lifting and not gaining, so I'll bet I'm netting a loss in there. Gonna' give it a bit longer and hope for the best. I feel good at least . Even if I'm way too high on the scale . 157 won't work for me long term, but I'll use it as a place to start this year .

Cheryl, one of the other dh's watching the Pilates demo told my dh, "It's just not fair! My wife threatened me with my life if I laughed at them, and look at all of them laughing and joking around!" It was fun though, but we were glad we had finished and someone else was demoing exercising when the local tv news crew arrived. I don't need that 15 minutes of fame!

Had a great on plan weekend. Snowing again today but it's not as cold, staying in the 20's and NO wind.

Cheryl yup warming up, finally, but snowing. Can't wait for warmer weather. When I first moved up here my neighbor said honey theres only 2 seasons up here in the Bershires---it's 4th of July and Winter Nice you got your floor. Bet it'll look so nice when you get it in. What color did you get. Sounds like your going to have a fun weekend.

Deb what kind of Kindle are you getting. I have 2 different ones. Ones just kind of for reading and my new one Kindle Fire HD is like a mini computor.

Julie yeah our temps are all over the place. 70's today and I think tomorrow we are supposed to get severe storms and tornados. This is January right?? Did you lose your weight on JUDDD before or are you trying something different? Glad the puppy is doing well. What kind is he?

Misty on winter and 4th of July. I like my warm weather. Do you have a snow blower? We do. Didn't need it last year and so far not this year.

Hope you all had a good weekend. Our weather finally broke and its beautiful out. We took advantage of that yesterday and I went snowshoeing with a friend in the morning and back out in the afternoon with DH and the boys. Had a bonfire and a great day. I am so glad the windchill is gone and I hope its stays gone. Heading back out right after work got to get out while I can Texas I had to laugh just thinking about you doing it, I am not sure I could of. Your poor Hubby did he laugh later Cheryl nice flooring I bet you will be happy to gets that all done. I am a pretty good cook, went to school for it in my young years and work as a Chef before I decide to to what I do now. Hope you had a great weekend at the lake. Deb he is going to be excited and I hope you will get something nice as well. I like Kenny Chesney as well and I am sure it will be a very fun trip. Morning all! It's 68 and windy and I have the house open. I'm going to enjoy while I can. Tomorrow the high will be in the 30's.

I can't seem to exercise without pain flare ups so I've decided to go back in time and I dug out my pedometer. At least it will keep me moving !

Jo glad your weather is better and you can get out and snowshoe. You were a chef? How great! What's your favorite food to fix?

Ahh. Just got an alert we are under a tornado watch. The storms don't really look bad so hopefully we just get rain.

sorry......I'm a nurse and work 6 12hr shifts , then off for 8 days......and now DH and I have the same schedule ( just started recently ) and we are off together every other week

I was a nurse too. But I haven't worked in that field for a long time. I worked in hospital - destroyed in the tornado- for over 10 years. The last 5 were on an oncology/ dialysis ward

I'm plugging away w. JUDDD. First week done, I stuck to my cal ranges and have been working out. I'm down 0.6lbs this first week. 156.6 today, which is still compared to the 140's where I was a few months ago. Sigh. Not much of a loss, but considering I usually gain a few lbs when I start back to the gym, I'll take it .

Today turned out beautiful, and even got 2 nice walks in. Then watched the kids shovel the lake for ice skating, so think I'm gonna go dig mine out, good exercise for the legs.

Cheryl love your floor color. Mine is called cherry but it actually looks like a dark maple which matched my cabinets and beams. Hope all the weather passes and you don't get it.
Yes we have 2 snow blower, big and little and put them to alot of use already. Lobe the pics of your kittens are they from the same litter they look alike.

Jo glad your deep freeze broke too. I can't stand being stuck in the house. I love to cook too. Think it just came about watching my Mom all the time. I much rather make dinner at home than go out. wtg on the 1/2 lb I say what ever is down is fine with me. I'm getting there but really slow.

Julie sounds like Judd is working for you. I read on one of the judd threads that the weight bounces up and down until the body adjust.

Misty the storms are north of us we have rain and thunder. The temps have dropped 20*, maybe icy tomorrow. But it's supposed to warm back up to the 40-50 range after that. And the ground is warm so the roads should be good. I use to ice skate. Sorta. sounds like fun. Our floors are dark and the cabinets are light maple. The walls are are a light blue gray. I like to mix up light and dark. I'm hoping the dark floor will make the light cabinets pop

The kitties are about a year apart. We got Min - on the left from a rescue. Fix we picked up at a convenience store when he was a kitten. We have another kittiy that is an outdoor cat. All white. We have a heated garage and she has a bed up in the shelves and a kitty door to come and go. She was left by the people that we bought the house from. And of course we picked LD off the side of road. We just can't pass these guys by. How's Rocco?

Cheryl so glad the storm missed you. It ended up being 40 here today, I loved it. Oh I love the color you have for your walls. I don't have many walls just one main one. My livingroom, kitchen and dining room are all one big room with beams and 13 windows. I really like to think of a color to make that one wall stand out. I'd love animals I lost my cat ally in Oct. and miss her so much. She was 19 and my baby. Rocco's doing good.Think he's the only one that loves the snow.

I was always a dog lover -- until I married dh I never had a cat. He claims to have been raised by his cats, and always had them so we have both and I love them all!
