I weighed in at 139 this morning. GOAL
I can hardly believe it. I did not expect to see it so soon. I had been losing 1 lb a week but this past week the weight just flew off. I'm so excited. I'm going to keep going but up my DD calories to slow down a little. I want to loose 4 more pounds to have a good range to maintain in. |

I need to take a break from JUDDD this week. TOM returned yesterday after less than 2 wks., so my hormones are definitely going wacky for some reason. Hopefully it's just a normal part of transitioning to menopause, but I'm also hypo-thyroid and don't want to mess with mother nature at this already imbalanced stage of my life. ![]() ![]() ![]() :![]() Last edited by SlimNana; 01-14-2013 at 08:10 AM.. |

Just catching up with you guys - what great progress!
TJ, sorry your calf is still acting up. There must be a muscle that's really inflamed for some reason. Take it easy and let it heal, and feel better! Jaymar, Adi and Arlene, good job on the walking. It's such a great exercise. I loved it so much several years ago, with my little doggie who has now passed on. I want to lose some more before I walk in the neighborhood. I know it's dumb, but I don't want to be that fat woman walking around. Good job, Jodi, on recovering from your sugar UUAD. That's a major accomplishment. I'm so glad your DH is so supportive! Sammyann! Goal so fast! WTG girl! Woohoooooo! SlimNana, my sympathies on the TOM so quickly. Yuck. Like once a month is not enough. Hope all is well, and you'll get back to JUDDD when your body is ready. I didn't do any exercise whatsoever over the weekend, but I did get my Callanetics hour 4 done this morning. I'm trying to push myself just a little bit harder each time. I'll be glad when I can actually see some progress in the strength department. I'm already feeling firmer muscles!

![]() You're all doing great! I made my gym goal last week, but only because I went Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I haven't been back since Wednesday night. On the plus side, I lost a couple of pounds, so I think the exercise is causing me to stall. I still want to do it though!I'm planning on going to Zumba tonight. The stray GSD DH brought home a couple of months ago is getting fixed today, getting chipped, and having her dew claws removed. I'll have to see how she's doing, or see if DH can stay home with her, though, before I can commit to the gym tonight.

Tempe was doing well after her surgery, so we were able to hit the gym last night. Zumba was fun, and I burned 536 calories. I'm not ravenous this morning, so I'm hoping I'm adjusting to the exercise.

Melanie, good job on getting to your workout! Arlene, that Callanetics does feel great! Shari, wow! So close to goal - how exciting! Sven, good for you getting your workout in before work! I did hour 5 of Callanetics this morning and it feels so good. I'm feeling something a bit different. My layer of fat feels more squishy, and I think it may be because it is over muscle that is really firming up! |

Saw Gyno yesterday, he reassured me my irregularity with TOM is most likely just part of the process of menopause I see him again in March for my annual checkup, so he may want me to have an ultrasound and/or a biopsy then, if it gets worse in the next couple of months. I guess not stopping at all is the only thing that could be worse than having TOM every 2 wks.In the meantime, I'm back to JUDDD again for now. Today it's a DD for me before my weekly weigh in tomorrow. Congrats to you JBs who are still here Rockin' their way to V-Day! ![]()

I started some weight training, can hardly move my arms today, did shoulders, triceps and chest yesterday, apparently my chest is pretty out of shape since that's what hurts the most lol DD for me today and I really need to start buckling down on the UD's. Some have gotten out of control, so I'm adding another goal...no more UUADs, sounds reasonable ![]() |

Scheduled for Zumba tonight. I have to say, I really enjoy it. I even bought the Wii Zumba Core to do at home, but haven't been able to try it out. I know I look ridiculous, and it was confirmed by DH on Monday. The studio at the gym has windows out to the parking lot. He and Keira were leaving (we go at different times because the day care closes in the middle of my class) and he said they watched me for a little bit and saw me laughing at myself when I missed a step.
