Hell; we're expected to maintain our sanity??? Knew I was doing something wrong

Kissa, 126 and below sounds marvellous. Congratulations!!

Blotto, still reeling from your amazing accomplishments and wondering quite frankly where you are planning to lose weight, given the beautiful photos...

Shy, don't worry about posting often. It's just nice to know you're out there somewhere. Hugs x

Ailuros; interesting take on the JUDDD thing. Wouldn't suit me either, but let's hope your husband is that way inclined.

Jan, a huge CONGRATULATIONS for leading all your children successfully to adulthood - what an achievement!!!

Blondie - so how's the new job? Hope you're really enjoying it!

Lola, LOL on the description of your less-than-enthusiastic decorating With you there to the very last dust mote...

JFM; HOORAY on the 20lbs - that's fantastic!! Well done you.

Much love,

Juno x x x

Kissa, I'm envious of your continued success. I hope some of it will rub off on me in the new year.

Juno, blush blush - thank you!

Ladies - I'm wishing you all a good Christmas and New Year if you celebrate them, or just general good wishes if you don't! I'm going to sign off now until the new year as I'm just really busy the next few days and then heading off to stay with family for several days, so won't be online all that much.

See you all in the New Year, when I shall be kicking it up a notch diet wise.

Just checking in. Know that you are all probably mega busy. Hope everyone is keeping fit and well.

I.m good. Out tonight to another Xmas "do". Still trying to do JUDD till Monday if I can. On a DD today so not eating till tonight...and its turkey lol and no xmas pud.

Looks like its gonna be a mild and possibly wet Xmas..disappointing for the children and somehow doesn't seem the same without snow...that's as long as you are staying in.

Anyways enjoy whatever whererever. xx

Hi everyone, I am enjoying the last day of peace before joking in a lovely family Xmas, 9 adults and 3 kids under 6!

I have been eating to mich and not doing my proper rotations but at least today will be a Down Day. I love the peace and calm of eating very little, and so does my body. From tomorrow it will be another thing altogether.

I hope all of you enjoy the season and all it means. I am sure even Maryam enjoys the fun side of Xmas in Abu Dhabi. They do it very well there.

So Merry Christmas all my lovely LCF friends and may the New Year bring you everything you wish yourselves.

Happy Christmas to everyone.!!! Don't suppose I will be back on now till after Xmas. Like you Kissa I.m having a down day today...having drunk far too much on Friday at a party and showing 2lbs gain on scales. Just done a 2 hour mixed class at my gym so that may have helped!!

However, whatever I will deal with after Xmas.

I will be back to low carb on 27 December - none of this 'in the new year' talk - I need to knuckle down and just get on with it. But I will allow myself to indulge on Xmas Day and Boxing Day, haha!

Enjoy the festivities everyone, be good and be happy!

So Christmas is over for another year - I hope everyone had a wonderful few days. No doubt most of us have over indulged - I certainly have. I'm back at work today and back on low carb - I feel ready for it. I'm going to Blondie's on Saturday for breakfast, I believe I'm her guinea pig for some new low carb recipes, haha!

Hey hey thank god for that lol..over for another year. Yep I.m back on low carb today Blotto. Didn't eat too much chocolate or cake...as usual too much alcohol and cheese.

Also got a mega sore throat so that should curb the appetite....just done an hours body pump so also back in the exercise saddle.

Have a good day...sorry you are back at work Blotto but hey you don't want to stay home and eat now do you?? Hmmm breakfast sounds good fun with Blondie on Saturday.

Hi to everyone reading

Had a wonderful time on Dartmoor with lots of family fun and soooo much food it hurt.

Enjoying a DD of liquids only today, my body is very happy with me.

Missed having Mint and her sister with me this year, never quite the same for a Mum, but we are good at it.

Hope you throat doesn't get too bad Lola.

Wish I could go to Maryam's for breakfast too, Blotto. Tell her I said to sign you up to our Allies Exercising Around the World challenge. She is struggling on her own just now, although in the New Year I hope to be back properly. You would be such an asset to us!

I didn't do so well on low carb yesterday, but I'm back with avengence today. Going well so far - a 2.5hr cycle in the wind and scrambled eggs/smoked salmon for brunch. A big steak planned for dinner, yummy.

Lola, sounds like you are doing well. Hope the sore throat doesn't get any worse.

Kissa, I'm sure you missed Mint and DD2. I missed my mum :-( I'll check out the exercise thread now.

Happy weekend all - Blondie, see you tomorrow!

Hi girls,

Hope everyone who celebrates Christmas enjoyed the festivities. I loved having all my kids home. It was a busy and fun week!

All quiet again now. It's cold and snowy, and I need to stay home today and clean and sort out all the left over food and empty bottles

A couple (more!) pounds have crept on, but I feel ready to tackle them! I am so ready to get back to exercising on January 2nd after 2 months off....

Sorry about your cold, Lola. Hope you're feeling better.

Let's help each other get back in shape asap

Jan

So glad you had a lovely time with the kids Jan. And I'm with you, let's kick each other into shape in the new year - it's about time we all followed in Kissa's superslim footsteps!

Ha, ha, I face the scales for the first time since Christmas tomorrow morning. And Jan is the slim one, while you Blotto are our superwoman!

We drove back today to London, lots of rain (surprise) and lots of traffic too. I am having a potato day today. Strangely satisfying and remarkably low calorie. I'll not be able to eat enough to get my calories all in.

Yes, Jan is also a super slim one! We shall follow in both your footsteps!

What is a potato day?! And why are you having one?!

Had a lovely breakfast at Blondie's yesterday, with lots of her lovely lady friends!

Ha, ha, the potato day is from a DD Hack on the JUDDD boards. You just eat potatoes without fat all day. It is amazing how satisfying boiled potatoes hot or cold can be and it is so simple and easy. A bit bonkers but quite nice too. Some are doing it for a few days and seeing big losses, but that isn't for me.

Bet you had fun at Maryams.

I am about to go shopping for food to prepare the main course for our NYE dinner for 15. I am cooking Beef Bourguingnon, delicious, but it takes forever. So I will set the meat to marinade overnight and spend most of tomorrow preparing it. I enjoy it though so no complaints.

Poor you Lola, I have a bit of a cold too but I am beating it with Vit C, Echinacea and stubbornness! Sorry you have lost the battle.

I planned to do a potato day today followed by a normal DD tomorrow, then I realised I was out of my mind and that tomorrow is NYE.

So I did a special Cindy DD, 1 coffee and 4 glasses of wine. Do as I say, definitely don't do as I do, as Mimosa used to say.

Had a day at the sales, nice!

Lola, hope you feel better soon. I too hav woken up with a sore throat this morning and feel pretty rotten. Hoping to shake it as I really don't want to start 2013 poorly!

Kissa, haha, NYE is not allowed to be a DD!

Well, Happy New Year everyone, I really hope 2013 will bring all us lot of love, laughter, happiness and health. Here's to a great NYE and a great year ahead!
