Morning everyone . I could get used to this being home thing lol. Sam and i just finished his breakfast, then he decided to snuggle with me for about 10 min. Melts my heart.

I want to try to get some cleaning and decluttering done today. My gf is coming to visit tomorrow with her twins . The twins are 1 and a half. Babies galore weekend <3.

Goodmorning, had the funeral yesterday. It was a military funeral. And they make it so sad. With the songs and gun being fired and the folding of the flag. Then to top it off I almost didn't make it there. We had about 15 inches of snow up here and it was so bad driving. So glad for the new year to begin.

Christina I feel the say way, I want a totally fresh start for the New Year. And looking forward to it.

Deb have a great trip. Glad the weathers going to be good for traveling.

Laura love the new avi pic of Shelby. Don't feel bad I've been eating everything too. Going to go back on SB the 1st. The worse thing for me is, I've been eating out most of the time because of traveling. Gonna have to post some pic of all our snow for you. There's tons

Siiiiiick! Had a great Christmas and hope y'all did too. We spent it at our ds and ddil's ranch (near Seguin, for Laura and others who know Texas). Ddil, dgs, and her identical twin are stuck in the snow mess and power outage in Arkansas now. They went there to be with their dm and dsf. Had lots of trouble getting there -- finally had to abandon the car at the bottom of the last hill because they couldn't get up the icy hill. Parents were in the midst of moving into their new home when the storm hit. They have a whole home generator for it, but not all the furniture and clothing yet and how long can that generator keep going? On the + side, dgs is seeing lots of snow!

If I'm not around for a few days, I'm in bed trying to get over this cold & allergies. Have a great weekend and Happy New Year!

Well another really snowy day again today, but it's really pretty. Just glad I don't have to drive in it.

Tex ss your sick, but glad your xmas was great. Glad they have generator it sure helps. Hope all the roads get cleared and sanded and that the snow stops. I bet dgs are have tons of fun in the snow. Hope get better fast and have a great New Years. Going to be quiet for us.

Christina what you doing for New Years any special plans? I'm just going to cook up something nice for dinner and stay home and relax. Have you heard anything from Lory, I looked back and she hasn't been here in awhile. Maybe she when away for the holidays.

Laura glad to hear that you and DH will be off together for New Years. Bet your looking forward to the 8 days off. So is it Jan that you and DH start working the same shifts?

Christina going to be a nice quiet New Years for us too. Going make a nice dinner for DH and I and watch some movies. DS bought us a new flat screen tv for xmas which I really needed. My old clunker is over 15 years old. Going to feel like I'm at the movies and our dollar store had alot of good movies that I bought.
I'm hoping that once the holidays are over we all get back to having fun and posting again. New Year New Goals.

Hello everyone

I finally got around to cleaning up this one corner in Sam's room that I have been meaning to get at for weeks now, whew! Lol

So much has changed in the past year without it seeming like it.

I decided my resolution/goal for 2013 is to be a better role model. I want Sam to learn to eat healthy, to enjoy exercising each day, to see that neat and clean on a regular basis is easier and less overwhelming than constant messes that take large amounts of effort to pick up and clean, to know that what you say and how you say it is important, and that kindness is ALWAYS the best choice. The only way to have him learn these things so that they are just part of who he is, is to make it so it is part of who we are as a family.

I am not looking to make each day "perfect" but to be the best i can.

I have friends coming in for the night i haven't seen them in person for over 6 months. Her boys are 18 mo, i can't wait to see them.

I think tomorrow night is just a stay at home and relax night. Maybe I will pick up something for myself to drink that I don't normally indulge in...hmm.

Misty - we have had hardly a snowflake down here! I hope you are bundled up nice and warm. We got a new flat screen for Christmas too. Not set up just yet, hopefully by next week. What movies will you watch?

Gab, the chickens are ok.....they are loving the new grass with the recent rain....the baby aricanas are laying green/blue eggs.....the silkies haven't laid any yet....they are still way small.....we put a heater in the coop where they sleep to keep the night cold out....we actually had to scrape the windshield this morning. I don't recall this ever happening .....way too cold for here......weird...lololol

Hi all, Sorry been MIA- I have been trying to get my head together after the pain doc incident. I have been getting things together for my disability hearing. I STILL do not have the results of my MRI. I need to make an appt I suppose. I also need a new referral for a pain management doc that can work with my issues, not against.

In the meantime, DH and I are cleaning out my depression room- it was getting close to a beggining hoarders room. Everything that was my moms that I wanted to keep is stashed in there. It was a room I would open a door and tippy tow to the printer grab a paper and tip toe out. lol

2013 is going to be better year- It has to be right?

I started back on my diet yesterday ....... full LC. Was going to wait till tomorrow, but decided I have had enough and ready to feel better in New Year. This year was tough on us all, hope next year is better !

Not sure? The ingredients look to be LC, but with the fillers added would make me question the lc of it. Also, the sodium listed is crazy high!

Laura, are you done working now for a week???? it has to be horrid during this time of year in the emergency room.....in our news there are already a ton of accidents.....due to dui......most of them didn't make it though.....

Lory, glad your back.....ja, I would be furious with my docs for all that stuff they put you through.....u need that like a nail in the head

my nutritionist wants to pay for my food if I do the Ideal Protein thingy.....I told her I would but I want to work it off or pay it back when we get back on our feet....either way.....If this goes through I won't have to worry about food for a while but only my exercise......so that really helps......
