Love that avi of Shelby, Laura! Enjoy the cold while it's here -- it's supposed to warm up to 80 Sunday, but then another cold front will arrive Christmas. Wow! Wouldn't it be amazing if it snowed?
 Some of you up North friends have laughed at us because we memorialized our "South Texas Christmas Miracle" when it snowed 8 years ago. Two volumes of photo books were published -- and get this, the books are now being reprinted! People who missed the books then can buy the books now to show their kids who have never seen snow!  I love that King ranch chicken -- lc tortillas, natch?  I "played hooky" from healthcenter today. I plan on doing laundry & housecleaning, maybe some cookie baking and definitely some solo Pilates. I also want to just enjoy lazing around, enjoying the woodstove fire and drinking peppermint tea. Have a great Friday!

Hiya
No snow here or 80 degrees. Just wet cold rain and dark cloudy skies. The best kind of snuggle up in bed kind of day. Still had work though. It was areal light day for me, so that was nice and there is something about the last half hour at school before christmas that just sets me in the mood. I don't know if its seeing the kids so excited, the wishing everyone merry christmas as weleave, or just the vacation idea. Guess it doesnt matter . So. I have lots of wrapping to do this weekend, some cleaning up. Christmas pageant at church sunday to run. A goodbye dinner tomorrow for a coworker headed to south carolina. Heading to see les mis on wednesday. Cant wait!

Well, I didn't do anything today that I NEEDED to do, have a list a mile long for monday's get together. Instead, I drove an hour to go see a movie I wanted to see, BY MYSELF... I have never gone to the movies by myself. It's called "The Guilt Trip" with Barbra Streisand, and it's so funny !! I was laughing and enjoyed it ... got a little running around done too. and had a Schlotsky's........haven't had one in years
Tomorrow I will be so super busy cleaning and prepping food. Going with Heather and Shelby to get her pics done and then she is staying here till Mon evening. Should be interesting cleaning and cooking with her here....she is used to my un-divided attention ! Hope you all are doing well !

. I am hoping to wrap a few things today. Headed to church to set up for tomorrow. Dinner out tonight. Tomorrow after church i need to go to the grocery store, finish wrapping and decorating. Hope to get the homemade Bailey's done, it always tastes better a day or two later |

We had our Christmas today. DS2 wasn't here....has the flu.
DIL didn't come.. working and getting ready for big CHristmas at her house tomorrow with her family Good time, tired, lots of food...... Hope you all have a Merry Christmas ! I work tomorrow so will check back later |

Glad you had a good time Laura
 We were up early..quiet building did my 15 floors of stairs..bow-flexed and had a power walk going to prep some food up today for a nice turkey dinner for 2 later |

ja, I was scared that I will get all the chemicals and I am not eating anything else....so I was worried about the chemicals....especially about the "dirty dozen".....lolol but that was all I "ate" at the time.....but now its too expensive

well have no fear...just heard on the news that teachers in Utah are going in for fire-arms training
so i guess the schools in America will be safe soon.. oh .........till a teacher goes on a spree  but i guess no one has thought of that more guns for all |

Morning girls
Working my 6 right now... so tired ! Christmas is over and maybe the thread will pick back up. I loved when we all chatted so much, you guys are great ! I'm eating everything too...... man, I guess it's just life. Everyone IS tired and burned out this year. Too much has happened in everyone's life, plus all that happened everywhere else ! Hey all - we had a real nice Christmas with just the immediate family. A fun day with two babies
. Yesterday, dh and i went to see Les Mis. Love that story and music. Spent today at home relaxing and folding laundry. Good times . LolNow i am watching Joyful Noise. Not great but good movie |
