Christina glad you got to go to the store ! DS and GF here, having our back yard completely torn up - putting in new septic......ugh........guy has been here 2 days and it looks pathetic out there. Can't find Shelby the gift I want for her, shopped all day yesterday.......got her all her small gifts though. gotta read back...... |

Mel I read that as "4 hrs away" and was thinking, that's not far, re-read of course and realized 4 DAY drive......wow , that's hard.

I am hopeful that this is (should be) the last of the dental work for a bit. It seems that I had two teeth - back to back - that were causing the other more problems. Now that I have lost my nerves
 there should be no more pain. Just have to wait for the remainder area around the root canal to calm down. It is a pain in the patootie!I haven't shopped much for anyone besides Sam. I don't think I will be getting him any more than what I did already - a red radio flyer wagon and some books. I bought my mom a new crockpot so she doesn't have to have a locking plyers attached to the switch to be able to turn it on and off. I think I am getting SIL a hair dryer. No idea yet for Dad or brother.

Hi Ladies! A semi busy day here. Cleaning and laundry.. oh and trying ot keep the mud at bay with the dogs running through it.
 Pain in the rear it is. I also had a "me" morning, took a nice bath with SSS.. aww my skin feels dreamy.. lol I hit a little plateau, so I have upped my calories a bit to knock it out. Kinda like the down day/upday thing. Coach recommended it for 2 days, but not to go crazy. just 300 more calories. Christmas shopping is almost done. I had lots of stuff I forgot about last year.. you know when you shop all year and store it till Christmas. Puts me way ahead. I need to shop for my boys, and the grandbaby. DH is set with a purdy leather harley jacket, and a few little things. I am hoping to finish up Monday, then get everything in the mail. My oldest leaves again soon, so they are celebrating before he goes. Gab, I hope you get a reprieve from the dentist for a while. I just love the pics of sam on his birthday, he such a doll. Laura, septic system issues and replacement is a total bummer! Had that issue many many moons ago when I married to the x.. ugg Deb- I look forward to seeing the pics off the roof.. Flavia- Good news on the restroom stuff.. Getting better and better. Tex- hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Misty- still sending prayers. Glad the breathing technique has helped you. When I was still working I taught a self relaxation class to our young military familes- teaching several methods to prevent shaken baby syndrome. The dad's really liked it.

we turned down the offer on the house...
now i guess there is some one else that is looking at it im kinda glad because the dates were in the next month and i have to travel there and pick up our camper...and such.not sure if there will be good weather threw the passes. |

Mel - no biggie on the photos, it's really a mess though. I'm so tired today, slept bad last night with lots of weird dreams and nightmares that kept waking me up....... ? Working a 1/2 shift for a girl at work tomorrow so she can go to the Christmas party, so need to get to bed tonight at a decent time .. before 3 am would be good Had a weird situation with Heather (DIL) recently and it's been a little tense, but she just invited me to go with her and have Shelby's Christmas pics done this Sunday, so maybe we will get back to normal....hope so. My friend that is retired from the post office takes pics and does a great job ! She started a new career after the post office and she loves doing it. Love Shelby's pics every year Supposed to be in the 80's again for next few days. Yuck..

Took an AMbien and had a sprite/amaretto .......went to bed at 1 am and slept till 9:30. yay ! |

Had an awful night's sleep as did Sam. I am punchy this morning. Means that my kids at least find me bizarre and sometimes amusing
LOL. Tired!!! XL coffee and still ready for a nap. Ok, off to try to get a head on some planning for a change. Later gators! |

Okay, confession time, I have been on a self induced "eat whatever you want " until Christmas day binge....... I was off plan for a week around Thanksgiving and got back on LC and the weight came off pretty easily......maybe too easily,.......cause I thought ~ Why should I not enjoy the cooking and baking and all my fav foods, then after Christmas the weight will come right back off ~~ famous last words huh ??
Well, you know my back already went out once, now this morning it's sore again......ugh.... weight is WAY UP....... I mean skyrocketed !! So maybe my giving myself permission to cheat for several weeks was a bad idea. My DH hasn't said a word. but I know he was concerned cause my back hurt for like 10 days straight and it doesn't do that much when I don't have the extra weight pulling on it. ;/ Ok just put the blueberry muffins in the freezer and had sausage and eggs with cheese - gonna take salad and tuna to work in case I get hungry...... It's not that I hate LC'ing ....I love it !! I guess we just trick ourselves into thinking we are deprived and that "we" deserve it . P.S. ~~~ all those smaller clothes look like sh** on me right now :0) |

Thanks girl ! I can get back on easily..... but I sure did buy lots of carbage ...planning on pigging out ya know ??
I just can't believe how fast the pounds pack back on.... I'll get them off. Can't have my back acting up all the time. Off to work 1/2 shift..... ttyl ! ( have my salad and tuna with me ) |

Gab- praying for an easy day for you, so you can get home and get some rest. Laura, I know exactly what you mean by the back hurting more when not eatng right.
