Ham fried up in Coconut oil,two fried eggs
D-Half a cuke in ranch and leftover chicken
S- a couple spears of brocolie in ranch.

I'm not one to really "plan" my meals ahead of time.

Happy Saturday everyone!

I'm up .4 lbs this morning but I feel bloated for whatever reason, so not worried because I've been sticking to plan.

But the frustrating thing is that I've been doing this challenge for 2 weeks without cheating and haven't made any progress and I still have so far to go. I do a lot of LC baking for my son and DH who are also following Atkins and I usually try not to indulge myself. I did have 4 small servings of LC baked items over the past 2 weeks, but those were in place of meals, so my calories and carbs were still in line on those days. I also had Chinese take-out one night at work but I actually called in the order for my whole dept and I specifically ordered for myself shrimp and veggies stir-fried in oil and soy sauce only, no cornstarch, MSG or flour. But who knows what they added as I was up in weight the next morning.

Anyway, I guess for now I can't have anything but the basics if I hope to drop any pounds before Christmas. Congrats to the rest of you guys who are doing so well! I sure hope some of your success in this challenge will rub off on me very soon.

Krazy cat, I have found that when I have lc baked goods I stall. Sounds like you have been very good with it (I just eat them up until they're gone), but I think you are on the right track with the idea of sticking to basics. The other thing to watch out for is not eating enough-- that messes me up as much as eating too much does. Try for three completely legal induction-level meals a day, drink lots of water and I bet you'll see some results. And remember to have legal veggies-- your body needs them.

Krazy Cat- I know it gets frustrating when you don't see anything when you are trying. But keep on keeping on girl. Don't let it be your down fall. I regret letting that be mine. I could of been at goal 5 or 20 times by now. ( I started LC at 13. The first go around. )

Good morning all. Well things have slowed down, for sure. I'm back down to 178, but not at 177 like I wanted. I have had a bad week for eating. no cheats, but lots of skipped meals. Must get back to my normal routine.

I know I am still losing inches, too, so thst's something.

Getting a little frusterated with the weight. I am eating great but am still in the high 150's. Hate this......I know I got Tom, but still. I so wanted to be 155 by next Friday and 148 by the end of January. Don't understand. Hubby is losing a lot, not I......

Anybody else getting sweets as Christmas gifts? I got some chocolates and gave away most of them last night and saved the rest to have Christmas eve.
I also got a bag of home made goodies. Fudge, cookies, cupcakes. I'll admit, I smelled them all and for the most part they smelled way too sweet. I gave away the cupcakes and some cookies. I'll cut the fudge up and shear with my fam.

Hi guys, I'm still hanging in there but just haven't had time to check in since Saturday. I've been crazy busy with work and Christmas shopping/prep. Eating-wise I've been good but it's just not showing up on the scale.

Thanks for the pep talk, Ann and Angel and I'm really trying to follow your marching orders!

I decided to just weigh every other day for the rest of this challenge because the daily weighing was just causing me grief since my weight loss has totally slowed to a crawl---sheesh! In the new year I think I'll go back to weekly or semi-weekly weigh-ins as that routine has worked well for me this past year.

Good morning,

Woke up to my cat bleeding everywhere. Just back from the ER Vet and he is in for surgery What a morning. Broke down last night and had wine and 4 candy canes they were so good. They were 10 carbs each so added that, plus the wine and ended up at 54 carbs for the day. Wasn't too far off. Told hubby we need some sugar free candies and stuff for us for the holiday's so I wont snack on the kids candy canes again. I will be making Sugar Free Sheila's homemade fudge on Saturday. Recipe below:

Sheila's Super-Simple throw together Low-Carb fudge
:
5 total (3.9 net) per square
2 8oz blocks of cream cheese softened
2 1oz squares of unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/2 cup granulated splenda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
smooth together, transfer to baking dish, chill, cut into 8 squares

Man oh man. I did a hill climb on the bike last night But it looks like it was worth it as I weighed in at 198.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yA baby, reached my mini goal

Morning all, I woke up to a rainy & windy day here in NJ and so much to do before Christmas. Well, at least I'm off until the 27th, so I get to spend time with the family in between rushing around like a madwoman! Unfortunately I came down with a wicked cold too, so I have no energy. At least I'm hanging in there eating-wise which hasn't been easy with all the treats around the office for the holidays. Hope you guys are all hanging in there too!

Ann - So jealous, have fun

Got a Harry & David gift package yesterday. Shared the nuts with Hubby then broke open the truffles. OMG they were good. Had 2, not too bad. Was good other then that. Over this Holiday it's hard, but still working on it. Kitty is back home now and looking good. I take hi back Christmas Eve for them to take out the drain, then 2 week for the doctor to take out the stitches. I know he feels a lot better.
