Where did the weekend go--can't believe it's already Sunday night!

Had a hectic weekend doing errands and catching up on stuff for work...so not really fun, but at least I'm keeping to plan. Lost a couple oz. since yesterday, but I'll claim it because weekends are usually when I relax my eating and gain a bit.

Good job on the losses, ladies, and Angel, I know what you mean about possibly too much cream cheese. I know it's good to up our fat ratios but I'm never sure if cream cheese and HWC end up helping or hurting. It comes down to trial and error but I wish I knew if I should be eating less or more. So many variables come into play that it's so difficult to know what's really optimal for me.

I don't drink anything else but white wine. Well not even white wine anymore. or at least not until I am a happy 128-130

Menu:

There are several threads on egg creams, but mine is always one of two options for breakfast.

For a cold one I freeze leftover coffee in ice cube trays and then when I make it dump 2 eggs, a splash of hwc, a teaspoon of sf syrup (I use chocolate) and about 6 of the coffee ice cubes into my blender. Whirl it up and add cold water, as needed.

For a coffee "cappuccino" I use 2 eggs, splash of hwc, some sf syrup and start them whirling in the blender. While the blender is still going I add about 5 to 6 ounces of hot coffee (I use instant if I don't have a pot of freshly made coffee handy). You end up with a nice foam on top and it's surprisingly satisfying.

There is also a great pumpkin egg cream somewhere-- worth finding.

Sounds like everyone is doing great! I haven't had a chance to weigh myself since I have been staying with my boyfriend. I have been doing very well with my eating except having a couple of beers yesterday while watching football. The rest of it I have been on track and I am actually getting the support I need this time at home. Thank goodness makes things easier. I just hope to see a drop when I do finally get to weigh myself. My exercise for now will be cleaning packing and moving boxes up and down the stairs. Then when I finally move and settle in I will activate my gym membership back up.

Hello Ladies . Late and lazy start to my day.
Looks like I just might make my goal of 199 by January. I weighed in today at 203!!! Oh ya!
Got an hour in at gym last night and feeling pretty good. I whiped out though.

Everybody sounds like they are doing pretty good.

Deanna25- Stairs can be a great workout without even thinking that you are working out

pcaltman- I'm glad you're doing well on your wine. For now I discovered dessert wine awhile back...oh boy howdy

Wow,you guys are all doing so well--good for you!! Now me on the other hand... No sooner do I get to 199, then right back up! I've been so busy with work that I'm not eating as well as I should be. Not cheating at all, but just limited as to my food options due to ordering take-out at work and eating dinner really late. Hopefully the gain is just a temporary blip due to too much sodium (or hidden carbs probably) and I can get back to 199 in the next day or so. Crossing my fingers anyway.

Woke up bout 30 minutes ago and have to be to work in an hour. Trying to figure out what to eat as i'm not a huge eater right after I wake up.

Yesterdays menu-

B-black coffee/w cream
D-bacon and two fried eggs
S-cream cheese muffins @ work

Came home and cooked up a steak because I was hungry.

Today Is black coffee probably some quick eggs (maybe i'll just scramble up some undercooked eggs and reheat at work.)

I have chicken thighs in the fridge so i'll prop those in the oven when I get home. Mmmm crunchy chicken skin


slimlizzie- Thank you Have you tried Cocunut oil? I cook my eggs up in it and i'm giving it props for helping my weight loss out.


AnnF- good going! Did I mention i'm totally jealous of your trip?

Morning all!

I had a bad lunch yesterday. It was a catered lunch meeting with corned beef and potatoes and a bunch of other stuff. I had stupidly skipped breakfast, so I was starving. I had the corned beef and veggies (not the potatoes, thogh!) and I know the amount of salt in the beef was crazy.

AngeloftheHeart, well my trip may mess me up food-wise, so don't be too jealous! Between the water weight from flying and staying at a hotel (all meals included) for four days it will be a bit of a struggle to stay clean. But I should do okay in London where I have control of the kitchen. It's a tough time of year-- Christmas and then my birthday is New Years Day. I have to find a balance.

Man I am sore today. Hour on the treadmill last night, also thinking about trying yoga out again. I'm lazy and want to do the least I possibly can. Is that bad Anyways- Scale said today 202. Still not bad and I think and or still hope reaching my goal will happen.

I'll be at my moms for three days, and need to get in some exercise while i'm there for fear i'll start to slack off again back at home. I might just walk her dog.


Yesterdays menu

B- coffee, 4 scrambled eggs cooked in butter CO and topped with cheese.
Half a cuke with ranch.
S- two cream cheese muffins.
D- baked chicken thighs dipped in butter.

Today-
Thus far coffee and I have no idea what else. Maybe i'll pick up a salad mix and do chicken salad. But that's not a lot...
