Well thankyou!!!!! I was just alittle bad today and had a few bites of choc. and other things. I want to say it was controlled but need to RESIST tomorrow...I do not want to go backwards. As for any support I can honestly say I have next to none at home......not to cry about it b/cc my issues are peanuts compared to many out there. Thankyou gals and I will remain accountable. You should of seen the 2ft box of Russel Stovers wee got from a patient today....in the breakroom........

Oh my goodness......That smell will drive you mad.....would me.....be brave you can do it or you could ease up a bit and let your body relax a tiny bit during the Holidays. Say with Russel Stovers sugar free candy. A couple pieces don't hurt that much. But cut back a little on fat consumption......IMHO I think it is kinder on our liver, than sugar.....shards of glass......

Down to 140 today. On an antibiotic that I cannot eat 2 hours before and after and should steer clear of dairy. 2 more days on it...

Thanks, ladies! I was pretty good. It was a sit-down limited-lunch menu. I had a little of this, and a taste of that, and one glass of wine. A success for me..... I'm up 2lbs, but I am 100% sure it's water and I'll be at my pre-lunch weight by tomorrow as long as I'm good today...

The next 5 days are critical for all of us.....

Had the Christmas thing at school today, white knuckled it and stayed away from the sugar, but too much meat/fat. After school took my dad to the grocery and loaded up on chocolate desserts for Christmas! Will indulge then. Eating is up again since going off the cold meds and antibiotic, but determined to "not eat cake" til Christmas

TC thanks for the info on the exercise, sounds like you have a great instructor! I was on crutches for six weeks and now I am in a walking boot, so I am actually excited to exercise..its been so long since I moved.

Oh Lizzie - six weeks on crutches! ...Ugh. And now the boot!?! I feel your pain and impatience! I injured myself exactly two months ago today, and finally got my boot off about two weeks ago and for the first time - just today went for a walk! I can't believe I got to move.
It was a short walk with the dog, but it was something! You'll get there soon enough.
Take it easy. Don't get discouraged!

(And honestly I cannot believe how my...um...fluff ...has expanded.......... It's just not fair. )

Siiiiiick! Had a great Christmas and hope y'all did too. We spent it at our ds and ddil's ranch (near Seguin, for Laura and others who know Texas). Ddil, dgs, and her identical twin are stuck in the snow mess and power outage in Arkansas now. They went there to be with their dm and dsf. Had lots of trouble getting there -- finally had to abandon the car at the bottom of the last hill because they couldn't get up the icy hill. Parents were in the midst of moving into their new home when the storm hit. They have a whole home generator for it, but not all the furniture and clothing yet and how long can that generator keep going? On the + side, dgs is seeing lots of snow!

If I'm not around for a few days, I'm in bed trying to get over this cold & allergies. Have a great weekend and Happy New Year!

Third day back on plan and I'm down a little. Haven't had induction flu so far. May the HC overload I've been on is offsetting it.

Had plans to get a dent made in putting away Christmas decorations this morning...Best laid plans of mice and men. However, I did:

-Clean out/straighten 3 kitchen drawers
-Straighten two linen closets
-Fold and put away all the laundry from DS and DD and families who were here almost a week.
-Gather a lot of the decorations onto the dining room table

Right now I'm sitting with sick DH watching action movies with him. As soon as he nod off and I can snake the remote from his clinched hand, it will be a romcom for me.

I am in a carb crap hole too. Being under the weather with back trouble and now a bad cold has not helped since I comforted myself with not so great choices. Today is a new day though and I am mending and somewhat optimistic again.

It seems a lot of us have had physical ailments this year end and have been victims of horrible weather. Hugs all around and lots of sympathy. 2013 will be better! Back on plan!
