I find myself eating and stressing at the same time.

Let's drop the extra pounds before New Year's Day !!! I am going to record my food intake and track the calories, fat, fiber and protein to see if I can do better with this !!! Hope to drop 5 pounds !!!

I had to resist all the christmas cookies and treats today at class party. Came home and gave all the treats to hubby and son.

Good For You !!! I didn't realize that you are a teacher! That is extremely stressful, but rewarding (at times). Teaching will make anyone gain weight - cortisol/stress factor. I was an elementary school secretary for 30 years. My daughter taught elementary school for 10 years, but left teaching last year to work for a government contractor. It boils down to the $$$. She misses the kids, but not the stress that goes along with teaching. Enjoy your Holiday Break !!! And keep resisting the temptations
of the season !!!

Thanks Susan! Glad you had a good day too.I teach preschoolers and the even the everyday snacks are carby and hard to resist! We are off now until Jan 2., so hopefully I can get a good handle on my eating and be more in control when class resumes. Next challenge Christmas dinner at my mom's. She is the greatest cook ever and makes everything from scratch. Honestly, I don't even know if I want to set myself up by saying I won't have anything at all at the dinner. I need to think about it.

Oh! What Fun! You have the little ones!!! (My daughter started out with kindergarteners, then moved to 1st grade and then ended up with 3rd graders! Her favorite was 1st graders. Now she only has to take care of her 2 year old twins! She'll always be a teacher in my eyes! It is an honorable profession!)
We are having our traditional lasagne Xmas dinner - and I'll eat a small portion, some salad and no bread. Enjoy your momma's cooking ! Momma's aren't around forever!!!
