Oh no!!!! That is no good at all!!!!! Your both sick now? Yuck, there is nothing worse than exploding from either end!

Well the oldie finally countered and I said no. So just going to let that go and not give it another thought. Silly old man! He is getting evicted in 2 months..should take the money!

G went roller skating tonight and when I went to pick her up ended up coming home with another kid as well! Oh well, she is a nice girl so I don't mind!

Kohl's shopping trip is scheduled tomorrow for 10 am! Going to drop off the extra kid on the way and then spend my casino winnings! Did tell SIL we would come up for lunch and then will head back home. Its a city wide rummage sale and DB is busy with their sale so we should be able to eat in peace

Ok, off to bed. I am tired!!! Hope you and the Hunk can get some good sleep and feel better in the morning!

I just saw this while I was shutting off the TV, I just thought it was cute. The little mini entertainment center is so cute! I get a kick out of commercials sometimes!

Hiya!!

Bee-bopped with the Hunk a little bit this morning. We hit some thrifty shops, and a couple markets. I'm still -not right-!! We spoke with the produce fellows over at the market where I purchased the cucumbers at...and they were able to say that their Cukes came from Mexico, just as the Salmonilla infested ones did...but didn't know about any issues with them. I don't know...but we're not taking any chances with them, so we returned the remaining one we had.

I'm wore out!! I'm gonna try to snag a nap!!

What's happening around here?! Loty how was your galavanting in Syrup World? Did you guys have a good time?

Good Golly, it has been so windy here today!! I think Max may have become spooked by it all. I waited on him for a century this evening, to come home. I was really starting to worry about that boy & feel so guilty that he may have hiked off somewhere. FINALLY he came on back home!! We spent lots of time hanging out & chatting about how he shouldn't keep trying to run away from home.

I'm so ready for sleeps tonight!! I hope you girlz had a Good day today!! I'll see you tomorrow!!

Good Blustery Sunday!!

By golly I think the *icks* over the passed few days have really steam rolled my energies!! But, I think I may be turning the corner with this whole mess.
We churched it up this morning. Good and timely message for me to hear and helped me sort thru (some) of my unsettled turmoil, regarding my Dad and the tension that I feel between us right now. Relationships can be so hard!!
We came home to make big family style salads & napped. I jusssst woke up. Gotta transfer some laundries over & load the dw.
More importantly, I'm trying to think on some landscape plans for the backyard. Priority #1 is to build a green house. We're considering rocking the whole yard back there, for the low maintenance factor...but I think that shoud also include walking paths, some raised garden beds, an ADULT swing set, a play area for the kids...that could include grass, some trees for privacy, and some for their edibles...like almonds. Oh yeah, and a compost area. We have the material to begin on the greenhouse floor...mostly. I think we just need to grab some concrete piers, but the wood, we have. Soooo, I think that means that we just need to settle on the exact spot, and clear/flatten it. That should burn a few calories off!!

What are all y'allz up to?!

Hey you and I are like sharing a brain today!

Thats precisely what I have been doing today!!! Yard planning! We got all the beds in the front yard cleaned up today and the plants that survived the winter and the stinking flood we just had all pruned and ready for the growing season.I lost a lot though so I was online looking at new plants. I also am going to revamp some things.

I suggest pinterest for all your planning needs! Spent a lot of time on there looking at ideas!

OMG just thought of something I saw! You and Rob would love I think!

I think the pillars are a little rediculously large, you wouldnt have to make them that big. *I* would also add some pretty white flowy curtains if it were me

here are others.

I am wondering about a real mattress outside. I think if you got one of those plastic bed protectors that you zip the whole thing in it would work. You can always just put a fun sheet on it and if it gets wet....who cares just change it!

Hmmm....this might make it to my yard one day too

Sorry your still going through stuff with Dad! I thought maybe it was over since you hadn't said much.

Tomorrow I have to work but am just going to go in from 8-11. I had worked extra last week so that I could take most of the day off. The kids are off. I don't think we are doing anything just staying home. I have more stuff to do around here anyway.

My feet are killing me today! Too much walking yesterday and then working in the yard all day and we took Buddy for a walk tonight. My dogs are hurting now!

So much convo left to be had & things to comment and ask about...and now I have to go to bed!! No, correction...because I've been busting tail on the house all evening, I still have a bed to make, with fresh bedding , before the sleeps can happen. I read another article that skeeved me out about bed bugs & such...so, and impromptu bedding wash.

More chatting tomorrow!! I will sleep on some of the ideas you've shared...like the swing w/mattress & waterproof matteress cover!! What a bloody brilliant idea, Lote!!
Niteage!!

Yo, Happy Monday Morning!!

Up & at 'em over here!! I've got my list prepared & I'm workin' it!! I moved our left over wood boards (from the shed building project), outta the way for the green house project. Broke down the saw horses, stored the wheel barrow, and organized the Hunks left over construction mess. Now...I believe we'll measure off the area & I'll get my instructions from the man on where to dig, to set the pier blocks. We've decided to go with a 6X16 footer, along the North side fence...south facing. So excited!!

So, Loty, that's such a shame that you lost so many of your plants!! What a drag!! You said that you were lookin' at some future ideas for plants...didja settle on any you're excited about? Where would you put your hangy/lounger swing if you were to build one into your area? Would you have privacy where you're thinking? I like the idea of hanging the sheer white curtains, for many reasons. The low cost of them, the ease of removing them for storage and cleaning, and the sheerness of them, so as to still be able to kinda see out. That's what I've decided we will do for the *walls* of our patio cover. That's necessary because the brilliant builders built a two story right back behind us, and they can see right onto our deck. NOT a fan of that!!

Boy you were busy yesterday!! It sounds like you got a lot done!!

What's the planaroo for the day?!

Hi Naty!! That's great that you & your sister had some hang out time yesterday!! Did you two shop for anything, or just hanging out?

Well you have been busy busy already!!

I like those cement block footing things. Much easier! Part of the deck that is right by the pool is those so no digging right by the edge of the pool...just in case! Do you have a plan for the greenhouse? What are the plans for it? Can you grow things all winter in there?

Of I put one of those hanging beds up I would want to privacy fence the yard I think . I would like to anyway but its not on the agenda for this year. My *hopes* for this year is to get the patio/fire pit area done. The kids LOVE those hammock chair swings have you seen them?

I have the bug so bad to go to the garden dept and buy some plant.....but I have to wait. Its too early. So I will pout and wait! I found some online that I liked..had my cart loaded but didn't buy. Because I know they are all bare root or bulbs and I want bigger plants.

So went to work and then came home and we had lunch. I am sooooo sore!!!!!!!! All that raking yesterday did me in! I think the plan is to take a nap and then housework. When ML gets home we will probably go back outside and maybe get all the furniture out and cleaned off.

Well told SIL tonight I no longer wanted to be a part of all the reindeer games. Asked how she would like to proceed from here.

G is singing on Wed at a baseball game and she wanted to know if DB can come. So I just said no not really. Its my childs day and I didn't want it ruined with him coming causing so much tension for us. Then told her the best we can hope for is cordial and what would she like me to do. We can have a big pow wow and try to work out a solution with boundaries and guidelines, we can try to communicate through letters and email, or we can just completely avoid from now on. She is less than thrilled with me .....whatev. Deal. She feels threatened by everyone right now because she is getting the same feedback from everyone. Well well well thats what happens when you run your drunken mouth to everyone at a wedding. She vented to everyone she knows at the wedding and opened the flood gates for everyone to give their opinion

So anyway will see what happens tomorrow.

"Well well well thats what happens when you run your drunken mouth to everyone at a wedding." This sentence is just crackin' me up!! You are hilarious, Loty!!
So, the line has been drawn. It'll be interesting to see what she decides to do with this. Especially if she stops to consider that this is not an isolated incident at this point. Well good for you, for sharing the truth with her. I'm sure that wasn't an easy convo to be having.
At least now you can feel at ease that you won't have to endure much interaction with the DB...I hope. Oh yeah, that reminds me!! How was your syrup festival?! Did you guys have fun?!

As for the journal, I think I used it for a weeks worth. I was finding it really helpful in that it has a little checklist type thing, to keep track of the exercise for the day, and that was really keeping me in line. OKKKKK, I'll pull mine back out & use it tomorrow!!

Max followed me back over here to our place today, and insisted on coming in, to hang out. So, it seems that all the kids are frenamies now.
He's been over here most all day. As you can see, he made himself right at home on the kid couch. He's very sheddddy right now, so it's good that he took a liking to that spot, as I've got it covered with that blanket...just for that reason!!

Long day!! For as much fun as it was to have the boy over to visit...I'm tired of the referring between he & the K9 kids. I just returned from putting Max up for the night, over at his homestead, and now...I must go throw myself to bed.

Goodmorning Peeps!!

Todays to-dooz involve hittin' the dailys, some office filing, and debri'ing the backyard of the kids bones, toys & such...as the Hunk may have only a half day at work tomorrow & has said he might wanna mow back there.
Also, I've been on the hunt for a car magnet that would have a basic picture/drawing of an overheated looking dog and some verbiage like; "Hot cars kill pets". There are only a couple options that I've been able to find on the internet, and I'm just not totally crazy about them. So...there's a company I've worked with before, that will produce the design I submit to them and are very reasonably priced. I'm not thrilled with my 1st attempt at drawing this heat stroking dog. I was hoping to have him look much cuter & yet sadly pathetic at the same time.
NATY!! Help!!
Your pup drawing is very cute!!
That's a hard spot to be in...when you feel pushed aside/replaced by your loved one, for their newest fave person. I would imagine your sister does mean it when she says she wants to spend more time hanging out with you. I'd bet that she misses you & the closeness you've shared, very much. Hang in there!!

Loty!! What are you up to today?! Do you get to have the day off?! Is a nap gonna be involved?! I saw some of your pinteresty garden ideas!! Love them!! So many good ideas to consider!! Yes, the idea for the greenhouse is to protect the plantages from the cold & surprise freezes we get. Also, the latest salmonilla experience really kinda has me ticked off, in that we're paying so much $ for inferior foods that end up being contaminated & causing us to become sick. I can make us sick myself & on the cheap!!

What is the happs around here today?!
