Can you see them now??? Weird I can see the other ones too

Oh you know my computer does that freezing thing a lot lately too. Have to wait like a minute or two for it to start working again. I noticed it a lot when we switched to satelite tv. I think my computer is so old its not compatible with the faster/newer equipment. Anyway BIL is a computer geek he told me where to look to see how many RAM or something or other my computer has. He said if it is 1 then I should think about a new laptop. Oh yeah...its 1. But this is 8 years old so its probably time.

Ewwww!! I took a nap here on the couch & wolk up feelin' all gurgy. So I took myself to bed & slept off whatever my issue was. Better not have been the dip!! Cause we have like 16 more!!
I think they were priced *very* high. I tore off to go smell the wax tarts & left my Dude behind to pick the dips. They were being offered at 3 for $10. I wouldn't have bought them...but I could see that he landed at that table with a mission...so, I thought he'd just pick 3. Nope. $30 later & the seller Dude threw in 2 for free. Holy canoly man!!

Yes!! I can see these latest piccys you posted!! Awwwwe!! I was just wondering yesterday how things were going with the love connection you'd coordinated. That's soooo Awesome!!
YOUR Buddy~Bo is very handsome!! Somehow he looks quite different to me than he did from his kitchen photo the other day. Maybe it's just that he doesn't have his halloween eyes on him this time.
I understand that having to let him go must have been real tough for your Aunt & Uncle. They just had to make the very same decision you did for your Bunny girl. And, of course they're probably full of joy too, knowing the quality of life that's just opened up for him. That would be so Awesome if it turns out that he enjoys being a -special visitor-for folks!! Bet your Aunt & Uncle would feel really good about that too.

Oh yah...no, I don't know how to knitt, at all. I have needles, yarn and a project I'd started about 2 yr.'s ago, that was to teach me...then we started our move process & I packed it. AND, I don't know the difference between knitting and crocheting. I'm gonna guess that the mittens were knitting and crocheting is maybe more like the afghan blankets we've inherited from a couple of our Grandma's. I guess I'll need to figure this out...or I may try to crochet/knitt an afghan mitten!!
Hey!! A person in the know could probably crank out leg warmers real easily too!! Oh and wouldn't it be easy to use 2nd hand store sweaters for these projects?! The mittens I saw today were priced at $18!!

This mitten talk reminds me...we drove past the outdoor skating rink, twice last evening, on our way to the library. It was their first night opening for the season. It looked so dreamy & they had all kinds of white lights up for their decorations.

I was thinking, as I was dozing off for the 2nd nap...poor Mr. Loty has both his Ma & Uncle in health care situations right now. That must be really tough on all of you. So sad that his Uncle is having a hard time with the tubes & such. It must be really frightening coming out of the dope & having all the aperatus attached to him.
How is your MIL doing in her new diggs?

Speaking of lap tops...I just dropped mine from off the couch, while trying to help Ace up onto the couch with me. And, as it turns out...he didn't even really want up here. I've busted the power cord up real good and part of the side of my keyboard area is jacked up. As for it's lagging & stalling, I dunno age is probably a factor here. It's nearly a decade old now!!

Oh yah, eaty Mc. Eat'ster yesterday...looked something like this...

B: LC Tortilla w/ beefy taco mix & beans, cheddar, sourcream & salsa. Diet sodi-Coffee w/hwc
L: Shredded Roast Beef-Montery Jack-2 Hardboileds
D: Almond crackers & Wasabi~Spendy~Dip
I don't recall if there was more to this... It seems like there may have been...cuzz that looks kinda light, for the likes of me!!

Churched it out this morning. Met a gal named "Shawl-Marie". Isn't that an unusaul name?! I hope I didn't come off as rude, as I was trying to understand what she was saying...and sure I must not be hearing her right...I offered her another option, a couple times..."Shawn-Marie?" "Oh, Shawna-Marie?" When she said "No, Shawl, like you wear over your shoulders." I was like......ummm......"That's interesting...who & how came up with that?!"

I've found you-tubage that I'm going to learn how to knitt from. Yes KNITT. That's what they say. Also, Rob went hunting for my packed away yarn, needles and booklet tutorial on how to knitt, and found it all!! So, I'm about to be in bizz!!

Just woke up from a lonnng comatose nap. I'm ready to dive into my knittin' learnin'!!

So far today for eats...

B: LC burrito & Bacon-Coffee w/hwc
L: LC burrito & Dip w/Almond crackers
Coffee w/hwc

What's up in the Loty-Kingdom today?!

So water park was a bust! Its a new park built at the casino. The indians usually go BIG but this was tiny and meant for 3 year olds! Totally wasted $150.00

After went to a buffet for dinner don't ask. All you need to know is that I had on elastic pants Breakfast was 2 eggs 3 bacon, Lunch-nada, dinner-salad, 1 plate of junk, small scoop of ice cream with chocolate.

Do you think it was the dip that made you ill feeling?? Hope not!!! I agree, even at 3 for 10 they are a lot aren't they!? Maybe if one of us has the gumption we should see if there is a home made version online!

Knitting does make MUCH nicer hats and gloves!! Hope you figure it out! $18 would make you like 487 pairs of gloves! I have tried crocheting gloves....don't like them. I should try knitting again.....I just never could get the hang of it!

So guess Buddy is staying Buddy. I thought my Aunt and Uncle had changed his name but turns out thats been his name since he was a pup. Got his story, he was the result of a nasty divorce. Was the hubby's dog and the wife won him in the battle for spite. He was kept on a chain outside and starved. Not sure how he ended up at the pound if he was taken away or was turned in by her. So you saw him there on the couch. He weighs 73 lbs now and is not heavy at all but when he was adopted by my Uncle he weighed 55 lbs Some people are such A-holes!!!! Did see he most likely about 5.5 years old which seems about right. But he will be a little harder to train at that age although not impossible. Will start getting going on heel. He walks nice on a leash but doesn't heel and that will be a requirement to pass the therapy dog test.

MIL is feeling back to normal but she faked it sooo much the Docs want her to stay longer. serves her right! Called me today to tell me she is having so much anxiety over being there. Yeah...duh! She is absolutly not to get out of bed unless she calls for a nurse to be with her I think this is funny! She totally deserves it! But.....I told her if they won't let her out to check her self out tomorrow AMA. Sort of by necessity. Mr.Loty can pick her up tomorrow but other than that it would take major rearranging of schedules to get her. With the Holiday and I have to work my 3 days at the begining of the week plus all the kids stuff Oh and they want a family meeting with a social worker to figure out her after care...well they can call me I. I can't drive over an hour one way to talk to someone about nonsense! I flat out just told her the next time this happens if there is a next time she does not get a say. I am the one stuck doing everything so what I say goes! She should have been in the facility a few minutes from my house i knew she was faking it and now she is not having any fun at all!

Um...Shawl-Marie??? Thats weird!! How old was she??? I swear before people have babies they should pick out names...some people get the dumb pregnancy brain so bad and then end up naming the baby nonsence like that! Can you imagine if she had a career in politics? Shawl-Marie signs would be all over!

How are you making those burritos you been munching????

OH---did get walks in all weekend too! but that is as much as I got in. Still haven't even cracked those DVD's out

Oh man!! That is such a HUGE Bummer about your waterpark bust up!! BOGUS!!
Your *elastic buffet pants* cracked me up!! MMMmmmMmm, chocolate buffet party!!
I like your idea of coming up with our own dippy mixes!! We may be already onto a tex-mex dip...as I've stolen a recipe from somewhere, for a taco seasoning that has turned out really well in ground beef...so, I'd think just mixing that into sourcream would be a winner to try. Next time I make a mexi~dish...I'll try to remember that we wanna know about this!!

Buddy sounds like such a loving, good boy. People that harm & neglect little ones...well, they make me wanna go after them in the most un-godly kinda ways. RAAAGE!! I'm so happy Buddy has you guys for his family!!

I can't fathom how you're balancing all that's on your plate right now, between your *very high maintenance* MIL, fitting in your new walking workouts w/Buddy...including a bit of training, and all that you do with work, kiddo's, schooling and now having to put on your Thanksgiving Party too!! That's remarkable!! Would you come over & gimme' a hand preparing some Jalapeno Bacon poppers this afternoon...during your down time?!

Yepp, I wonder if the unusual name coulda came about when in the hospital, after the baby was born, the mother was chilly and asks the nurse..."shawl, Marie?"...during the time that someone else is filling out the name card??

The burrito munching has been easy-peasy to throw together. I'm using a LC whole wheat tortilla, throwing down some cheddar onto it...and a blend of homemade taco seasoning spiced burger/refried beans...heating it, and then topping w/salsa & sourcream. BAM!! Oh yeah, and a trail of sliced /pickled jalapenos!! Gotta get my spice on!!

The knitting is going very well!! I'll post piccys in a bit!! I've gotta get to assembling those poppers...seein' as how I have reason to believe that my "help" won't actually show to do her part!!

Oh yeah,
B:1 hardboiled egg-2 ounces cream cheese-1 Tblsp. Peanut Butter-Coffee/hwc.....and I'm thinking along the lines of 2nd B: now!!

Earlier today I was looking out the window & thinking ---Oooh, Yay...man it's soooo windy out!!---And then I spot our garbage cans rollin' on pass, out in the road, blowin' our bizz all up in the hood for everyone to see!! That was the end of that *Oh yay moment!!* I had to go bookin' out there in my full on haggard bag lady get up & slippers, to go jump around & try to retrieve all that crap floatin' & whippin' up in the winds!! I was thinking that this must be the way those folks feel when they're in those $$ chambers & tryin' to grab all they can!! Except my grabs were for crap & the wind was blowing soooo hard that all my LC ice cream boxes were smackin' me in the face while I was tryin' to grab them up!!

Well little Jack has some outdoor allergies. As well as they think maybe he got a flea bite and is have a terrible reaction to that. Although he doesn't have fleas and neither do the other 2 so He is on a fairly aggressive prednisone dose for the next 2 weeks. Already some improvment on the itching after just one dose!!!! Poor guy I hope his hair grows back ok where he ate it!

Whoa, so Jack has Ninja fleas?! Fleas that nobody can see, and therefore can't confirm were ever there, but they have *definitely* been chompin' on 'em?! What kinda super powers did the vet use to figure that one out?! In any case, it sounds like his dope is helping him with whatever allergic reaction he's having. Poor little sweetheart.

I JUST caught that recipe note of yours up above!! That recipe looks soooo good & full of flave!! Oh man!! I'm gonna haveta-haveta!!

That is sooooo YAY that you're gonna get to have a 4 day stretch off!! YAH!! Will Mr. Loty have any of the same days off during that time?! I can't wait to hear what his plans are for you guys?!
So why not shoppy~shoppy with your girlpal this time around??

How's M's Uncle doing??
That's funny about MIL having to pack the walker home!! I totally -get- taking enjoyment out of little self inflicted sitchys like this!!

Yesterdays funny: Backstory--> We have Ma's old cordless phone/answering system. She replaced hers, and passed along this set to us. It was cooler than ours, so we accepted. This was months ago. So yesterday it starts jackin' us around with flashing some code on the display area that we don't know how to inturpret, and haven't bothered to look up in the manual. So while we're just pushing random buttons, trying to fix it by accident, we stumble upon Ma's old outgoing message. She's recorded ( in her voice of course) the very same outgoing message on her current answering machine. So we decided to leave her old outgoing message on ours...for fun!!
So...she calls over here yesterday...hears HER outgoing message...and hangs up. Then does it again, and again, and agian. So I call her and ask if she's been calling us. She TRIPS out trying to explain to me how there's something wrong with her phone, cause it keeps dialing back to her phone & getting her answer machine...but it doesn't ring her phone on her end...cause she's on the phone, and she's CERTAIN that she's dialing our # right!!
Ahhhhh, Awesomeness!! This sorta thing brings me HUGE satisfaction!!

As for Thanksgiving planaroo's...I don't want any this year. Last year I was volunteered to host, for out of state family, and decide then & there...that I intended to grinch thru the next one. I think I will crock a big ole ham overnight on Wednesday though...so we'll pork it out on hammys on Thursday.

OMG you should be writing this stuff down!!!! You can't make up stuff that funny! So did you end up changing the message or you just leaving it to torture her??

Yeah Ninja fleas it is!!! Weird anyway he's on meds so whatever he got into should be fixed. I was the same way though. Like WTH??? He hasn't got fleas!

No Mr. Loty only has thursday off. He usually closes black Friday so I can shop but he has to open And be in at 2:45 I would have MIL watch the kids but thought since she is basically a crippled old woman now I best not!
I have dinner at my house but this year is going to be low key! His big idea....he will do the grocery shopping tonight for me. Which is awesome but the way he went on and on I was expecting super awesomness!

The uncle...no more word so must be doing ok

I'm on TOM First time since the D&C but its SUPER bad again Will see how long it goes for.

I was terrible today!!!!

I may throw in the towel until Friday, whats the point?! You know I am going to have to taste all the crap I am cooking! Did get my 45 min walk in! I am going to toot my own horn and say I am super happy that I am keeping up on that!! Now if I could only add a little more something in

So when I text on my phone I have a hard time since it is touchscreen and not real buttons. I am always saying crap that I don't mean. One little letter off sure does change a sentence a WHOLE lot!!!

Txted DH that I would email him a list of all the "thongs" I want

Bet that got his attention stat!!!!

I say 6 can of cream of mushroom soup, he buys the family size....you get the picture. I say a bag of frozen green beans, he buys 10 cans Oh I am just....grrrrrr

Whew ...I feel better now!

Oh no!! What a shame!! Uggghhh, that's such a pain...especially when you've gone to the trouble of being very specific with your instructions, so as to avoid this very thing. LOSE!! Totally been there!!

I think you're doing SUPER~Duper with your Buddy walks!! You're being Super consistant with it & for nice chunks of time!! Way to go!! I need to pull some inspiration from you on this!! I will throw myself onto the R-bike tonight...like it or not!!
As for your towel throwing with your eaty McEats, till Friday...I bet you'll make Good choices & won't toss the towel too far!! You're gonna do just fine!!

Rob & I got such a laugh outta your thumbling fast fingers texting to M about your -Thong- needs!! I was reading your note & cracking up & Rob neeeeeded to know what was sooooo funny...then we were both bustin' up.

Oh yeah, I left Ma's outgoing message on the machine. I get my entertainment where I can!!

I'm sooooo Glad to hear that you're gonna get to have some down time for a few days. It sounds like this is coming at a good time, with Tom & all. Are you in pain as well? That's such a bummer about not getting to hang with your friend & get your shop on this year. I bet she's gonna really miss that time with you too.

I found some stretchy-cotton 96%/spandex 4%, whopper girl jeans today, that are tapered...kinda like leggings. They're light weight...which is good, cuzz I'm NOT!! With not knowing how/if they're gonna shrink, I bought two different sizes...Whopper and Whopperific.

So lunch was a carby chili, out of a can w/some SPICY sausage slices, cheddar, onion, jalapenos and sourcream.
Road snacks were a hardboiled egg-couple sm. squares of jack cheese, a couple slices of canadian bacon-ham & a diet sodi.
I've had coffee w/hwc since I've been back home & now I'm hungry-man STARVIN'!!

Ooh, pics of jeans???? I NEED some and just can't bring myself to buy them This is so embarrassing, I have 2 pairs of jeans thats it. One of them doesn't really fit but I squeeze into them and have stretched out the zipper part So gross! Plus if they are skinny leg you can get cute boots! Well unless you have sausage legs like me No boots fit these legs!!

yup get your fitness on with that bike tonight!! Whats the temps like at your place these days? You still going to get snow tomorrow? Will your pups walk outside in the cold. Do they need little sweaters? I am not sure what the hey I am going to do when the cold starts!!! Going to have to just suck it up and brave it!

So whats your Mom doing for Turkey day? Do you get to just have a jammie day with the hunk or is she going to be coming over? Oh how I love jammie days and staying at home doing nothing!!!

You know I am so in denial about the time of year! We will be putting the trees up this weekend! Maybe on thursday we can do the outside lights

Knitting project gone wild...see the extra unwanted loop...I continued on, leaving it to become part of the *character*, cuzz I didn't know how to trouble shoot it out.
Pretty & warm scarf that I did not make cuzz I do not know how.
Our little submarine boy, who loves to wear clothing.

Yeah, we're looking at getting snow overnight, tomorrow & tomorrow night. As for walking the pups in the snow weather...I really don't know. This is the first season of snow that I've been up & functioning. Last yr. I was still recouping from diabetes complications...and we all just layed real low. So, going on our 2nd yr. here, and the snows have just began. I'm leary of taking these little guys out when it's snow/freezy cold, but if I did, I would certainly try to bundle them up. I've seen the little shoe/booties that are sold & have wondered how well they might work.

I hear ya on the limited jean sitchy. The legging jeans I picked up today...are my ONLY jeans that will work right now. EVERY other pair I have is in a size 8...and none of those are made with spandex, or have elastic waist bands.
The ones I grabbed today are from Shopko. Do you have one of those stores?

We will probably pass along some Ham to Ma, on Thursday, and she's already put her order in for the Split Pea soup that will result from the bone & some of the leftovers...but otherwise....nahhh, we've all done the traditional whoopla long enough. Yes, jammie day is likely to go down over in these parts!!
Who all is partying at your house on Thanksgiving?!

oOooOooh!! I'd LOVE to see piccy's of your decorations, tree...all of it!!

Correction...I have other sizes, than just 8. What I mean is I'm about as likely to sqeeze into ANY of my jeans as I am the 8's.

FINE!! I'll get on that R-bike right now!!

Happy Last Day of Worky for the Week for Loty!! YIPPEE!!

Here's a pair of Loty boots!! Traditional boot calf sizes are made to fit 14inches around...these fit 16inches around.

*Tiffany Wide Calf Riding Boot, $69.95, available at DSW, up to calf circumference 16 in.*

NEATO!! I LIKE those!!

Ok so....

Ace and his little costumes!!!! How cute that he likes to get gussied up!!! i be the would wear booties this winter!

your knitting is looking great! Even with the little extra loop! If you put a big button on them or tie some puffballs on you won't even notice!!!

The scarf....super cute!

The pants..... I feel you pain sister!!! But with those cute boots and a long shirt we could still pull it off! I always think it is cute when people wear scarves too but I feel fatter with added bulk around my neck I wear them outside but not with outfits. My standard work or going anywhere is a long tank top with some sort of bedazzling LOL, over jeans or black stretchy dress pants, with a long light weight sweater/cardigan thing. Just bought a leopard print one and wore it yesterday. I am an 18 also, possible a 20 since I am testing the seams of the 18's pretty hard core. oh and the fact that I can't bend over in button up pants or I potentially can get a little puking or heartburny feeling in my throat

stupid scales!!!!!! Well, your TOM will mess with things too! At least you jumped back on the bike! I tend to get the attitude like why am I even trying if its going in the wrong direction! But...this time I am trying to be smarter and realize I will not have instant results and it just how life is going to be from now on. Failures will happen but hopefully more success than failures! I have to think that even if the scales or clothes aren't showing much improvement something internal must be benefiting from the diet or the walking!

that was a clever note to the Hunk! How cute! I can see how that would start to be a burden trying to think up that many notes!!! Would be hard after a bit! I am sure he really enjoys it though!

Its not going to be crazy here this year. Just MIL thats it! Usually I have 9, which isn't bad but when they are all together they irritate each other and its gauranteed that either MIL or her daughter will end up in a complete hissy fit mood. They dig at each other bad and are both sensitive to what the other is saying that they can't ever joke and tease or it becomes WW111 And SIL husband is a complete dork!!! He is very chauvinistic which I don't deal with well! But on the flip side he and SIL split the bills 50/50 and keep separate accounts which I also find weird. He wants full control and women are dumb but then wants her 50/50 with finances.....uhg don't get me going on him

Oh, how thoughtful!! Had SIL mentioned that she'd be bringing her donations over or was this a surprise? That's just not an easy *gift* to receive.

The legging jeans...they are an 18/20. Didn't know how/if they were gonna shrink up...so I also grabbed a size up from that too!!
At least I can still wear the one size fits all...earrings.
The way you described putting your outfits together sounds very nice.
I like the idea of the boots, leggings & long shirt. I'm finding it kinda tricky finding a *flattering* long shirt. It's tough...when most of the body is the trouble area...that's a lot to cover!!
Your leopard sweater sounds scandalous!! Piccy?!

It sounds like you're gonna happily avoid a whole lot of unnecessary drama, with keeping some of the fam at bay tomorrow!! Very good plan!!
Do you guys enjoy the traditional left over turkey sandwiches the next day? MmMMMmmm...that's sucha fave!!

I stumbled upon some *Butterscotch Toffee* coffee, at Safeways today. When I get a -new- flavor, I always try it at full strength (3 scoopers for a pot), so as to get a real taste of it...then usually use 1 scoop of it & 2 of our regular dark roast Yuban...so as to just add a bit of flave to our reg. It was ok full strength...but I think we'll enjoy it best when it's just a hint of the flavor.

Bought a box of Andy's mints. When I make the bed, I provide "turn-down" service, of the bedding, just like the hotels...and now, a mint too. FANCY!!

Umm...she said she had goodies for me Sad thing is she used to be bigger than me She has lost 50lbs, took 2 years and probably has 50 to go at least but looks tons better! I really am glad for her, really I am. Just don't especially want her fat clothes

thats so cute of you to offer turn down services!!! You do the nicest things for your Hunk I need to take lessons from you! I don't hardly ever do above and beyond things for Mr. Loty anymore. We have and understanding that we are in the backseat for now but I should do cute little things like that, it wouldn't take much. Funny thing for whatever reason do you find a lot of people are bent out of shape if you mention you do stuff for him? I remember one time my Mom being at the house and I had got up to get a drink and DH asked for something, ice cream I think from the kitchen and she went ape sh*t. "Don't you dare cater to a man......blah blah blah" I get it from friends too that I know, weird. Not sure why people are so opinionated about that

I never really taste much in the flavor coffee, your cinnamon trick is the best thing so far! And oh yeah....turkey didn't make the cut I usually do a turkey on the grill and a ham, just the ham this year. Turkey will have to wait for another day. Everyone in the fam likes ham and only half like turkey thats why it was cut. I didn't plan on only having MIL, the others just had stuff come up. But totally fine with me!!!! BIL is coming next week for the weekend. We are going to go see the Nutcracker ballet.

Sweater is not that exciting..but when it comes out of the laundry I will take a pic!
