Ahhh. Maybe this will help. Kinda like sitting in a chair over and over. Tho there are a lot of different ways to do them

I'm back. My Dads funeral was yesterday. He had a military funeral. I was so sad with all the songs, firering the 3 gun salute and the folding of the flag. I know that's what he wanted but they make it so devestatingly sad for everyone.

Well I've been eating so off plan because most of the time I was eating out because of traveling everyday. I'm in for the booty challenge.

Cheryl I hear you on the bat wings, I go to the gym and do everything they say to tighten up my wings but it doesn't work for me. How was christmas for your mom. Bet she really love decorating her new home.

Rena glad you had a great christmas, bet your little grandbabies had a blast. Congrates on finally getting to take that trip. A great way to motivate you for the New Year.

Lizzy wish we had a white christmas, you were lucky. But we got well over a foot of the white stuff yesterday and little to late

Karen are you getting ready for the busy tax season. Not far away.

I still remember Father in Law funeral. Thoughts are with you....

Tax season started 3 weeks ago.....$7 corn and crop insurance has played havoc with things. Guys either lost $200,000 or made $100,000, and both are ugly tax-wise.....

Need a mental break already!!! Haven't even looked at my own tax planning!!!

Snowing like crazy again today, but it's so pretty. Even betterthan, that I don't have to drive anywhere.

Karen wow busy already it's funny how I aways thing of the tax season as beginning in March and April. You hate me I'm one of those last minute suzys that waits until the very end.

I have some of those too!!!!!!!!!!! But at least they aren't bugging me in February......then I do the early birds, farmers, and people with kids in college!!!!!

Worked til noon today (Sat) and now supper with brother in law tonight. Restaurants are hard on my eating. Drinking tea all day today, and maybe have pop tonight.

I went back and found the 2011 weights also. I knew I hadn't done well in 2012, but I did not realize that I made NO progress whatsoever since 2011!! I am going to use this idea for additional incentive to keep my weight on the right path in 2013!!

Karen that's not bad it looks like you body was maintaining and you didn't jump your weight up and that's great. And your still down a few lbs from your highest in 2011

So it hopeless? getting old isn't much fun

My dad didnt have a funeral here , but he is in Arlington in DC. I don't know what ceremony was performed there. He didn't want anything. They sent Mom the flag. It made it thru the tornado

I'm going to set a month goal if 5#. I'm holding fluids so I should be able to do it. I have gained 10#

Don't EVEN get me started on that one. I have spent 3 weeks meeting with people to plan business issues, and we can't even make educated guesses on what is a good tax plan. Everything for 2013 is an unknown. The client ends up just guessing......

The issue is that I slid bad in mid-2012. I got back up to 191, which is the weight I was at in 2006 when I first went Atkins plan. I had made it down to low 170's, and then the summer DH had back surgery and I had all the farming to do, as well as accounting, I just lost the diet motivation and went back to low 180s. I had been holding there, but this summer, I ignored things and got to where my pants wouldn't fit (and I couldn't bend over and tie my shoes without holding my breath)

So I have been able to lose all THAT baggage, so happy to be starting 2013 where I ended 2011. But I thought it might motivate me a little if I can compare it to the last year or two, and know I am making progress.

Karen I spun my wheels on weight loss this year too. I'm not at my heaviest for the year but pretty much where I was this time last year. I managed to lose 20 - so close to goal- then gained 10 back when my efforts to lose more failed and the some of the efforts just left me feeling too bad. So here I go again. Are you staying with CALD?

Went on a family road trip----bad roads, so tense knuckles while driving and holding onto the handle above me while a passenger was only excercise in last 2 days

Will try and squat today or tomorrow (can I make something sound bad, or what!!!)
