Karen started reading that book and so far it's really interesting. Right now it's explaining resistance carbs and how the the good slow release carbs for your body. I really think it's going to help me alot understanding SB better.

Oh I forgot to confess I ate a big piece of blueberry pie last night. Made it for a neighbor and then found out the left for a week or so because the DD just had a new baby. The worse part is I made it with straight sugar and lots of it.

Lizzy how your doing. Are you following the same plan that you did before you had Asher?

Mom is doing good. She lost another friend this week, tho. She is prepping for a big Thanksgiving.

I am going to look into these 2 books. Learn about nutrition these days. I know I can't eat a lot of carbs with my FMS so I need to get the best bang for buck. I'll do it til the New Year and see how my weight does. I know it will probably be slower to lose. But maybe more healthy way to do it.

It is still chilly here.

They are trying to do the ground prep for our high school. FEMA has told them what they have to do if they want funding from them. The area has been declared a flood plain because there was 10' of water in the basement after the tornado. Now they have found 5 uncharted mine shafts that have to capped. The area looks so strange. They closed some roads and tore them out. Looks like for good. It's a good thing Mom moved up the hill.

Lovely weather here. And I called it a day off from diet.

Been good for a full week, so going to call today a free day, but try and be smart.

BF was Toast and Peanut Butter with Diet Coke. Don't think that is too radical. 90th Birthday party for aunt, and cousins I haven't seen in years. Have GS1 with me for the weekend and taking my parents (85), so MY food isn't my stress point. Not going to worry about it.

hi all...eating a salad and holding asher while I type!

hubby had port put in yesterday, starts chemo next week. going to go get dd20 from school today for thanksgiving break.

Asher had 4 month check up last week, got shots did well. He is starting to laugh!
He ate bananas on sunday, he likes those!

Please tell if the rasp ketones work, saw a bottle at sam's yesterday and was tempted.

I cheated big time last night....rotel cheese dip with fritos scoops!! and a few almond joy to top it off....oh well

Quick check in, I've been down to take care of my dad again. It's easier than traveling back and forth. Scale is down again, but I think it's all the running around I've been doing. Will be back to catch up got to go make myself some real food to eat.

Had a nutsy weekend with family stuff that went on forever.........and cousin we hadn't seen for years showed up, so I put together 2 restaurant suppers to meet with family, but to keep the ones that don't talk on different nights.....

But survived, and scale only up 1 lb. Turkey day should be a breeze compared to the weekend!!

Off to the gym and then beat the crowds in the grocery store. Don't have anything bought for dinner tomorrow. Well DH did pick up the turkey.

Karen good planning on keeping the ones that don't talk seperated. And only 1 lb up is great when you have to eat with a bunch of people. Are you having alot of people of for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

Lizzy the port will be so much easier. So cute with little Asher starting to laugh, you got to post a new pic, bet he's getting so big.

My mother, for years, has had Thanksgiving for all those friends and family that don't have any dinner to go to. So I will take some food, and probably 10-15 people, but not all family...

I get my nutshell weekend this weekend in Texas. We have to visit the family members separately because of religious shunning of 2 kids and there families, and some just don't get along. It will keep us on the move trying to see everyone. We will get some good Tex Mex food too.

My family gathering is tomorrow before we leave.

We do it at Mom's house. Those invited are friends that don't have family close by. But it still is nice for all.

Looked at my memory on the scale.....I'm up 40 pounds since this time last year....

After Holiday and misc rough week or two, the scale is back down to 184 this morning.

Boy, am I not complaining.........!! The Raspberry ketones are not the only factor, but they certainly haven't hurt anything. And I only paid $3 per bottle

I am just glad the silly thing went back down. I am now back to where I ended the year of 2011. How sad is that????????

(I didn't have a baby this year---- That excuses it all!!!!)

I agree with Karen. Asher was worth it.

We had a busy long weekend in Texas. Put on a few #. I know how to get them off but not how to get them off and feel good too. That is my struggle. But I will keep trying.

I am quite happy with CAD way of eating. And I am down 6 lbs with no real effort since Sept. It is v e r y slow weight loss, but I am definitely making downward progress!!!

6 # down sounds pretty good to me. I keep telling myself slow is better. Maybe I should listen to myself. I've got to do something. I don't want anything extreme. My body just can't do it anymore. CAD isn't extreme. I've looked at SB but I can't wrap my head around it. From what I read it is anti potato and that is the carb I don't want to give up. Once a day would be enough. And then quite my head when I don't lose quick.

SS been missing again, but back today until Monday. My Dad is so sick that me and my Sis take turns staying with him. So glad a new month is starting, maybe things will be better. And my eating stinks so got to get back on plan.
