Lizzy love the shoes, I bet she was so happy. Nuts don't bother me, but give me chinese and I blow up like a blimp. So only try to go out an eat in once a month. The sodium get me bad.

Cheryl been trying to read more in my SB book on fats but so far I see a higher fat. I have dairy, nuts, butter, olive oil, mayo. yogurt,eggs, cheese, and any kinds of meat I want. The one thing I notice is if the author wrote more in detail rather the us learning from trial and error there would have been alot more follows. Really poorly written in my option. If I hadn't learned from Atkins I couldn't do it.

Glad you are getting along with SB. Chinese has the same effect on me. But I can find a lot of other salt sources.

I agree about the book. And I know some things in it have changed. But I thought it was a lot of fish and no potatoes etc. maybe I should look at the SB posts. I don't think JUDDD will be something I can do. Still on induction day 3 and feel ok so far.

I am trying to lower my protein and raise my fats.
Nurtional Ketosis..... Eating too much protein will convert to glucose, so body will burn that first. So I am trying to do that. 2 eggs and 3 yolks with my bacon yesterday.

I am still a hormonal mess. Hot flashes....also my hair has gotten SO curly since I had Asher! It looks like I have a poodle perm!
So not only am I an old new mom I have an old lady poodle hair!! At least it's not blue!

It's been a busy week. But it's over We are staying home this weekend. Hopefully get some more trees cut. And hopefully none hit the house this time

Weight is down a couple #. I'm letting myself have more carbs this time so maybe I won't get to feeling better

The other 2 didn't want chinese, so settled for a steakhouse. With salad bar and steak, only think over was baked potato. And drank water, so damage was minimal.

Cold today. Brrrr. We made a big pot of chili this weekend. Lots if work this week. It will probably increase until Christmas. Then Januaray nothing.

NO NO NO.....I will not be MAMa Smurf...no smurfing way!!!!

DD15 informed me of my gray hair at the temples...I told her that it was just blonde but she doesnt beleive me.

At least my hair is silver and not gray... i HAVE GOT my dad's silver hair and not my mom dingy gray.

weight still at 195.....

Asher will be 4 months on weds....

Second day was extremely painful to sit thru. BORING presenter!!!!
Not good news on possible changes, and now we wait and see what Congress passes before the year-end.

But the food was good, and the scale only went up 2 lbs, so I can live with that.....

But I am NOT ready for tax season to start up again!!!

Sisters BD was yesterday, so I stayed with her for a few days over the weekend. That way I got to see my Dad everyday. Really stinks when I have to drive so far to the rehab. But did good on eating. Finding it alot easier as time goes on.

Cheryl is been so nice here for the past 3 days, up in the 60's and sunshine. Strange weather, keeps me wondering what were in for this winter. Are you still on Atkins induction?

Lizzy no grey hair for me, DH says I color mine so much I need a color wheel on my drivers license Wow how fast time goes by Asher going to be 4 months.

We went to a 2-day school. Mind-numbing by time we are thru

The one I have for reference is Carb Addict Diet. That was first one, I think. I will check and see if have one titled as you have. I know usually the two referencing acronyms are CAD and CALP. I think CALP is Carb Addict Life Plan, or something like that. Will check my book stash when I get home. I tend to have more books than I ever get all read.....

I do think I feel better and am able to stick to plan with CAD, so I am sticking with this route for awhile. I take cheese and deli meat for lunch, have Atkins shake or eggs/bacon for BF, and then I can fix whatever people want for supper, because I never know if me and DH, or if DD23 and GS, maybe Son In Law, or friends dropping by for supper...........

I can control 2 meals per day, but I am at everyone else's mercy for the evening meal..................

Misty sounds warmer there. We had rain and a cold front move thru.

We were supposed to cut trees this weekend but Sat was too windy and Sunday it rained all day. So we relaxed !! I'm not really sticking to anything. Tired of the whole mess I guess. I need something where I can lose but not be deprived.
So I try something for a week and see how I feel and what the scale does. At least I'm not gaining. To get half the weight off then nothing is discouraging. But I will figure it out eventually. I looked up Carb Lovers and it looks very different from CAD. But I couldn't find a lot on it. It lets you have potatoes so it can't be bad

Cheryl we're getting rain tomorrow, so maybe you'll get our nice sunshine tomorrow. Seems our days follow right after yours weather. How's your Mom been doing? Is the neighbor starting to look more like home? For me I'm going to stay with SB but I always read any weight loss books that people give me.

Carb Lovers is different from CAD. Going to research it a little......maybe add those foods to my one Carb meal each day woukld help me also. Going to read a alittle.

Karen started reading that book and so far it's really interesting. Right now it's explaining resistance carbs and how the the good slow release carbs for your body. I really think it's going to help me alot understanding SB better.

Oh I forgot to confess I ate a big piece of blueberry pie last night. Made it for a neighbor and then found out the left for a week or so because the DD just had a new baby. The worse part is I made it with straight sugar and lots of it.

Eh, just enjoy the blueberry pie. Can't pass those up, so enjoy it and go on.
