I am here, barely. Considering a job change. I have been down in the dumps for a couple of weeks and have had trouble staying on track. I was crying at the drop of a hat, and eating crap.

I'm here too. Frusterated that I'm up to 192 today. Been eating clean, but I'm not seeing any progress. Might be the cauliflower crust pizza from last night though. So salty and lots of cheese. I also had sweet potato at lunch yesterday. I think I've gotta stay away from recipes and too many veggies while I'm actively trying to lose. Save those for maintenance.

I hope you feel better Vicky. It's so hard to eat healthy when you are depressed. Hugs

I agree Lizzie, hanging on by a thread. Funny thing is, when I lost weight a few years ago my motto was "Just Do It". I can't seem to live by that now

I've found that I just have to wait until one day I say "That's it!!". It's like I find this crazy inner strength to lose weight and I can finally stick to the plan for more than 2 hours. When life is super stressful, I don't have that inner strength. We were evicted from our house last year and had to move into our friends basement 40 miles away for 4 months with 3 kids. We commuted to work and school, ate total crap, drank way more beer than normal, and I just didn't care. Things are finally stable for us for the first time in many years, and it's only now that I am able to do this. Hang in there

I'd love to starting tomorrow. We are headed to Denver to go to the Aquarium and then Jumpstreet with the kids. Baby was throwing up till 3 am, so wondering if this is a good idea.

Where in Wisconsin do you live slimlizzie? I'm from MN, and my mom got remarried and lives in Westfield, WI now. She turned into this crazy Packers fan. Although they are going to the Vikes/Lions game today because they had to buy a two pack of tix.

Back to 190. Thinking about hopping on the meat/eggs train for a couple of days. There is a thread going on in Main Lobby. Always a good way to jumpstart the losses again.

Today:
Ham and eggs
Coffee/hwc
eggs, bratwursts
1/2 cup greek yogurt
Dinner???

Meat and egg day may be the trick to get me going again. I know I have also done protein shakes for a couple of days in the past and that has helped too.

I am not doing anything sad to say. I read the posts though.

What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving? What LC foods are you making?

My mother is hosting dinner and I am taking green beans almondine, a SF cranberry jello recipe and a sweet potato casserole. Nothing is considered LC. I tried for a couple of years and I remember last year I ended up throwing out a couple of dishes. I decided I was fed up with trying to make LC alternatives and so we are eating real stuff this year.

Just enjoy the day and your family. No sense worrying about it. Life is hard enough.

I think I've hit my M/E limit for a few days. I was 184 this morning, don't know if it'll stick through the weekend though. I eat more when I'm at home. We r staying home for Thanksgiving and cooking the whole shebang. I'll make a L/C cheesecake or something for myself, and just abstain from the stuffing. And I won't let DH make the sweet potatoes. He likes a ton of brown sugar in them and marshmallows on top. Yuck

Stay positive ladies

183 or 184 this morning. Scale is a dial scale with issues. Won't be weighing again for a few days. TOM coming, and today I ate ham and egge brecky, piece of cheddar cheese slathered in peanut butter, a double junior bacon cheeseburger (sans bun), 4 DAM Brewery hot wings w/ blue cheese, and chicken taco salad for dinner. And 3 substantial coctails. Don't think the scale will tell me sweet little lies for the next few days.

That's actually from almost 4 years ago. We got married on top of Loveland ski area in a mass Valentines Day wedding. It was really cold. I was thinner then Need motivation to look like that again.

Got all of my Turkey shopping done. Hopefully I didn't forget anything. I hate braving the grocery store right before Thanksgiving. Eating a nice beef roast that's been in crock pot all day.
