Sarge's Trick the Treats Challenge!
 
We are headed into the bowls of carbage for the little beggers season. Let's join together to trick the treats by not shoving them into our mouths. We will support each other in finding ways to avoid the carb assaults of this season. We will also work hard to trick out our treats ;) to look our best for the upcoming parties, etc. Coming our way.

If this isn't enough of a reason to be good, we have HWMNBN :eek: lurking!

The first weigh in will be tomorrow, Tues., Sept. 4th. Our last weigh in will be Tues., Oct. 30th.

If you forget to weigh in, do so as soon as you can. We are a friendly, fun loving, supportive group, but we are ready to kick booty if you need it!

Hoping to get reenlistments, and all new enlistments are welcome as well!

Everyone is welcome no matter what plan you are on!!! We are all here to support your weightloss journey. Any A.W.O.L. members from past challenges will be given full pardon. We also welcome veterans/maintainers.

Mary Louise would like to be assigned in charge of records. She has a great idea for the troops. Fill them in on your idea and please explain the kcals for new enlistments.

Hello troops :)

My idea is to help us all be accountable.

I started doing this August 21 and it is helping me tons!

Each day I go to my food diary and record what I am going to eat or have ate for the day. It only take a few minutes and it keeps one's eyes on what you could be doing wrong should you stop losing or start gaining.

This is what my records look like.

UD-----goal to reach was 1,300....got 78% of that goal of kcals...

fat- 92.23
carb- 10.06
sugar- 5.71
net carb- 5.76
protein- 25.91
Kcals- 1,009

carb- 4%
fat- 82%
prot- 14%

RDI 78%


That's it. Easy and very do-able.

I started doing a UP and a DD, Atkins style.

My UD is 1,300
My DD is 500-600

Since August 21 I have lost 6.5 pounds. In 14 days. I stopped losing last March......


Troops I hope ya'll give it a try with any WOE you do. I think it has helped me tons` stay focused!

Kcals are, calories.......

I logged every bite and try to log every drink........Its kind of hard for me to keep up on how much water, etc I drink. :) :) :) :)

I didn't really favor a long challenge, Sarge; I'm a cross one bridge at a time
person. Just very scared with vacay and a long list of holidays afterward. :eek:

But Halloween will fit on the screen better and maybe be a little more doable. :high5:

Well it's been a heck of a summer. Too much food, too much alcohol too many late nights and early mornings working and too little exercise.

I need to change my stats to my left here, but the am weigh in was not pretty!

174. Yep a 20# gain this spring/summer.

Here's looking to a fall of getting MY life back

7 pounds....I think I have that much water I'm retaining :eek: watch out when that dam blows! :eek: I'll reassess when it goes and may try your ideas ML. Not sure if I can post daily, but would be a help I'm sure.

Trying to get back into a routine and clean the house!
Work starts up again next week for me.

DS1 went back to college, DS2 started senior year of high school today (I can't believe it!). I really need to get him motivated for the whole college application process. It's really turned into a "job" applying to schools.

I am in. I need a challenge I fell of the train big time over the past 6 months putting back on about 40 lbs and need someone to keep me honest. So it is time to turn back to the forums. Goal for this week is 5 pounds for me.
