Sweet Losses-Halloween Challenge - Everyday is a Challenge

Ok, I'm in!!

Today's weight is 150.6 . Not where I want to be, or will stay!!

I'm going to start another round of hhcg Sept. 8 (I think) so I am hoping/planning to end up down around 139. I am not sure I will be able to maintain that #, assuming I even get to it!! SO, my goal for this next challenge will be to hit and maintain 142 as my goal weight. That's completely unchartered Virgin Weight Territory for me!! (my only concern is that the lower I go on the scale, the lower my cup size goes!! I don't want to completely sacrifice the "girls" for smaller thighs. I'll keep an eye on the situation )

Onward and downward!! Fall is coming (not fast enough here in AZ where it's still 100deg!! ). Bring it on!!!

Okay, I'm up for a challenge! Just joined this group today so I'm jumping in head first.

I'm doing no sugar and no flour with very limited carbs. I've been doing this for almost three weeks and WOW I now know I'm a sugar/carb addict. The first week was akin to ( I'm assuming) withdrawals from drugs or alcohol. Flu like symptoms, vomiting, lethargic, headaches, the whole shebang. Then one morning about 7 days after quitting sugar/flour, I woke up feeling great. Now I get semi-panicky when I think of eating sugar because I don't ever want to go through that first week again!

So, I'm going to set my sites on 160 by the last weigh in on Halloween. That's a lofty goal but I'm going for it!

Julieboo for starting our new thread! I like the starting fresh feeling too! Don't know if I can make this goal or not 'cause we're going on vacation for two weeks and food choices may be limited to some off plan thingies (including one off plan but very much PLANNED banana split at the Art Gallery and Ice Cream Parlor!) But I'll be ambitious and set a 7.5 pound loss goal!

Hope and everyone in the path of Isaac and his rain stay safe!

I'm in! Always love this fresh start feeling! I have a good feeling about this! So glad to be a part of this great group! My goal is to lose 1 pound per week and "just do something" in the exercise department every single day. My biggest challenge.....college football season.....is about to begin but I am ready to handle it this time!

No Yoga today...back is bothering me. I think it was the driving/sitting 2 much in the car yesterday. My back doesn't like me to sit too long. Oh, well.... Kind of taking it easy today.

Pat I took it easy today too. Induction had me lazy. Hope the back gets better. How's he knee?

Julie I like fresh starts too. I feel rejuvenated. Except for today

Keisha 1# was what I was losing til last month. Then nothing. I think with my exercise started back up and induction I will start again.

I not only wish I could get a ticker with a horse figured out for me, but wish I could say 40+ lbs lost!!!!! Good for you!!!!!!! I lost in 2006-2007 and now have managed to creep back up to where I started.

iakaren, go to TickerFactory for the horse ticker. I create the ticker on their website, then save the image to my computer, upload it to my siggy. Give it a try!

Thanks for the compliment on the loss! There are others who have even better losses, though! But we all started (and restarted somewhere)!

I get a lot of support and encouragement from the great ladies on this and the other threads! My dh is a sweetie and is supportive, but he's not the jumping up and down kind like we girls are!

Oh my! I know what you're talking about !!! I watch my daughter's twins daily.
Started out to be Sept-June (she was a teacher). Now it's year-round cause she took a government job ($$$). Thought I'd have my summer's off!!! They are 2 year's old. I keep telling myself that it's a temporary job cause they'll grow up before I know it. It's just not what I originally signed up for. I love them too pieces, but glad when Friday comes! And who can provide better care than Grandma !

Then I feel like I have to do what DH wants to do over the weekend and I don't do what I want to do - LIKE DIG IN THE DIRT ! Lately, I've started to dismiss his ideas for the weekend and indulge in MINE and it has helped me get back on track with my LC WOE .

Hi , big waves to TCG and Laura! Thanks for inviting me and as of Saturday I plan to be around more. Jusr a question I did see that weigh in day is Wedneday but I have always been a Saturday weigher for reasons that work for me. Would that be a problem? On Saturday I will update my weigh which after a month on holidays I am pretty sure is up. My eating this week is finally back under control. I do better having a group for support. Hope to get to know you all better and thanks once again for the invite. This year I hope to make it to my final goal but its one week at a time. See you all later, slipping out and turning the porch light off on the way out.
