Goal by Christmas?

Anyone else on track to make it to goal (or a goal) by Christmas?

My plan is to re-evaluate my final goal once I reach 170, but 170 has been my goal since I started my weight loss journey and I'm going to push through and try to make it before Christmas.

I have 42 lbs. to go and there are 139 days until Christmas.

How about you?

My goal is 190 lbs. by Christmas. This will be 8 lbs. a month loss for me. I think that this is a doable goal so I am definitely in. Starting weight today is 222.0 lbs. Let the countdown begin.

Countdown: Day 139 : 222.0 lbs.

Jumping in here if you don't mind?

I have a ways to go before I get to my end goal, but I definitely have a Christmas goal. We're going to Vegas right before the holiday and I would LOVE to be in Onederland when we go. 195 would be even better!

38lbs. I think I can do it!!

Hey, thanks for joining me. These are all very attainable goals! I'm going to have to be very strict with myself to make it to 170 by Christmas, but I'm excited and think it will be totally worth it! I can't believe how close I am (considering where I started).

We're planning to have some family pictures taken this coming Fall. This will be our first set of professional family pictures and I'm anxious to look my best. We may even use them for our holiday cards, if they turn out nice- eek! That's a pretty big deal considering I've become a bit of an expert at avoiding the camera the last several years.

I would love to jump in and join.
I just had a baby and I need to drop this weight by Christmas. 40 pounds.

Wt..201 yesterday, didn't get to weigh this morning, baby demanded a bottle and then I forgot...

Goal 156 So a little more than 40 but close enough.
Water...gallon a day, at 3/4 gallon now.
Carbs...less than 20 per day
Walking...start on Sat, 4 weeks pp, start with couple laps around the block.

maybe it's not cheese are you like me and like salt added to foods, I think that's what happens when I eat alot of salt, retaining water

I envy you on drinking all that water, I will try to add more to my daily intake, I drink way to much diet soda, and that's alot of sodium

You can do it! Oooo pictures. Not a fan. How exciting will that be though, to be able to take those pictures and know how hard you worked to get there!

Oh cheese and I have a very strong love/hate relationship. I love the stuff but sometimes it's mean to me. Hoping the bloat goes away quickly, I hate when my fingers are swollen!

You can TOTALLY do this!! Low carbing is like heaven, isn't it? I love this lifestyle!

Lost another .5 lb. Thankfully the scale is being kind finally after about 7 weeks of literally no movement. I added exercise about 3 weeks ago and it seems to be what my body was craving. Excited about all the progress I am seeing in the way my clothes fit and how I'm feeling!

I had to break myself from Dt DR Pepper....this is just day 3. I drank it while I was pregnant. Didn't drink soda at all before then.
Water and coffee......once in a while unsweet tea.

A downward trend!!!! I watched my sodium intake yesterday and I am down this morning. I still have 1.4 lbs. to lose to be back where I was last Sunday. I don't salt my food but i had lots of melted cheese and several oz. of deli ham for dinner that but my sodium count of 4000 mg for the day.

I am back on track; watching what I eat and logging my food. I hope to be down to where I started or at least close by tomorrow morning. Looks like this week will be a stall for my weekly weight loss.

Love his name! I craved water with all my pregnancies...ironically prior to each I was a huge soda drinker...interesting how that works! I love diet. dr. pepper!

You can do it! Just know that you're trend is downward, it's all that matters!

Down another .5 lbs.

Walked on the treadmill last night instead of outdoors. Toooooo hot, even at 9pm! Weird feeling, it's been awhile since I've walked on one.

Anybody doing anything fun this weekend? We're going to the movies tonight, other than that I'm not sure. Going to try and do some fun reading this weekend to try and finish my book. My semester starts a week from Monday so they'll be no fun time for me for a while!

I'm up to 213 from 212. I tend to hold onto water at certain times in my cycle, so I'm not too worried. I know I've been on plan and still have plenty of time to make my goal. I do need to make it a priority to drink more water, though. It seems like I'll have great intentions all day, but by the time I get motivated to actually drink it (I'll sip on the same glass all.day.long if I don't push myself, I'm just not much of a drinker) it's so late that if I did, I'd be in and out of bed all night. Now that I'm saying this, I will make it a point to finish the drink I have with me now once I post this!


What does everyone have planned for the weekend? I need to do some grocery shopping- we're down to canned veggies and some chicken thighs. Pretty much tonight's dinner and nothing else. I'm looking forward to a delicious roast this coming week with tons of fresh LC veggies! Yum.

I tend to hold some during my cycle as well...I swear, why do us girls bear all the heavy work? I drink water all day long like it's going out of style, even when it's cooler outside. I figure I must be some sorta freak of nature that way. I love my coffee and diet soda too, but plain water is my first choice. Would putting in some lemon help? I've also heard wonderful things aobut those mio drops that you can squirt into your water for flavor. With the exception of going to the movies tonight, laying low pretty much all weekend, it's too hot here for anything else. I figure I'll get up early tomorrow and do groceries before it's blazing out. Have a great weekend!

I decided to work the plan and I am having a downward trend. Lost all the water weight that I gain this week from Sunday - Wednesday.

up 4.5 pounds today

2 of those pounds are unaccounted for on Sunday morning's weigh in but the other 2.5 I'm assuming are from eating out all day Sunday and very little water. I ate lc all the way until dinner and endulged in a small amnt of fries and enjoyed an ice cold beer The heat here is really doing a number on my bloat as well! Sat outside for hours Sun. evening for a concert in 105+ degree heat so I imagine most of what I'm holding is water..

Back on track yesteday and so-far-so-good today. Guzzling water and watching my food. Hurt my knee so no exercise for a few days
