Kitty- get back on track and you will fell great in no time.
I forgot to mention that I am doing JUDD along with leptin reset. I tried JUDD before and could not stick with it. The leptin reset breakfast makes all the difference now. I am starting to freeze in the cooler weather. That's a sign my leptin is not reset yet (I read it can take 8-12 weeks), or perhaps it is very low carbs that keep me cold. I am literally freezing when is 50 degrees. I can't even imagine people doing the cold therapy recommended by Dr Kruze. |

I need to find which foods will work best for me as far as satiety. I also want foods that I can quickly prepare and eat before work. I had a protein shake today and it is not holding me very well. Part of the problem I think is my cravings and hunger are out of whack due to having too many carbs the last few days.

Jeanie- you are right, you need to find the right food, something that you really enjoy (since you will be eating it in the morning
I know those carbs are monsters and it takes few days for them to leave the system. Just bombard them with some proteins! |

Jeanie- when I re-started leptin reset 3 weeks ago, I started with BAB at 60 gr ptotein. I think that made all the difference. I did slip one time and I thought I have to start over, but it was just one evening and next morning after BAB I was back in control.

Did 64 grams this morning and was good for almost 6 hrs.
Marika- How many carbs do you usually eat per day? Do you limit your protein the rest of the day? |

Beautifull Jeanie!!!
My carbs are anywhere from 0-20 gr a day. Most days I am having no carbs at all, as I am not hungry. I am sure when I start PMSing I might need more. I am just listening to my body. If I feel like having an apple or go for it. I usually have 20-40 gr of protein as my second or third meal. Most of the times I just eat breakfast and late lunch. Before leptin reset I think I used to eat much more protein and was needing more carbs. Right now I am about 100 gr of protein a day. |

Hi Jeanie! it is going well. Today is DD and it is much easier than UD. Sometimes eating less is easier. I was up 1 lb this morning. Don't know why, I am not worried (it could be TMI issue or some water retention).
From reading posts on jack kruze websites, some people report they do better with meat/eggs/fish than with protein shakes. Maybe try to have whole protein, if you can; and have the shakes when you are short on time. Something to think about it. Oh, those pesky hormones ![]() |

Hope you are doing well Marika and Kitty.
I am tired of trying low carb and failing. I do not like low carb foods anymore, so it is never going to work. I need to find a healthy plan that I can live with. |

Jeanie- I know how you feel. Please don't give up before you give the leptin reset a fair try. It works!!! Maybe you can try some new recipes, or perhaps add lots of veggies to your diet? 30gr of carbs a day on leptin reset is pretty decent, believe me I don't even need that much anymore. |

A good LC day!
Jeanie, give it a try. It worked for me before when I was stalling. It also improved other areas. I even started doing some of the cold showers, etc. it was making changes. Lowered my thyroid meds and I believe this is why. Hang in there for a while. Hugs |

How are you Kitty?
I know Jeanie is dong atkins 72 now. I slipped for 2 days and gained 1.5 lbs. I have dicided to do straight forward leptin reset without JUDD for time being. I am feeling my best on LR. Calories naturally staying lower on most of the days. BAB really supresses my appetite. Yesterday I ate at 8 AM and then again at 3 PM and nothing for the rest of the day. So lookes like I am doing IF as well on most days. |

Haven't done well....the addictions kicked in...fighting it here. Being sick and stressed doesn't help.
I do/Feel best on LR too. Need to get back there and get it together. I know that eating crap made me open to getting this stupid virus and not getting over I fast. LC really does help the immune system! I will beat this thing tho! |

Hi Kitty, I had a really bad week and put on back bunch of weight, but I am on leptin reset for the past 3 days and feel so much better. I went crazy with carbs thanks to whicked PMS.
ITA that eating off plan makes out immune system weaker. Hope you feel better soon ![]() |

I am committing to a full 30 days of the reset with the BAB beginning tomorrow 11/6. I am going to set my alarm clock and get up a bit earlier so I can eat, usually I just grab coffee and go. So 11/6-12/5 is what I am shooting for and will then evaluate how I feel.

Getting through my breakfast right now
, not enjoying it at all, but I know it will get easier. Terrible reflux and overheated last night which led to poor sleep, so today should be fun, back to back conferences with parents today until 12:30. I am sure I won't workout today. |

Jeanie- how much protein are you shooting for for BAB? Try to eat your favorite protein for breakfast, something that you really enjoy.
I just finished lamb shoulder chops that were cooked with garlic powder and marjoram ![]() Maybe in the your afternoon meal you can have some carbs? I am thinking of having some butternut squash. Best of luck with the conferences! |

Thanks for the link Marika-will definitely be reading that!
Today has been good my breakfast about (65grams protein) lasted me 7.5 hours! I had dinner and fell asleep for about 45 minutes, it is rare for me to nap but I was exhausted from being awake a good deal of the night. Heartburn is still bothering me today, so I took some apple cider vinegar and some heart burn meds. Hopefully this will get better as the days pass. Glad you had a good day Marika! How is going Kitty? |
