YOU are not that old!!!

So Ms Nosy, how old are you???
I feel old! And my body is telling me I'm getting old.

I did Slimfast about 10 years ago and lost about 85lbs. It has been the first and only time I have EVER had success with weightloss. I was about 25 lbs from a goal of 130lbs.. I dunno how I ever did it!

Heidi - that recipe looks delish.

We can do this. I'm sorry some of you are struggling. But little by little we'll all get through this.

TGIF!

Ended up cranking out a great walk last night. The best one yet. I was like a woman with her tail on fire. I blazed a trail for 3 miles, cranking out just under 16 min. miles. Not too shabby for a crazy lady all day yesterday lazing around and being a lump.

As per usual TOM is kicking my a$$ so I'll do what I can to keep up today and call it a success.

What an inspiration!! I am going to push mow the lawn after work and call it my work out

What is everyone doing for the weekend? I'm hosting dinner and game night tomorrow night for several couples, I'll probably be OFF program so my goal will be portion control. Plans are still up in the air for Sunday after church

I have a bridal shower tomorrow...same one I went to last Saturday.

Nothing on the calendar for Sunday...probably go to the pool with my girlfriends and my DIL while Louis cuts the grass.

OMG, there was no internet connection at work yesterday. I didn't realize how much I lurk on here.

Weekend plans, going to see/get babied by my parents. Staying over until tomorrow. We've been busy so we haven't been able to go over there and vice versa. My mom is very supportive of my eating plan so although she's a cooking fiend, she'll make something on plan for me.

These next couple of weekends should be low key for me and then the craziness will start.

Scale loss today. Got back my 2.5 gain I showed Thursday...plus 1 more pound of new weightloss. I'm happy I have stuck through it all.

Last night out at 10pm walking my butt off because I got sidetracked with the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. Yes, I am determined to get that "1" before my number!!!!!!!!

Nothing going on here this weekend except back to school stuff and laundry. Can't believe my youngest goes back to school in like a week and a half. I go back in like 3 weeks!

Have a great weekend!

I had a great weekend with friends and got a lot of much needed yard work done.

To get the numbers moving on the scale this week I am going to walk on my morning and afternoon breaks. I've also talked DH in to taking a bike ride this evening before dinner

What about the rest of you ladies?

I'm going to increase my water intake, and decrease my diet soda intake! Over the week-end I bought a new water jug that holds a whopping 64 oz! My eyeballs will be floating!

Also, I'm going to get out my Callanetics DVD and do that every morning. I love Callanetics....I'm just lazy in the mornings!

I was just telling Louis yesterday that we need to buy some new bikes! I loved riding bikes with my kids when they were young, and we have a really great area to ride in that's right around the corner from our house!

Okay....I have to share.....I got a real ego-boost yesterday!

DH & I were in Wal-Mart and I had walked over to the hair products aisle and I'm standing there looking for my regular brand of gel, not really paying attention to the really nice-looking 30-something guy standing a few feet away looking for shampoo.

Anyhoo, I was holding my phone in my hand because my shopping list was in it, and he preceding to ask me how I liked my iPhone....he had one and got rid of it because he didn't really like it, it kept dropping calls....blah...blah...blah...

Then he tells me that I look really familiar....what's my name....where am I from....what was my maiden name....Okay, by now I'm thinking, "Oh, geez...you're hitting on me. Are you hitting on me? You can't be hitting on me....you're 30-something and really cute!" Maybe you really do think you know me...

Then after we establish that he doesn't really know me....the next thing he says is, "Please don't be offended by what I'm about to say..." and I'm thinking, "Oh, crap! What now???" Then he says, "But you are a very attractive woman." Totally caught me off-guard! I'm like, "Huh???" I just kind of laughed it off and said something stupid like, "Yeah...I guess my husband thinks so."

Then he said, "Well, it's been really nice talking to you!" I said, "Yeah, you too!" Then I floated off to find my DH to tell him about it! LOL

I know it was cheesy....but it made my day!

Oh so me too on the increasing water intake. I cut out soda a few years ago so all I drink is unsweetened tea but probably too much of it

Hey girls!

It's nice to see you guys today! Quiet around here this weekend.

Definitely ready for a great week! Last full week before my youngest heads back to school, and 2 weeks before my oldest heads off to University. I seriously may need a valium the day we go to drop him off. No joke.

The plan this week is to keep doing what I'm doing. The walking is definitely helping the scale move, and I'm making sure to keep my fat up. Wild concept, and very freeing one, at that, eating fat and losing weight!

Scale moved AGAIN! Down to 237.5 FINALLY

Heidi, that must've felt amazing! I'd have floated away too. I think it's so fun when we get some validation and compliments, even from total strangers especially because they don't have anything to gain from it. KWIM?

I've cut way way way back on the soda drinking. Admittedly in the *old* days I could easily drink probably 64oz + a day and that was regular soda! I don't care for diet soda too much so it keeps me grounded more, but every now and then I enjoy some with lemon squeezed in. I drink water all day long and yep, the eyeballs tend to float by around noon time

Victoria, have a great bike ride, it sounds lovely!

Karen, how was your weekend?

Anyways, time to get going again, seems as if my work is never done around here just had to make sure I came to share my scale movement with you all and check on you. I'm so freakin excited I could do a dance.
