My startind measurements...last updated a few months ago...

Chest
41 inches

waist 33 inches

hips 41 inches

right thigh - 24 inches

left thigh - 24 inches

right arm 13.75 inches

left arm 14 inches

These are the average of 3 measurements...

I’ll be posting my starting stats Sunday morning, and from that point on coming in on each Sunday to list my progress or regress (hopefully not).

By the way, do you want us to post just once and, continue to work within that post, or create a new post for our stats each week? I’d planned on doing the former.

You two ladies measurements are like Twiggy’s compared to mine.

Oh, I see that you cannot come in and edit after a certain period of time. So I guess I'll have to create a new post each time.

Yes, you will have to start a new post each time.

I never really took my measurements at first so I don't have original ones. Don't worry about us seeming twiggy. I'm sure some people have waist measurements the size of my thighs.

We are a pretty suportive group and no one is going to be the least bit suprised by your measurements. No judgements here because no matter your size we are all dealing with the same issues.

Thanks for the kind words, Paula and Jeaniem. Unfortunately, I let myself go when I lost my mom and sister to cancer, in a close period of time of each other. I’ve been trying to get my composure and get back into life again.

Jeaniem, posting to my original measurement post is a great idea!

So sorry to hear about your mom and sister. I understand I went through a period when my son was very sick and I only existed to take care of him. I totally lost any motivation to care for myself.

Thank you Jeaniem... When someone has terminal illness, your focus is laser beamed on them. You're in the moment, but not in the moment... Feeling like a zombie (for lack of a better word…).

Anyway, I'm trying to pick up the pieces and move forward.

Tomorrow is my 1 week mark to re- measure. I peeked today and am not happy, I have gained!! I changed my eating to higher fat and lower protein the last few days, it helps with killing cravings and binge urges, but not looking like it will help my weight loss efforts

Ok- so here are my updated measurements. Remember, this is not a weekly change...I posted my old measurements just to get the thread started.

Chest 38.5 (I knew my boobs would eventually go- I'll admit I miss them.)
Waist 31.5
hips 40
Right thigh - 22 3/4
left thigh - 22 1/2
right arm 12 inches
left arm 12 inches

I'm glad my arms have done down significantly.

Thanks Paula. But I see so much room for improvement. This coming week, I plan on getting back on track to exercising more frequently. I've been in the process of getting one of my rooms set up for this purpose.

I never want to let myself go like this again. For me, this has been one of the most miserable summers. Record breaking hot temperature and layers of fat is not comfortable at all! The sooner I get rid of this flab, the better.

You're doing great callagirl! I'll post new measurements tomorrow, I feel really bloated today and don't want to get discouraged. I went to a family gathering yesterday and the only thing I could have that was on plan was broccoli and salad. I can not believe how miserable I felt from eating just vegetables most of the day, painful gas pains all evening! Glad to be home today and making my regular meals.

Thanks Jeaniem, but I need to do a little bit more in the exercising department.

I know what you mean about having gas pains, after eating vegetables. You feel like grabbing the Beano for sure...
